General aspects
ATTENTION: Always read before commissioning!
Please carefully follow the instructions in the operating manual. Non-
observance will invalidate the warranty. The manufacturer accepts no liability
for any damage or consequential damage arising from this.
The HL 800 is a mobile air cleaning unit. The air is drawn in from the
environment and passed through a four-stage filtration system. The filter
stages consist of a pre-filter, one 2in1 combination-filters for gases and
particles as well as a plasma generator.
The individual stages have the following functions:
1st stage
Prefilter
A washable plastic filter is used as a pre-filter. The pre-filter filters
coarse dust particles of more than 5 micrometers, such as house dust, scales,
pollen. The filter can be washed out with water and can therefore be used
several times. HEYLO recommends replacing the pre-filter annually.
2nd + 3rd stage (combi-filter).
Carbon filter:
The formaldehyde filter with activated carbon cleans the air from unwanted
odors, gases and substances. It also cleans the air from harmful formaldehyde.
The substances are absorbed by the absorbed by the activated carbon.
Suspension filter: (are not included in the delivery)
Variant 1: H14 filter according to EN1822
HEPA filters of class H14 are used, among other things, in medical areas such
as intensive care units and laboratories, in clean rooms and in other hygienic
areas. For The selection of the filter class depends on the respective
application.
The filters are EN-compliant and certified. H14 filters capture 99.995 % of
all suspended particles from a size of size of 0.1 µm, so that virus filtering
is possible and e.g. coronaviruses are rendered harmless. are rendered
harmless
Variant 2: E11 filter according to EN1822
EPA filters of class E11, are used among other things in living and working
areas such as used. The selection of the filter class depends on the intended
use.
The filters are EN compliant and certified. E11 filters capture 99.5% of all
airborne particles from a size of size of 0.1 µm, so that dust, bacteria and
pollen filtration is possible.
4th stage
Ionization
By applying strong electric fields, ionizers can electrically charge
individual air particles and thus increase the ion concentration in the room
air. The charged particles are more reactive and can thus destroy odour
molecules and other pollutants. At the same time, differently charged
particles attract each other and form larger lumps that sink to the ground
faster and can be filtered out of the air more easily.

Application / fields of operation
Untreated room air normally contains numerous pathogens. This group includes
mould spores, bacteria, animal hair and above all house dust allergens (mite
faeces, excrements), but also heavy metals, soot and mineral fibres.
Particularly on warm days or during the heating period, large quantities of
these suspended particles develop and are swirled around with the house dust
in the room air. After absorption via the respiratory tract, the particles
then come into contact with our mucous membranes and trigger the known allergy
symptoms.
HEYLO air cleaners can significantly reduce the concentration of these
suspended particles and gases in order to create healthy indoor air.
The devices are typically used in the following areas:
Private apartments, offices, conference and training rooms, schools and public
authorities, surgeries and fitness centres. In all areas where people are
present, the devices can significantly improve air quality. In areas where
pathogens such as bacteria and viruses may be present, the risk of infection
can be reduced.
Putting into service / operation
| To switch the unit on/off, press the power. to start the unit.
You start in automatic mode.
In this operating mode, the motor speed is controlled by a sensor.
The speed of the fan motor is automatically regulated in three stages,
depending on the air quality. The more particles in the air, the higher the
fan motor speed.
To switch off, press the button again and the unit goes into standby mode.
---|---
| Press the “Speed” button to change the fan speed. You can select 3 air
output levels by repeated tapping.

With the Mode button you can select 3 programmes
In automatic mode, the unit automatically selects the appropriate fan speed
depending on the air quality. At night, the unit automatically reduces the fan
speed. The ionisation function is in operation.
The turbo programme is useful in case of heavy air pollution, e.g. cigarette
smoke. The unit then runs at the highest fan speed.
Press the “Sleep” button to operate the machine manually at the quietest
level. This ends the automatic mode. All lights and displays are switched off
and the fan runs at the lowest speed. It no longer responds to the air sensor
| When the machine is switched on, you can press the “Timer” button to let the
machine run automatically for a certain period of time. You can select the
time period from 30 minutes to 12 hours. You press the button until the
desired time appears on the display. 5 seconds after the last press, the unit
switches back to the air quality display. (PM2.5 value). To switch off the
timer function again, press the button until none of the hour signals below
the display are lit up.
| Press the “Child Lock” button to activate the child lock. Press and hold the
child lock button for 5 seconds to cancel the function.
| The filter indicator lights up red after 3000 hours of operation.
You should then replace the main filters.
You can reset the display by pressing the button for 3 seconds.
Then the filter timer starts again from the beginning.
