Operation
RF FOB 8 button switch panel features an integrated 400 Mhz Transmitter that wirelessly sends messages to a receiver device. Each RF FOB has a green “Transmit LED” located at the center of the RF FOB. This LED should turn on whenever a button is being pressed or held, indicating that the RF FOB is transmitting. The messages sent out by each RF FOB has a unique identifier which is used to distinguish them from one another. The message sent out when pressing a button also indicates which button is being pressed to allow the receiving device to perform a unique action for each button. The wireless receiver device only acknowledges messages from RF FOB that are paired with it. RF FOB transmission is indicated by the Transmit LED. To pair RF FOB 8 button switch panel with the receiving device, put the receiving device into pairing mode, and pair the RF FOB to the receiving device, following the instructions for the receiver device.
Troubleshooting
If the RF FOB is not operating as expected, watch the Transmit LED and press
one of the buttons to see if it comes on. If the LED does not come on, check
the power source. Replace the CR2032 battery and try operating the RF FOB
again. If the Transmit LED still does not turn on when pressing a button after
troubleshooting the power source, the RF FOB has failed and needs to be
replaced.
If the RF FOB does not operate as expected but the Transmit LED does come on
when pressing one of the buttons, there is likely a problem with the receiver
device. Refer to the documentation of the receiver device being used for more
detailed instructions on troubleshooting and pairing procedures.
