SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • For indoor use only.
  • Do not connect two or more timers together.
  • Do not connect appliances that need a current of more than 8 A.
  • Do not connect appliances with an output of more than 1800 W.
  • Always check that the plug on the connected appliance is fully inserted into the socket on the timer.
  • If the timer needs cleaning, unplug it from the mains and wipe it with a dry cloth.
  • Do not immerse the timer in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not connect heaters and other similar equipment to the timer.
  • Check that the appliance to be controlled is switched off before plugging it into the timer.

USE

  1. Plug the appliance into the timer.
  2. Plug the timer into a power point. The timer is in auto mode, which means it starts when it goes dark and switches off when it gets light.
  3. Start the connected appliance.
  4. Press the AUTO button to activate auto mode, which means the timer starts when it goes dark and switches off when it gets light.
  5. Press the button for the required countdown time (1H, 2H, 4H, 6H or 8H). The timer starts and the connected appliance starts when it goes dark and switches off automatically when the set time has counted down. If it gets light during the countdown time the photocell switches off the connected appliance.
  6. Press the switch to start/stop the connected appliance manually, whatever the actual setting.
  7. Pressing a button for another countdown period during a countdown stops the countdown and the new countdown starts.

NOTE:

  • The photocell must be placed so that it is exposed to daylight for the light control function to work properly. The photocell must not be covered or exposed to direct sunlight.
  • To avoid unintentional activation, do not place the photocell where it is exposed to artificial light.
  • If the photocell detects bright light during the countdown the timer switches the connected appliance off automatically until it goes dark again.
