- Carefully read these instructions before use, and follow all the instructions and safety instructions to avoid personal injury and/or material damage. Save these instructions for future reference. The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions. All other use is considered to be unsuitable. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for personal injury and/or material damage resulting from improper use. The full responsibility for any such personal injury and/or material damage rests on the user.

The product is not intended for commercial or industrial use. Commercial,
professional or industrial use (or equivalent) will invalidate the warranty.

INSTALLATION

The filter should be mounted on the inlet side in front of the pump.
Note the direction of flow through the filter. The screw over the filter is used for venting.

After fitting and cleaning, the filter housing should only be tightened by hand. Do not use tools.
USE
INTENDED USE

The filter is only intended to be used together with garden pumps, water transport systems and automatic water systems for households.

The filter must only be fitted on the inlet tube.

The filter provides protection from contaminants when transporting water from ponds, watercourses, wells, rainwater barrels or cisterns.
NOTE: -
The filter must not be used in systems for drinking water.

The filter must not be connected to the water mains.

The filter must not be installed on the outlet tube.
HOW TO USE
- The filter is intended to be used for pumping fresh water or slightly contaminated grey water.
- The temperature of the water must not exceed 35°C when in constant use.
- Do not use the filter for pumping flammable, gaseous or explosive liquid.
- Do not use the filter to pump corrosive liquid (acidic or alkaline) or liquid that contains abrasive particles, such as sand.
MAINTENANCE
- Check and maintain the filter at regular intervals for best functionality and life span.
- Clean the filter, empty it and store in a dry place for the winter season, or other long stoppage.
- Empty the filter if there is a risk of exposure to temperatures below 0°C, otherwise there is a risk of material damage.
CLEANING

Remove the filter element and clean by rinsing it with clean water. FIG. 2

Make sure not to damage the filter web inside. How often the fitter element needs cleaning depends on how contaminated the water is.
