Battery Installation

Warning: Replace batteries only in non hazardous areas.

  1. Use the hex key on the end of wrist strap, to unscrew the socket grub screw. Retain the screw and twist off the bezel cap.

    • Remove the LED holder, take care not to touch the heat sink as it may be hot. Do not touch LED.
    • Insert 4xAA Alkaline batteries, as shown in diagram inside case.
    • Replace the bezel cap and twist bevel until screw and arrow are lined up, lock the cap in position by tightening the socket grub screw.
    • Your flashlight is now ready for you to use.
    • Operation

  2. The flashlight has three modes of operation: High power, half power & flashing.

    • Twist the switch to activate the high power mode, twist again to move to activate low power, twist again to activate flashing mode and twist once more to turn off the light.
  3. Use the safety lock to prevent unit accidentally switching on Up: Unlock or Down: Lock

  4. Twist bevel to adjust beam from Spot to flood Anticlockwise: Spot or Clockwise: Flood Light

General Warning

  • Do not expose the battery to excessive heat, to do so may cause an explosion.
  • Do not use metal objects to short circuit the positive and negative end of the battery.
  • Do not dispose of the battery in the domestic waste, please use the correct method of disposal.
  • Do not solder directly on to the battery.
  • Do not let the battery become wet or immerse the battery in water.
  • Keep the battery away from children.
  • The operating temperature range of the flash light’s battery: Charging: 0°C to 45°C / Discharging: -20°C to 60°C
  • Do not shine the flashlight directly into people’s eyes, as it may damage their eyesight.
  • If the flashlight is not used for a long time, batteries should be removed to avoid battery leaking which may damage the flashlight.
  • Do not try to repair the unit. In case of any problems or questions please contact NightSearcher Limited or an authorised distributor.

GUARANTEE TERMS

All NightSearcher products have a 3-year standard warranty on all manufacturing defects and 1-year warranty on all rechargeable batteries from the date of purchase. Extended Warranty: Customers have the option to extend the warranty of the product to 5 years for manufacturing defects. Registration of the product must be made within one month of purchase by sending us an email sales@nightsearcher.co.uk.
