We are delighted that you have chosen this battery-operated hand-held vacuum
cleaner.
Before using the device for the fi rst time, please read the instructions
carefully and keep them for future reference. If the device is given to
someone else, these instructions should also be handed over with it.
They form an integral part of the device.
The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information
in these instructions is not complied with.

Intended Use
-
This device is designed for vacuum cleaning normal household dust.
On no account should the device be used to suck up the following:
– liquids or wet substances (e. g. wet carpet shampoo)
– glowing ash, cigarette ends, matches, etc.
– infl ammable or explosive substances
– very fi ne dust (e. g. concrete dust), ash or toner
– pointed, hard objects such as large pieces of broken glass -
The device is for personal domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applications.

The device should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.

The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear..
Safety instructions
- This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and / or knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply with the relevant safety precautions.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised.
- Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the mains adapter.
- The device must always be switched off when it is not being used and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning the device.
- Never immerse the device, the charger or the mains adapter in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
- Only ever charge up the rechargeable battery using the charging station and the mains adapter supplied with the device. Do not use the charging station or mains adapter supplied with the device to charge up any other devices.
- In the interests of your own safety, you should inspect the device for damage each time before you use it. The device may only be used if it has no visible signs of damage! If the device or the mains adapter of the device are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person (e. g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
DANGER – Risk of Electric Shock!
- Use and store only in closed rooms.
- Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
- Never touch the charging station and the mains adapter with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.
- Never suck up liquids. Do not pour liquids into the dust container. Keep the motor unit away from moisture or wet conditions!
- If the device is to be used as a hand-held vacuum cleaner for cleaning a car, ensure that the device is not exposed to rain or moisture.
WARNING – Danger of Injury!
- Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
- Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains adapter cable is always kept out of the reach of small children and animals.
- Danger of burns! If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
- Danger of becoming stuck! Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fi ngers and all other body parts away from the nozzles of the device. They could become stuck to the device. Should the vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
- Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connected mains adapter does not present a trip hazard.
WARNING – Danger of Fire!
- Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable substances or poisonous and explosive fumes.
- Do not use the wall bracket with charging station in the vicinity of highly fl ammable materials (curtains, textiles, etc.).
- Do not cover the device during operation or charging in order to prevent it from catching fi re. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that these do not become clogged.
- In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the fl ames with a fi reproof blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher..
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property

Only connect the mains adapter to a socket with safety contacts that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.

Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket if a fault occurs during charging or before a thunderstorm.

When you pull it out of the socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never the cable!

Make sure that the mains adapter cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wrap the cable around the mains adapter (danger of the cable breaking).

The device should only be used if it has been completely and correctly assembled!
The dust container, the cyclone insert and the motor fi lters must be inserted and must not be damaged! If dirt were to get inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor. -
Protect the device from heat, naked fl ames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.

Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.

Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the device, the mains adapter or the cable of the mains adapter.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property from Batteries
- Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data.
- Remove a dead battery from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before a new battery is inserted.
- The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or shortcircuited.

- The turbo nozzle (9) is suitable for both carpets and hard fl oors. It has a rotating brush to make it easier to pick up hair and fl uff.
- The crevice nozzle (13) is suitable for upholstery, cleaning the inside of cars and for all nooks and crannies that cannot be reached with other nozzles.
- The brush nozzle (15) is suitable for all uneven objects, furniture, lamp shades, profi les and skirting boards, window ledges, etc.
- The nozzle adapter (14) is needed to attach the crevice nozzle and the brush nozzle.
- The wall bracket with integrated charging station (10) is for space-saving storage of the device and to charge the battery.
Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
- Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
- Attach the wall bracket with charging station (10) (see the “Attaching Wall Bracket with Charging Station” chapter).
- Charge up the battery (4) (see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
Attaching the Wall Bracket with Charging Station
PLEASE NOTE!
- Use the fastening material supplied to hang up the wall bracket with charging station. If you are unsure whether the fastening material supplied is suitable for the wall, seek advice from a specialist stockist.
- Hang the wall bracket with charging station in a secure and solid place.
- Before drilling, ensure that there are no pipes or cables behind the intended drilling point.
- Drill holes at the correct distance into the wall and place dowels in them.
- Screw the screws into the dowels. They should protrude by approx. 5 mm out of the wall.
- Hang the wall bracket with charging station in the screws.
Charging Up the Battery
- It is essential that you charge up the battery (4) fully before you fi rst use the device in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. It takes up to 5 hours to charge up the battery.
- The battery status is indicated by a battery symbol with three green bars in the battery status display (1). When only the last bar is red, the battery’s charge is low and the battery should be recharged.
- Switch off the device and remove the battery as follows: Press the release button on the battery and pull the battery out of the device at the same time.
- Before inserting the battery in the charging station, check whether the contacts are clean and clean them if necessary.
- Insert the battery into the charging station (10). The two contacts on the battery must press against the two contacts on the charging station and the battery must be heard to engage in place.
- Plug the barrel connector of the mains adapter (17) into the connecting socket (6) on the charging station.
- Connect the mains adapter to a properly installed, easily accessible plug socket. The green operating lamp (16) and the red charge control lamp (18) will light up. The battery is being charged.
- When only the green operating lamp is still lit, the battery is fully charged.
- First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then disconnect the barrel connector from the charging station.
- Press the release button on the battery and pull the battery out of the charging station.
- Insert the battery into the device. The battery must be heard to engage in place.
Assembly
PLEASE NOTE!
-
Always switch off the device before replacing any accessories. Attaching / Removing the Turbo Nozzle and Extension Tube
No nozzle adapter (14) is required for the turbo nozzle (9) and the extension tube (11). -
Attaching: Put the extension tube directly onto the suction opening (8). The catch must be heard to engage in place. Attach the turbo nozzle to the extension tube in the same way.
The turbo nozzle can not be directly attached to the suction opening.
Detaching: Press the release button on the extension tube or on the turbo
nozzle and pull the extension tube or turbo nozzle out.
Attaching / Removing Nozzles
With the exception of the turbo nozzle (9), all nozzles are attached with the
aid of the nozzle adapter (14).
- Attaching: Plug the nozzle adapter into the suction opening (8) or the extension tube (11). Plug the nozzle you want onto the nozzle adapter.
- Detaching: Pull the nozzle and nozzle adapter out of the suction opening or the extension tube.
Removing / Inserting the Dust Container
- Removing: Untwist the dust container (7) clockwise. This releases it from the motor unit (3) and it can be removed.
- Inserting: Insert the dust container into the motor unit. Lightly turn until the locking lugs on the dust container sit correctly in the recesses on the motor unit. Rotate the dust container clockwise to fi x it into the motor unit. The release button on the dust container must be located below the suction opening (8) after it has been attached.
Operation
PLEASE NOTE!
- Ensure that there are no larger and / or sharp objects on the surface which is to be cleaned.
- Note the MAX marking on the dust container. If during use the marking is reached, empty the dust container. Empty and clean the dust container after each use. The motor fi lters must also be regularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
- Switch the device off after each surface has been cleaned as this will considerably increase the operating time on each battery charge. Charge up the battery after use (see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
- Select an accessory as required (see the “Device Overview” and “Accessories” chapters) and attach it to the device (see the “Assembly” chapter).
- Press the On / Off switch (2) to switch on the device. The device will start vacuuming immediately.
- Move the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned.
- After vacuuming, switch off the device by pressing the On / Off switch.
- Empty and clean the dust container (7) (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not immerse the motor fi lter in water or rinse it under running water to prevent damage to the motor fi lter. They cannot be washed by machine, put in the dishwasher or tumble dried.
- Accessories that are cleaned with water must be completely dry when they are inserted back into the device!
- Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the housing. They could damage the surfaces.
The motor fi lters may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does not have any adverse effect on function.
Emptying the Dust Container
- Remove the dust container (7) from the motor unit (3) (see the “Assembly” chapter – “Removing / Inserting the Dust Container”).
- Hold the dust container over a dustbin
- Pull the catch of the bottom fl ap (19) away from the dust container slightly. The bottom fl ap will open and the dirt will fall out.
- To close it, press the bottom fl ap onto the dust container. The catch must be heard to engage in place.
- Insert the dust container into the motor unit (see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).
Cleaning the Filter
- Empty the dust container (7) (see “Emptying the Dust Container”). Do not close the bottom fl ap (19).
- Remove the foam fi lter from the dust container.
- Reach into the dust container. Turn the fi lter holder (21) a little until it is released and can be removed.
- Pull the HEPA fi lter (20) out of the fi lter holder.
- Tap out the fi lter and the fi lter holder and clean them with a soft brush if necessary.
- Rinse the fi lter holder with clear water. IMPORTANT: Do not use water to clean the HEPA fi lter or the foam fi lter!
- Wipe out the dust container with a damp cloth if necessary.
- Let all parts dry completely in the air before you reassemble them. IMPORTANT:
Never assemble wet or damp components or attach them to the motor unit (3)! The device is assembled in the reverse order.
Cleaning the Motor Unit and Accessories
- Wipe off the motor unit (3), the extension tube (11), the crevice nozzle (13), the brush nozzle (15) and the nozzle adapter (14) with a soft, moist cloth as needed. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
- Regularly remove hair and fl uff from the nozzles and brushes.
Cleaning the Turbo Nozzle
To make it easier to clean, the brush can be removed from the turbo nozzle (9):
- Slide the latch fastener on the bottom of the turbo nozzle towards the small wheel on the turbo nozzle.
- Open the latch and remove.
- Take out the brush and remove any contamination.
- Reinsert the brush. When you do this, fi rst insert the end with the star-shaped recess.
- Insert the latch and slide the latch fastener back in place.
Storage
- Store the device in a cool, dry place which is protected from direct sunlight and is out of the reach of children and animals.
- To make it easier to store, hang it with the suction opening (8) facing downwards in the wall bracket which is supplied with the device.
If the device is not going to be used for a prolonged period, remove the battery to be on the safe side (see the “Charging Up the Battery” chapter).

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so
that it can be recycled.
This article is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this article as
normal domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an
offi cially approved waste disposal company.
The battery should be removed prior to disposal of the device and disposed of
separately from the device. To protect the environment, non-rechargeable and
rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with regular household waste,
but must be taken to suitable collection points.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

• It is also possible that some smaller items will remain stuck to the carpet or will be too big / heavy to be picked up by the device. Remove these foreign objects by hand.
Dust escapes from the device during cleaning.
| • Check whether the dust container, the filter
holder ( 21 ) and the motor filters have been inserted correctly and adjust the fit if necessary.
• Check whether the dust container is closed.
• Are the motor filters heavily clogged? Clean them in accordance with the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter.
• Are the motor filters worn or damaged? Order and replace new motor filters via customer service.
The battery status dis- play ( 1 ) does not light up when the device is connected to the mains power.
| • Is the mains adapter ( 12 ) plugged correctly into the plug socket and is the barrel connector plugged correctly into the connecting socket ( 17 ) of the charging station ( 10 )?
• Is the plug socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of the mains connection.
Unusual odour| • A new odour is normal when the device is used for the first time; it disappears after a while.
