Warnings and Cautions

  • Do not apply excessive force to the product, throw it, or strike it with sharp objects.
  • When children use the product, parents must instruct them on how to use it correctly and make sure they do so.
  • Use within a temperature range of0-40 °C and do not use in hot or humid conditions. Install the product in a well-ventilated area, not an enclosed space. The product may break, corrode, overheat, or catch fire in an environment below O °C or in a sealed environment with a high temperature, such as a sauna. Moisture or liquid can also damage the surface of the product and its circuit components.
  • Be sure to use a genuine power adapter provided by ROSE.
  • Other power adapters may cause operational errors or product damage (performance degradation).
  • Do not spill dirt or liquid on the product. Doing so may damage the components and circuits. If the product gets wet, do not turn it on. Contact your nearest service center. However, free repairs are not available in this case.
  • Do not place the product on objects that may interfere with radio waves (steel desks, microwave ovens, etc.).
  • Because the product is sensitive to radio waves, using it near steel or electromagnetic devices can lead to poor performance.
  • In order to improve product performance, some functions may be changed without prior notice to the user.
  • Do not use chemical solutions (alcohol, thinners, solvents, etc.) or detergent to clean the product. Rubbing the product with a chemical solution can create heat and cause the product to catch fire. When cleaning the product, wipe it with a soft cloth or towel.
  • Do not disassemble, modify or repair the product on your own. If you do, you will no longer qualify for free repairs. If a malfunction occurs because of this, contact an authorized service center for repairs.

USB2.0 This port is dedicated to USB 2.0 and can be used by connecting

USB 2.0 flash drives and devices that support USB 2.0.
USB 3.0| This port is dedicated to USB 3.0 and can be used by connecting USB 3.0 flash drives and devices that support USB 3.0. (However, USB 2.0 is also supported when used in USB 3.0 type-B mode.)
USB 3.0
Type- B| This port is used to connect a host-capable product such as a computer using a USB 3.0 type-B cable.
USB3.0 SFP| This port is to connect the LC/UCP optical cable to the SFP optical module and connect it to a computer or host product (some products of ROSE: RS130, etc.).
LED| The LED lights up when power is applied.

How to Connect the Power Cord

  • This product includes a removable power cord. Connect the power cord to the power outlet after connecting the adapter power jack to the set.

Caution: When disconnecting the power cord, first disconnect the power jack from the main body and then from the outlet.

How to Connect the Device in Type-B Mode

  • When connecting a device to the USB hub with a type-B USB 3.0 cable, turn the mode switch to type-B mode.

How to Connect a USB Audio Input Device

  • As shown in the figure below, connect the cable to the connector type-B of the RSA720 and connect the USB cable type-A to a computer or other host USB output device.
  • For USB external device connection, please see the next chapter.

How to Connect an External USB Device (DAC, CDP, storage device, etc.)

  • You can connect a CDP, external DAC, or USB 2.0 storage device to the USB 2.0 port on the RSA720 as shown below.
  • The USB 3.0 port supports USB 2.0/USB 3.0 storage devices and other devices.

How to Connect the Device in SFP Mode

  • When connecting a device to the USB hub using an SFP L/C cable, first turn the mode switch on the side of the product to SFP mode, as shown in the picture.

How to Connect a USB 3.0 Fiber Optical Cable

As shown in the figure below, connect a fiber optical cable to the SFP connector of the RSA720 and connect the other side of the cable to a device that supports SFP optical terminals such as an RS130.
Caution: When using in SFP mode, the USB 3.0 port on the main body does not support USB 2.0 devices, so make sure to use only USB 3.0 devices.

  • Exchange and Return Due to Product Defects
    • For initial defects of the product that occurred without a cause attributable to the consumer within 15 days of receiving the product, if the defect is confirmed by collecting the product, it can be returned or exchanged for a new product.
