Introduction

For a group of 200–300 people, this personal amplifier speaker’s 18W original clear and powerful output is ideal. You will receive a cordless, comfortable 35 m (100 ft) uhf microphone. You can place the amplifier on a table nearby instead of carrying it. The 4400mAh rechargeable battery in this portable microphone and speaker set allows for up to 12 hours of wirelessly steady continuous amplification on a single charge; the 18W portable pa system with wireless mic is ideal for personal or professional use in big indoor and outdoor spaces. You can stream your favorite music from any kind of Bluetooth- enabled mobile device, up to 33 feet away, and it also doubles as a wireless voice amplifier; Aux input, TF Card, and U Disk are also supported in one.

UHF WIRELESS MICROPHONE

1. The wireless microphone factory setting have been paired successfully; you can use it directly. If the microphone has no sound or the microphone is disconnected, you need to pair it manually.
2. Pair the UHF manually:

STEP1: Turn on the voice amplifier, long press “M” key for 5 seconds, amplifier comes a voice prompt “UHF waiting for connection.

STEP2: Turn on the wireless microphone and long press “” key for 5 seconds, pairing is successful with a voice prompt “UHF is connected”.

VOLUME CONTROL:

1. If the amplifier howling or in a small volume, adjust the volume by press or “on the wireless microphone.
2. You can also adjust the volume on the voice amplifier by long press “” or “”.

HOW TO CHARGE THE WIRELESS MICROPHONE:

When the microphone blue indicator light flashes means low battery. Please turn it off and charging through Micro USB with DC 5V 500mA+ adapter. The red indicator light will be on all the time when charging, and it will go out after fully charged.

NOTE:

1. The normal charge time is 3-5 hours. Unplug the charger as soon as it is fully charged.
2. When you first use wireless microphone, the battery is in low power. To ensure the best sound amplification, please fully charge it.
3. Turn off the UHF wireless microphone when you are not using it.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Turn on the power switch, but the amplifier has no sound.
2. Turn the volume up on the voice amplifier, and also on the microphone.
3. No response after any operation: please press and hold “H/o “for 10s to reset the speaker and power it on again.
4. Talk to the wireless microphone, but the amplifier has no sound.
5. Please confirm both voice amplifier and microphone is power on.
6. Please confirm whether the wireless microphone has been paired with the amplifier successfully or not. Pair the UHF manually again if necessary.
7. The voice amplifier has distinct howling
8. Wear the microphones correctly: put the microphone in front of the mouth
9. In a small room, please turn down the volume properly to avoid howling.

Please read the instructions carefully before using it.

NOTE: Before turn on the amplifier, ensure that the MlC don’t point at the amplifier, this will eliminate any annoyance associated with howling. For ensure better amplification, aim at the headset MIC capsule when speaking, and keep the distance between the voice amplifier and the MIC more than 60 cm to avoid howling.

Simply tucking the speaker around waist, and mounting headphone overhead can help achieve the required distance.

1. POWER SWITCH/ PLAY & PAUSE:

8. 5MM MICROPHONE JACK: Insert the wired microphone in any mode to amplify with current mode simultaneously. To avoid howling please do not point the microphone toward the speaker. (There is no wired MIC in wireless version.)

10. AUX INPUT: When switch to AUX mode. You can play the audio files via audio cable connect the computer, mobile phone, MP3/MP4.

HOW TO USE

CHARGE THE SPEAKER:

Please turn the speaker off and charge it timely when it’s low battery with voice prompt “Low battery, please charge” Please charge through Micro-USB cable with DC 5V output adaptor.

NOTES:

• We suggest fully recharges it before you first use;
• All functions will stop when charging;
• Please unplug the charger after it is fully charged.

LOOP:

When play music on TF card/USB flash drive, long press “M” key for 3 seconds to switch to single song repeat; long press “M” key for 3 seconds again to switch to all repeat.

Notes: Speaker will be “all repeat” by default after powered on next time.

RECORDING:

Supports wired MIC recording: Make sure the USB flash disk or TF card has been inserted, and then plug wired MIC into “MIC” port, short press “” key to record; short press “” key again to stop recording, it will automatically play the present recording files .The recording files will be saved automatically into the USB flash disk or TF card. Play recording: long press “”key in the MP3 playing mode.

BLUETOOTH INSTRUCTION

Please pair with your Bluetooth device as follows:

1. Switch on the amplifier and press “to enter into Bluetooth mode. (The Bluetooth mode is ready with voice prompt “Bluetooth is waiting for connection”.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone and search “SD-M800”. Click and it will be connected successfully with a voice prompt “Bluetooth is connected”.
3. When playing music, please keep close to the amplifier to keep the signal stable. If the distance is too far (more than 10 m), the Bluetooth will be disconnected.

How do I get a second wireless mic headset for this to use when battery dies on first headset?****

The wireless set is unreliable and I was never able to find a replacement. So I went with wired and no more problems.

It says the battery can last up to 2-3 years. But I don’t see any opening on the devise to put new ones. Can the batteries be replaced by the owner?****

It is a rechargeable battery (in both the headset and the amplifier). If there is a limit on the life of the rechargeable battery, I’m not aware of it and I’ve had no issues with my batteries after far more than 3 years.

Can I use multiple of these units in the same room with different presenters on each one?****

yes you can, but please pair the unit one by one just in case cross connection.

Does this work well with a mask?****

I have to admit I haven’t used this since the pandemic. But I think the answer is that if you can speak forcefully enough to get the sound through the mask to a normal person you would talk to, the microphone will pick it up and broadcast it just as it would your normal unmasked voice. I’m also going to go out on a limb and guess that this particular amplifier will do a better job with a masked person than any other amplifier on the market since in general I find it to be far superior to others I’ve tried.

Can you connect a lavalier mic?****

Yes, it can work well with lavalier mic.

Will both units work while being charged, or do they not work while plugged in?****

No, it does not. Doesn’t work well outside either. My yoga class could not hear me when we had our session outside.

Never got that far. Bluetooth headset didn’t last long enough. Defaulted to wired to get a headset that worked reliably.
