SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else make sure to also include this manual. In case of damage caused by the user failing to follow the instructions in this manual, the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, negligent use, or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

  1. Warning: Potential risk of injuries from misuse.
  2. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
  3. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  4. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
  5. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  7. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
  8. Care shall be taken when handling the potato cutter, emptying the bowl, and cleaning.
  9. Before inserting the plug into the main socket, please check that the voltage and frequency comply with the specifications on the rating label.
  10. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
  11. Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.
  12. Do not immerse the appliance or the mains plug in water or other liquids. There is a danger to life due to electric shock!
  13. To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug. Do not pull the power cord.
  14. Do not touch the appliance if it falls into the water. Remove the plug from its socket, turn off the appliance and send it to an authorized service center for repair.
  15. Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
  16. Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause electric shock.
  17. Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
  18. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  19. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  20. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
  21. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  22. Do not put more than 0.8kg of potatoes or 0.36kg of vegetables into the machine. Do not let the machine work continuously for more than 3 minutes. Rest the machine for 2 minutes before the second operation.
  23. Make sure all the parts are in the correct position, otherwise the machine will not work.
  24. Do not use outdoors.
  25. The cutter dish is very sharp; take care when you clean it.
  26. Never open the machine when it is in operation.
  27. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which come in contact with food and operating times, please refer to the below paragraph of the manual.

BEFORE USE

  •  Before using the appliance for the first time clean the bowl, the cutter dish and the spinner with hot water.
  • Before each use, make sure the potato peeler is positioned on a clean/dry surface and that the machine is stabilized on its rubber feet.
  • Check that the switch knob is in position “OFF” before you plug in the appliance.
  • Place the bowl on the base station and the cutter dish (or the spinner) on the axis. Check that both parts are correctly placed.

Note: there are two safety switches in this appliance as below the pictures, please make sure both the bowl and the cover of the bowl have been assembled correctly, otherwise this appliance will not work.

USE

  1. For peeling potatoes:
  1. Make sure the switch knob is in position “OFF”.
  1.  Place the cutter dish in the middle of the bowl. Place the bowl onto the base station. Make sure the cutter dish fits properly.
  2.  Rinse/scrub the potatoes to get rid of dirt. Place potatoes (up to 0.8kg each time) on the cutter dish in the bowl. Do only add one layer and make some space between the potatoes. Reduce the amount if the potatoes are big or irregular in size. For better peeling results, please use potatoes in small round shapes.
  3. Fix the lid onto the bowl with lockers. Turn the switch knob to position “ ” and the appliance will start working. Please note that it will vibrate but the rubber feet will keep it in place during use.
  4. The appliance will take about 2 minutes to peel potatoes. Keep an eye on the progress through the transparent lid. Potatoes irregular in shape may take up more space and need a bit longer to peel. Do not allow the appliance to run for more than 3 minutes. After the appliance has finished peeling, turn the switch knob to position “OFF”, unplug the appliance, remove the lid and take out the potatoes carefully. Wash the potatoes with fresh water and remove any excess peeling with a small knife.

2. For drying vegetables:

  1. Make sure the switch knob is in position “OFF”.
  2. Place the spinner in the middle of the bowl. Place the bowl onto the base station. Make sure the spinner fits properly.
  3. Place washed vegetables (up to 0.36kg each time) into the spinner in the bowl. Make sure the fixing ring is firmly attached on the spinner.
  4. Fix the lid onto the bowl with lockers. Turn the switch knob to position “   ” and the appliance will start working. Please note that it will vibrate but the rubber feet will keep it in place during use.
  5.  The appliance will take about 40 seconds to dry the vegetables. Keep an eye on the progress through the transparent lid. Do not allow the appliance to run for more than 3 minutes. After the appliance has finished drying, turn the switch knob to position “OFF”, unplug the appliance, remove the lid and take out the vegetables carefully.

Note: Check that all parts are in the correct position before switching on, otherwise the machine will not function.

CARE AND CLEANING

  1. After each use, wash the bowl and cutter/spinner with fresh water.
  2. Before cleaning, always switch the appliance off and unplug the appliance from the main power supply.
  3. Do not immerse the power cable, plug, and peeler base in water or any other liquid.
  4. Do not use anything other than freshwater to clean the cutter/spinner and top lid.
  5. Never use sharp or abrasive cloths for cleaning.

Always keep your receipt, without the receipt you can’t claim any form of warranty. Damage caused by not following the instruction manual will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in inconsequential damages then we will not be liable. Neither can we hold responsible for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or if the instruction manual is not properly executed? Damage to accessories does not mean free replacement of the whole appliance. In such case please contact our service department. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts is always subject to a charge. Defects to consumables or parts subjected to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of said parts are not covered by the warranty and are to be paid.
