Commissioning

• Check all connections are tight. Plug in and test.
• Peel the adhesive backing off of the strips and stick in place.
• Your strips are now ready for use

Operating the remote control and replacing the battery

• There are various colour mode variations as shown below.
• To replace the battery, release the compartment from inside the remote control by pushing the lever at the bottom To replace the battery, release the compartment from inside the remote control by pushing the lever at the bottom the polarity is correct. Then slide the compartment back inside the remote control.

Layout

• This is a self-contained kit and cannot be extended
• The Aqualine LED’s are mounted on sticky tape  which can be stuck to most surfaces
• The Aqualine LED’s can be shortened to a minimum of 100mm or multiples of 100mm.
• Plan the desired layout of this fitting carefully, ensuring the cables will reach the distance between the LED driver and the Aqualine LED position.
• Avoid locating any cables in positions that would cause a hazard. Position cables and Aqualine LED’s away from areas where they may be at risk from being cut, trapped or damaged
• Cables in walls must be protected using a suitable conduit or plastic trunking.
• This product is IP44 rated. It should not be used in very wet areas.

Basic Installation

• Position the plug, remote control sensor and in-line LED driver next to the indoor mains outlet socket that the system will connect to. Do not plug-in at this stage.
• After deciding the layout of the Aqualine strip, ensure that the cable can connect when in the desired position
• It is possible for the Aqualine strip to be shortened. This can be done in multiples of 100mm. Look for the line on the strip with four copper pads, as shown below.
• Cut using a sharp pair of scissors. Do not cut anywhere else on the strip as this may cause the Aqualine strip to stop working. Seal the end with a small amount of silicone sealant.
• Connect the LED driver connector to the connector on the Aqualine strip. Ensure that the polarity is CV

Specification

• Dimensions: 10mm wide, 3mm high x 5000mm long
• Voltage: 240V – 50Hz
• LED Voltage: 12V d.c.

The Kit should contain

• 1 x in-line driver with UK 3 Pin Plug (0.5m mains cable and 1.5m Output cable)
• 1 x RGB Remote and Programmable Remote Control
• 1 x 5000mm strip

Warning

• The power supply is Double Insulated and does not require connection to an Earth circuit.
• The LED strips are Safety Extra Low Voltage and must not be earthed.
• Please read these instructions carefully before commencing any work.
• This unit must be fitted by a competent and qualified electrician
• Install in accordance with IEE Wiring regulations and current Building Regulations
• This system operates at Safety Extra Low Voltage (12V), via a LED driver. Never connect the light fittings directly to the mains without using a LED driver.
• when installing or maintaining this system. cannot be serviced. If damage occurs the part should be scrapped.

• Battery care: Always remove exhausted batteries from the remote control.
• Always insert the battery with the correct product is suitable for use by adults only.

• The mains plug must be situated indoors (e.g. house, garage, shed) in order to protect it from the elements.
• Do not exceed the LED driver load. LED drivers may require a minimum load to operate.
