FIG-1

General information and correct use

The “Digital Max-Min Thermometer” is designed to measure the air temperature indoors or outdoors. It synchronously displays the current temperature as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures measured since the last reset (“CLEAR” button). The thermometer should be positioned in a location without direct sunlight, protected from rain (e.g. under a canopy) and at a height of at least 1.5 meters above the ground. These measures will avoid incorrect measuring results and prevent malfunctions of the thermometer.

Measuring temperature

Temperature measurement begins with inserting the battery. The temperature is measured using an NTC thermistor. The influence of sunlight, heat sources and heat-conducting substrates must be avoided.

Maintenance and storage

The device is not waterproof or water-resistant and therefore should not be immersed in water or any other fluid. If the device gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth.
