Thank you for choosing a portable solar charger. We believe it will bring much convenience to your life. The Solar panel is lightweight and flexible. This solar charger is designed to be user-friendly, a flexible solar cell which is small in size and a lightweight design. The solar panel can immediately produce low cost renewable energy.

Operation Instructions

Charging products: Unfold the solar panel under direct sunlight wait for 5 seconds. Select correct voltage 8.4V or 16.8V and connect the solar charger to the NightSearcher product using the power output cable. The product should indicate it is charging. If the sunlight is not sufficient, the solar panel can be connected with power bank for energy storage.

8.4V + 16.8V DC + USB 5 When the panel is connected as instructed above, if the NightSearcher product is not indicating that it is charging. Please pull out the output cable and reconnect, or adjust the angle of the Solar panel and expose to more sunlight.

Q&A

Q: Does this solar panel works indoor?
A: This solar panel works under strong light no matter indoor or outdoor, but we suggest to use it outdoor as the sunlight is strong enough to make the solar panel produce more energy.

Q: Is this solar panel waterproof?
A: Yes, this solar panel is waterproof, and please do not let the water go into the junction box while charging.

Q: Does the solar panel need to be security inspected before boarding a train or plane?
A: No, there’s no battery inside the solar panel, it can be taken on a train and plane.

Warning

Before using, carefully read and follow the instructions. Misusage may cause the solar panel will compromise the performance of the solar panel.

• Do not contact the solar panel with sharp or blunt objects to avoid damaging or scratching the solar panel.
• Please avoid excessive light exposure which in long time storage.
• Avoid placing in the high temperature (≥ 70 °C), humidity and corrosive environments.
• Do not reverse charging to the solar charger to avoid damage to the internal circuit.
• When charging, do not block any part of the solar panel.
• Do not alter, reassemble, drop, shake or bang the solar connector.
• Do not discard the product in water or fire to avoid damage to the charger circuit.
• Do not try to repair the unit or adaptor yourself. Please contact NightSearcher or an authorized distributor.

Warranty Terms

All NightSearcher products have a 3-year standard warranty on all manufacturing defects and 1-year warranty on all rechargeable batteries from the date of purchase.

Extended Warranty: From 1st September 2018, customers have the option to extend the warranty of the product to 5 years for manufacturing defects. Registration of the product must be made within one month of purchase by sending us an email at sales@nightsearcher.co.uk.
