Safety instructions
General safety
WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious injury.
Electrocution hazard
- Do not operate the heater if it is visibly damaged.
- Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands.
- If the heater’s power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent safety hazards.
- The heater may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate repairs may cause serious hazards.
- Do not use the heater outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or swimming pool.
- Do not expose the heater to rain or moisture.
- Do not open the heater.
Fire hazard
- Do not use the heater in locations where explosive or flammable products are stored (paint, fuel, alcohol, etc.).
- Keep a safety distance of at least 75 cm to any overhanging surfaces.
- Keep a safety distance of at least 90 cm in all directions from the heater to combustible materials such as drapes and other furniture.
- Do not use the heater on deep pile carpets or other combustible materials.
- Do not use the heater on soft surfaces such as a mattress.
- Do not use the heater to dry laundry.

Risk of injury
- This heater can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the heater in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Some parts of this heater can become very hot and cause burns. Do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Do not allow children to play around the heater.
- Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Operating the fan heater safely
WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death or serious injury.
Fire hazard
- Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer, separate remote-control system or any other device that switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
- When operating this heater do not use an extension cord. Always plug directly in a wall socket.
- Do not stretch the cord or place the cord under strain.
- Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not operate the heater with the cord overhanging the front outlet grille.
- Do not run the cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners or similar coverings.
- Do not route the cord under furniture or appliances.
- Do not leave the heater unsupervised while it is operating.
- Do not cover or obstruct the air inlet and outlet openings.
- Do not place the heater directly in front of a fixed socket outlet. The socket outlet must be accessible at all times to enable the mains plug to be disconnected as quickly as possible.
- The heater is not equipped with a device to control the room temperature. Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
- Always switch off the heater and unplug the cord from the socket when the heater is not being used.
- Do not unplug by pulling on the cable, grasp the plug.
Intended use
This fan heater (also referred to as heater) is suitable for:
- Warming up an enclosed space such as a room
- Domestic use
This fan heater is not suitable for:
- Wet environments
- Outdoor use
- Commercial use
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions. This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:
- Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
- Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts provided by the manufacturer
- Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
- Use for purposes other than those described in this manual

Using the heater
WARNING! Fire hazard
- Do not leave the heater unattended when in use.
- Always turn the control knob off and unplug the heater from the socket when the heater is not in use.
NOTE : This heater is equipped with a tip switch that switches the heater off if it tips over.
Connecting
- Place the heater on a flat, stable and horizontal surface.
- Arrange the cord in accordance with the safety instructions, away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over.
- Insert the plug into the socket.
Setting the temperature
For cool air:
- Turn the thermostat dial (A) clockwise towards maximum setting (1).
- Turn the function setting dial (B) towards fan only setting ( ).
- Check that everything is working correctly.
For heating:
- Turn the function setting dial (B) to the 750W setting (I) for a hot temperature.
- Turn the function setting dial (B) to the 1500 W setting (II) for a very hot temperature.
- After the room has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat dial (A) counter-clockwise until a “click” sounds. The desired temperature will be kept constant by the thermostat function.
Disconnecting and storing
CAUTION! Ensure that the heater cools down completely before storing.
- Turn the function setting dial to “Off”.
- Turn the thermostat control dial to “minimum”.
- Unplug the heater from the socket.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING! Unplug the heater from the socket before cleaning and maintenance.
NOTICE!
- Do not use sharp or hard objects or any cleaning or chemical products.
- Ensure that no water/moisture enters the openings of the heater.
- Clean the outer surface of the heater using a lightly damp cloth.
- Dry the heater thoroughly with a dry cloth.
Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the manufacturer’s branch in your country (see kampaoutdoors.com /store-locator ) or your retailer.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents when you send in the device:
- A copy of the receipt with purchase date
- A reason for the claim or description of the fault.
Disposal
- Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins, wherever possible. M If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling center or specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.
