Precautions
Read Carefully Before Proceeding Please keep this manual in a convenient place for future reference.
Power Supply
Always use a DC 9V, center negative, 200mA AC adapter. Use of an adapter other than that specified could damage the unit or cause malfunction and pose a safety hazard. Always connect the AC adapter to an AC outlet that supplies the rated voltage required by the adapter.
Disconnect the AC adapter from the AC outlet when during lightning storms or
not using
the unit for an extended period.
Connections
Always tum off the power before connecting or disconnecting. Make sure to
disconnect
all cables and AC adapter before moving the unit. This will help prevent
malfunction
and damages.
Environment Considerations
Avoid using the unit in any of the following conditions that could cause malfunction:
- Extremely hot or cold places;
- Under direct sunlight;
- Magnetic fields;
- Near heaters and other heat sources;
- Sandy or dusty places;
- Places that are extremely humid or exposed to splashing water.
- Places with lots of vibrations.
Electrical Interference
Devices that are very susceptible to interference or that emits powerful electromagnetic waves (e.g. radios and TVs) should not be placed near this unit as interference could occur. Electromagnetic interference could cause malfunction and could corrupt or destroy data.
Always operate this unit at a suitable distance from these devices.
Handling
Do not apply excessive force to the switches and other controls, exposing the
unit to strong impacts. which could cause it to break.
Do not put foreign objects or liquids into the unit.
Never open the case or attempt to modify the product in anyway since this can
result in damage to the unit. Clean only with a soft dry cloth.
Note
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to part 15ofthe FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions. may cause harmful interference to radio communications.

Main Features
Donner Island Delay & Looper pedal is a multi-type delay and looper pedal packed with most useful functions and 10 kinds of world-dass delay algorithms ranging from classic to ambient plus a 17-second looper. Not only provides pristine digital to warm tape delay like Digital delay, Analog delay, Tape delay, but also includes Loli delay, Modulation delay, Ping Pong delay, Reverse delay, Deluxe harmonic delay, Shimmer delay and Tremolo Delay. With the Oriented tone switch, you can have 20 kinds of amazing delay effect in a small stomp box.
Built-in tap tempo function and simple parameters can let you set your own delay tone as easy as possible. Stereo inputs and outputs offer you awesome and huge delay tone. Trail ON Mode (Buffer Bypass) and True Bypass Mode provide you a choice to decide keeping delay tail or keeping your tone characters. There is vast creative potential in the Donner Island Multifunction Delay & Looper pedal.
10 kinds of world-class delay effect ranging from classic to ambient includes Digital, Analog, Tape, Loli delay, Mod delay, Ping Pong, Reverse delay, Deluxe delay, Shimmer delay and Tremolo delay.

Panel layout

DC IN: Input for power supply, use a 9V DC regulated power E!l-C–6 supply 200rnA. center pin negative.

lime knob: Adjusts the delay time, from a minimum position of 36 milliseconds to a maximum of 1200 milliseconds.

Level knob: Adjust the output volume of the delay effect. When level knob is at the minimum position, the output is only your dry signal. As the knob is turned up, the delay output increases in volume.

Feedback knob: Adjust the number of repeats of the delayed signal. As this knob is turned clockwise, the number of repeats increases.

0riented switch: Adjust the delay tone between the Modem or Retro.

Type Selector: Select the type of delay including DIGI (Digital Delay), ANA(Analog
Delay). TAPE (rape Delay}. LOFI (Loli Delay). Mod (Modulation Delay). P.PONG Ping Pong Delay , RVS (Reverse Delay), DELUX (Deluxe Harmonic Delay), SHIM (Shimmer Delay), TREM (Tremolo Delay) and a looper. -
Input jack L (Mono): 1/4″ mono audio jack left input for connecting to the input device or instrument. When the mono input jack L is connected, it can output stereo signals.

Input jack R: 1/4″ mono audio jack right input for connecting to the input device or instrument.

Output jack L (Mono): 1/4″ mono audio jack of left output, effect output for connection to amp or other devices.

Outputjack R: 1/4″ mono audio jack of right output, effect output for connection to amp or other devices.

LED: Indicates the effect on/off, Tap Tempo function and Looper function.

Foot switch: Engages and disengages the effect. It also controls the Tap Tempo function, Looper function and controls the Trail ON Mode or True Bypass Mode.
Tap Tempo
- Press the foot switch to engage the effect.
- Press and keep holding the foot switch for Is to enter Tap Tempo Mode, the LED will indicate RED.
- Tap the foot switch more than twice to control the delay time division as quarter notes.
- After 1.5s without tapping, it will quit the tap tempo mode, LED will indicate white.
Note: Time knob and Tap Tempo mode also control the delay time parameter. The delay time parameter depends which controller you are using.
Looper
RECORDING
- Select the Type selector to LOOP.
- To record a loop, press the footswitch once. The LED will light red and recording begins immediately.
- To stop recording the loop, press the footswitch again once. The LED will light white, and the loop will begin playing immediately.
- The LEVEL knob controls the output level of loop playback.
- The loop plays indefinitely. Each time the loop repeats, the LED will briefly turnoff.
Note: If the full 17 seconds of loop recording time is reached, recording will stop automatically.
STOPPING & STARTING LOOP PLAYBACK & CLEAR
- To stop loop playback, press the footswitch two times quickly. The LED will flash to indicate.
- While playback is stopped, press and release the footswitch once to start loop playback. The LED will light white to indicate that the loop is playing.
- Hold the footswitch for Is to clear the loop. The LED will turn off.
RECORDING AN OVERDUB
- To record an overdub, first begin playing backa recorded loop by pressing the footswitch once to begin playback. The LED will turn white and the loop will begin playing immediately.
- To start recording an overdub, press the footswitch once. The LED will turn red and new audio will be recorded on top of the original loop.
- To stop overdubbing the loop, press the footswitch again once. The LED will turn white, and the loop will continue playing along with the overdubbed audio.
- If the loop repeats during overdubbing, the LED will turn off briefly. It can overdub indefinitely, allowing you to continuously add new audio to your loop.
Note:
- Overdubbing will never change the length of the loop.
- There is no Undo/Redo function in this unit.
- This unit will not save the recorded loop while you are adjusting the Type selector or unplug the power cable.
Trail ON Moderrrue Bypass Mode
- Trail ON Mode isa buffered bypass mode that signal goes though the ADIDA and DSP. When engage or disengage the effect, the delay tails will still keep natural.
- True Bypass mode isa hard-wire bypass that will not affect the guitar tone when the pedal is bypassed. The effect will stop immediately after the pedal is switched to bypass.
- The default mode is Trail ON Mode.
Switching between Trail ON Mode or True Bypass Mode:
- Unplug the power cablefromyour pedal.
- Press and keep holding the footswitch.
- 1nserttheDC power supply plug.
- The Led will flash to indicate what kinds of mode you are using. Flash once means Trail ON Mode. Flash twice means True Bypass Mode.
- Repeat the steps above can switch between Trail ON Mode or True Bypass Mode.
Setup Instruction
- Connect the power, use a 9V DC regulated power supply more than 200mA, center pin negative.
- Connect your instrument to the input jack on the right side of the pedal with an instrument cable
- Connect the output jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier or other pedals
- Press the On/Off button, adjust the parameters and delay type to set your favorite tone.
- Enjoy your playing.
Notes: For best results it is recommended to put the ‘ISLAND’ after the
distorted pedal in your
effects chain, or put it in your amp’s FX loop.
