Thank you for purchasing the party 1 speaker VM-HW265.
To ensure correct operation, please read this manual carefully before use.

This product has been developed under the VIETA PRO quality standards. For over 60 years, since its foundation in 1954 by the Vieta brothers, Vieta has always been guided by the motto “Love and respect for the art of music”. It has thus achieved a privileged position in the electronics market, with constant effort and generous doses of passion.
The VIETA PRO models are based on professional sound standards, where quality, durability and sound are above those in commercial products of consumer electronics. They have been developed by the prestigious engineer “Jordi Hernandez”, with more than 40 years in the sound industry. Under his expert direction, the VIETA PRO models are manufactured with the most precise components, producing the purest VIETA PRO sound.

Safety Information

Please read this manual carefully before using the product. Keep it in a safe place for future reference.

a. There are high voltage zones inside this unit that can cause injuries. Please do not open the unit. In case of technical failure, please contact the authorized service center.
b. Never place the unit in the rain or in moist zones so as to avoid a fire or an electric shock.
c. This device uses a laser system. To prevent direct exposure to the laser beam, please do not open the unit or stare at the laser beam.
d. If technical maintenance is required, please contact the authorized service center.
e. If the supply cord is damaged in any way, please have it replaced by the manufacturer, supplier or a qualified electrician.

Caution

a. Do not place the unit on an unstable surface as it may fall and break or cause damage to people or pets.
b. Disconnect the unit from the mains before cleaning it. Do not use cleaning liquids or sprays. Use only a soft, damp cloth.
c. To avoid possible damage to the equipment, please unplug it during storms or when it will not be used for a long time.
d. Do not insert any object into the unit through the ventilation openings as this could cause a short circuit and start a fire. Do not pour liquid on the speaker.

Power On and charging

a. Fully charge the built-in battery before using for the first time, which will prolong the battery lifespan.
b. Built-in battery charging works on AC power only.
c. Check on LED display the battery icon to see the remaining battery level when it is turned on.
d. Fully charge of battery will indicate by LED on the top control panel of speaker. (RED: Charging / GREEN: Full Battery). When this LED will be on Green, user can start to use the device.
e. The device is not waterproof.
f. Remote control batteries are not included. It works with two AM batteries.
g. Battery icon on LED Display informs about whether the device has a charged or not, but it doesn’t show the level of the percentage of charge it has. It is very important to have the equipment for the minimum number of hours indicated below (in the specifications section) to be able to use the speaker powered by battery.

Important Information and Functions

(1)| IMPORTANT: Caution with the initial MIC. VOL (Remote Control).
RECOMMENDATION: to avoid damage into device, connect the MIC 1 before Power ON. Following
the recommendation, lower the volume or turn off the device before disconnect the microphone cable.

(3)| Microphone Volume;
Press MENU button 3 times until ‘CV shows on LED Display, and in this situation;
Left rotation knob: decrease MIC1 and MIC2 volume. Right rotation knob: increase MIC1 and MIC2 volume. (Max. Vol.: 15 / Min. Vol.: 0)
(4)| Left rotation knob: decrease main volume.
Right rotation knob: increase main volume.
(Max. Vol.: 32 / Min. Vol.: 0)
IMPORTANT: This volume doesn’t control MIC1 and MIC2 level (which can only modify through MIC. VOL settings on remote control).
(5)| You can record pressing ‘REC’ the Mic 1 and/or Mic 2 signal, into USB Flash / Micro TF Card. If the device doesn’t have a storage source connected, this recording cannot be performed. User can PAUSE the recording when tap on PLAY/PAUSE button.
User can STOP the recording when tap on REC button on Top PaneL
If user want to listen that’s record it, tap on REC PLAY on Remote ControL
When the user wants to make an audio recording, only MIC1/MIC2 is allowed to listen during this recording.
Respecting the intellectual property of all artists, this functionality doesn’t allow the registration of the other ports.
IMPORTANT: It’s important don’t place the microphone in front of speaker under any situation.
(6)| To choose each of these options, shortly press the MODE button.
Select input source to reproduce;
1.BLUE (Bluetooth, USB and Micro TF Card).
2.FM Radio.
3.Line (Line IN).
Bluetooth Mode: user can send an audio source through smartphone, tablet or laptop, performing
a device search and linking to that device. In this case search on your device for ‘Vieta Pro Party 1″

(7)| Equalization sound factory presets. User can choose between different sounds styles: (Pop), (Rock), (Jazz). (Classical) or (Flat) mode.

– B (Bass control)
Once you see on screen ‘I” or “Er. when rotate the main Volume knob, Treble or Bass effects will be from -9dB to +9dB.
•MIC Volume.
– CV (Control Volume) – EC (Echo Control)
Once you see on screen ‘CV or “EC, when rotate the main Volume knob, the Volume in microphones. from 0dB to 15413 or the Echo Effect, from 0dB to 10dB.
•Restore factory settings. Long press “MENU’ button to restore factory settings (delete all user settings modified)•
(9)| Different modes Disco Light.
When user press the Ught button, user can make changes to the configuration, doing long press to change the light mode or ON/OFF LED’s., shortly press to switch to get different color.
(10)| Repeat function; – Short press:
•First time press button: Repeat one song.
•Second time press button; Repeat loop playback the song in source storage. – Long press:
Allows move through FOLDERS available inside USB Flash / TF Card.
(11)| Microphone Priority;
This function activates talk-over mode.
Now, when you speak via microphone, your sound will override the sound playing under USB Flash / Micro TF Card / Bluetooth / Line IN Mode.
This action cannot be recorded in a recording.

T.W.S. (True Wireless Stereo) function

You can share from your speaker (MASTER) to another speaker (SLAVE) what is playing at the same time.
This second speaker (SLAVE) must be the same model.
If user want enable this function, need to follow the instructions:

1. Select and reproduce a song on your speaker (MASTER) under USB Flash / Line IN / Micro TF Card / Bluetooth / FM Radio. MIC 1, MIC 2 mode.
2. Go to the second speaker (now will be SLAVE speaker). When the song is playing on MASTER speaker, long press “(9) Play/Pause” button on SLAVE speaker.
3. LED Display will show “SLAU” and keep blinking, now it’s searching the “MASTER” or host speaker.
4. Once found MASTER, this new speaker (SLAVE speaker) will not blink and will connect automatically. At this time 2 pcs. speakers are playing the same song. Also, now the join speaker can operate: PLAY/PAUSE, Backward/Forward and volume control (now these two speakers works as main one).
5. If user wants disconnect the pairing mode, long press the PLAY/PAUSE button for finish it.

Note:

• Under USB Flash, Micro TF Card, Bluetooth Mode, the MASTER can control all functions, the assistant speaker can only control Backward, Fordward, Play/Pause, Volume options.
• Under Line IN Mode, the MASTER can control Volume options.

Remote Control

Short press: previous song.
– Long press: fast backward.

USB Flash / Micro TF Card / FM Radio / Bluetooth / Line IN Mode

Wireless Bluetooth (BT) Pairing Mode (with smartphone/laptop/tablet): Press MODE button on the unit or the remote control until BLUE is selected.

1. Put the smartphone/laptop/tablet within 20 meters;
2. Activate the Bluetooth features on your smartphone/laptop/tablet so that the cell phone starts to search for the Bluetooth device. Please refer to the users’ manual for details
3. Select the correct model “Vieta Pro Party V’ The device found by the cell phone;
4. Shortly press” “to play or pause music, Short press ”  ” or ”  ” key to select the previous or next track.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to disconnect (or unpairing) the smartphone / tablet / laptop after you have finished using the speaker and also if you want to pairing the speaker to another smartphone, tablet, laptop, because if you leave paired, the speaker will not be able to pairing with another source until they have disconnected this pairing.
IMPORTANT: Check that all devices that you want to link with the speaker (either Smartphone, tablet, computer) with an updated software or latest version, and the drivers of the Bluetooth card installed and working, to perform a pairing without problems between your devices and the speaker. Also check that you can link your Smartphone with your computer to ensure its correct operation.

LINE IN mode:
Press MODE button on the unit or the remote control until LINE is selected. Play the music of the device connected to the LINE input.

FM RADIO mode:
Press MODE button on the unit or the remote control until FM is selected. Press ” “key and the speaker will auto search, then speaker will read signal from 87.5 MHz till 108 MHz, if any frequency has signal, the unit will remember it and store it as a channel. After the searching is done, shortly press ” ” key to the previous channel, Shortly press ” ” key to the next channel.

IMPORTANT: It’s very important to follow the steps to search for available frequencies in the location where the speaker will be used, since it stores the radio channels with the highest quality to avoid damages in the device. Therefore, if the radio doesn’t work, please tune the channels again (following the steps described above) to solve possible problems. Once the FM Radio tuning has been carried out, the user will be able to navigate through the frequencies following the instructions described above.

USB Mode/Micro TF Card:

1. After start up, press MODE to select BLUE on LED Display and insert the USB Flash device or Micro TF Card . The unit will automatically read and play the music in the USB device or Micro TF Card. When device detect USB or TF Card source, show on led display the source where come the signal. If you have both sources connected, the device reproduces USB device media. If user wants to reproduce TF Card, need to do shortly press MODE to select that.
2. Press ” ” key shortly to pause or play.
3. Shortly press ” ” key to the previous song.
4. Shortly press ” ” key to the next song.

IMPORTANT: Its very important to know USB Flash has priority over other sources. If we have media playing from TF Card, and user insert USB Flash, the media will stop as USB Flash will automatically play media.
