SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not use the product to transport corrosive, flammable or explosive substances such as petrol or other petroleum products, nitrogenous liquids, grease, oil, salt water or waste water from toilets, or liquid that has a higher viscosity than water.

The temperature of the pumped water must not exceed 35° C.

Keep this product out of the reach of children.

Do not use the product if there are any persons in the water.

Make sure the product does not suck up aquatic animals, such as fish.

Pay attention to the risk of contaminating the liquid as a result of leaking lubricant.

Protect electrical connections from moisture.

Do not expose the product to temperatures below 0°C. Make sure that the product is not run without water.

Do not pump aggressive liquids or abrasive material.

Do not pull the power cord or float switch cord to move the product, and do not use them to secure the product from moving.

DESCRIPTION
Ideal for irrigation or circulation and the uptake of clean water, e.g. for garden dams. The pump has an aluminium motor and a plastic pump housing.
USE
INTENDED USE
The product can be installed in a piping system that supplies domestic
water. In suchcases the product should be connected to the piping system with
a flexible hose, to avoid transmitting vibrations to the piping system.
WARNING!
- Risk of personal injury. If components are used that cannot withstand the pressure, or if the installation is not carried out correctly, the outlet tube canburst and spray out water, which can cause personal injury and/or material damage.
- Electrical safety. Do not use the product in damp areas.
NOTE:
The product is not intended for transportingdrinking water, only to transport
water for a toilet or washing machine.
PREREQUISITES
- The plug must be plugged into a correctly installed and earthed power point.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
- The product must be connected to a mains with a residual current device of max 30 mA for use in a pool or garden.
- If the product is used outdoors, only use an extension cord approved for outdoor use. The product must not be put in water.
- If an extension cord is used the crosssectional area of the wires must be dimensioned for the power supply to the product. If an extension cord is used on a reel, pull out the full length of cord.
NOTE:
Risk of material damage. The product must be filled with water before it
starts. Water does not need to be refilled during long term use. Do not leave
the product unattended when running. Dry running can result in material
damage.
FILLING WITH WATER AND STARTING
- Remove the pump casing.
- Fill the product full of water.
- Replace the filter and fit the pump casing and seal.
- Fill the suction tube with water if the product is only going to be used temporarily.
- Open a tap on the outlet tube to release any air sucked in.
- Start the product.
- Switch off the product when water comes out without any air.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Pull out the plug before cleaning and/or maintenance.
NOTE:
All the seals should be replaced if the product is dismantled.
- Do not attempt to carry out any measures other than as described in these instructions for maintenance and troubleshooting. Any problems not described in these instructions should be carried out by qualified personnel.
- Only use accessories and spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. The use of other accessories and parts can result in a risk of personal injury and/or material damage. It will also invalidate the warranty.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The troubleshooting guide on the next page is used to identify the causes of common problems and how they can be rectified. Contact the dealer if the problem can not be rectified with the help of the troubleshooting chart. Contact the retailer if you cannot solve the problem with the troubleshooting chart. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from repairs or attempted repairs carried out by unauthorised persons.
