SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • The battery charger is only intended for use indoors in dry, well ventilated areas.
  • Never attempt to charge non­rechargeable batteries.
  • Never attempt to charge batteries not intended to be used with this charger.
  • If the battery charger’s power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised service centre to prevent the risk of electric shock.
  • This battery charger can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experi­ence or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the charger and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the battery charger. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the battery charger without supervision.
  • Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the battery charger. Keep the charger and the power cord away from children under eight years of age.
  • Unplug the plug from the power point before inserting or removing the battery.
  • Never leave the battery charger unattended when switched on – risk of fire and electric shock.
  • Protect the battery charger from moisture.
  • Never immerse the battery charger in water or any other liquid, or use it where there is a risk of it being exposed to water, or falling into water.
  • WARNING: Explosive gas. Avoid sparks and naked flames. Make sure there is adequate ventilation when using the battery charger.
  • Connect the battery charger to an easily accessible power point nearby.
  • The battery charger is only intended for household use, not for commercial use.
  • Connect the charger to a residual current device (max 30 mA) if possible. Never modify the power cord or plug.
  • Never pull out the plug with the power cord, or touch the power cord with wet hands. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces/objects, oil, sharp edges and moving objects.
  • Check the charger for damage. Never use damaged products.
  • Do not insert objects or your fingers in the openings on the charger.

DESCRIPTION

The quick charger is part of the Meec Multiseries, a series of power tools and garden machines that can use the same battery and charger.

CHARGE INDICATORS

The red indicator goes red The mains plug is connected.
The red indicator is on + green indicator is flashing Charging in progress.
Green indicator on
The battery is fully charged.

USE

Charging the battery

NOTE: The battery can get warm during charging – this is completely normal.

MAINTENANCE

Clean the charger with a dry cloth. Do not use liquid, or strong detergents.

WARNING!

  • Always unplug the plug out from the mains before cleaning the battery charger.
  • Never immerse the charger in water or any other liquid. Risk of short-circuiting.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Are the battery terminals dirty? Clean if necessary.
  • Is the charger connected to the mains as shown on the type plate?
  • Is the power cord damaged?
  • Is the battery is defective 7
  • Do the indicators come on?
    • Has the power supply been disconnected?
    • Has a fuse tripped?
