Description

Important safeguards

• Do not expose the unit to vibration, direct sunlight, too high or low temperatures or humidity.
• Do not disassemble the unit yourselves

Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. All the illustrations in this manual are schematic images, which may differ from actual objects.

Power supply

• The unit operates on an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery and 220V mains via adapter.
• The battery can be recharged with the provided USB charging cable. Before first plugging the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home.
• Insert the charging cable into the DC 5V socket on the unit.
• Connect the charging cable to the power adapter. Plug the adapter to the power source. Charging LED will light up.
• For best results, try to fully charge the battery before each use. If the battery is drained, please allow it to recharge for a few hours.
• You can add extra batteries to prolong the unit operation. Open the battery compartment and insert two LR20 (D) batteries observing the polarity marks. Batteries are not included

General operations

• Rotate the volume knob clockwise to switch the unit on.
• Rotate the volume knob to the OFF position to switch the unit off.

Radio

• Turn on the device.
• Put the mode selector to the FM, AM or SW position.
• Rotate the tuning knob to search for available radio stations.
• For the best possible FM and SW reception fully extend the telescopic antenna.
• For AM radio this unit has a built-in  ferrite antenna. Rotate the unit to achievethe best reception

AUX input

• You can output sound from an external audio device through the speakers of this radio by connecting an external device to the AUX IN audio input.
• To connect an external device, use a standard cable with 3.5 mm plugs (not included) to connect the line or headphone jack to the 3.5 mm AUX IN jack on the side of the radio.
• Turn on the external device. You cannot control playback with the buttons of this unit except adjusting the volume

USB/MicroSD operation

Playback

• Insert a microSD (TF) card into the slot. Or insert a USB drive into the USB port. Put the selector to the BT/MUSIC mode. Playback will start automatically.
• When playing, you can press PLAY/ PAUSE to play or pause the playback.
• During the playback you can press the  PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons to go to theprevious and next track. Press and hold these buttons to quickly scan the track backward or forward. Rotate the volume knob to adjust volume.

It may take up to 60 seconds to open andverify a large microSD card / USB drive with many files.

General USB/MlcroSD notes

• This unit is equipped with a microSD slot and USB port that can read and play MP3 files stored on standard microSD cards and USB drives up to 128 GB.
• FAT and FAT32 file system is supported by this unit.
  Never remove mlcroSD cards and USB drives from the unit during playback, always stop playback, then switch to another mode before removing the storage to prevent damage to your files and cards/drives themselves.

Maintenance and care

The outside of the appliance can be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.

Bluetooth

• The Bluetooth pairing name of the unit is TF-1695UB.
• Put the selector to the BT/MUSIC mode. BT mode is available if there are no storage devices (USB/SD). If there are any, the unit will switch to MUSIC mode.
• Use your mobile device to search the Bluetooth signal of the unit, then input the password 0000 if necessary.
• Switch off the Bluetooth function on your mobile device to disconnect the units. When paired successfully for the first time, this unit will automatically connect the paired device when it switches on.
• Effective connection range is 10 meters in direct line of sight.
• You can control playback and volume using the standard control elements of this unit.
