SAFETY & WARNINGS

INTENDED USE

NETTA Design is for domestic and indoor use only. This product is not intended for use by people who have lack of experience and knowledge or have reduced ability, or sensory and metal capabilities. Keep supervised when groups of people use this item.

REGULAR CHECKUPS

  • Check cables every time before plugging into a socket, make sure power cables are not burst or snapped and that  the power-plug has no damage.
  • Check all the knobs are functional correctly.

GENERAL CAUTIONS

  • Always follow this instruction manual and go through all the safety checks.
  • This is not toy – do not let children play with it.
  • DO NOT modify this product in any way.
  • Before using an electric powered appliance, check the rating label and voltage information on this manual, or the rating label on back of the machine.
  • This product wattage is 1500W, ensure this device is connected to a power socket.
  • Always connect the device to a socket with Residual Current Device (RCD) fitted with your home circuits.
  • If you are unsure, please seek a certified election for advice.
  • The appliance must not be immersed in liquid.
  • Do not store any materials other than the manufacturers recommended accessories in this oven when not in use.
  • Always wear protective, insulated oven gloves when inserting or removing items from a hot oven.
  • This appliance has a tempered, safety glass door. The glass is stronger than ordinary glass and more resistant to breakage. Tempered glass can still break around the edges. Avoid scratching the door surface or nicking the edges.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • The appliance is off when the timer control button is in the off position.

RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY

  • DO NOT use the appliance other than for the intended use.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces.
  • Use extreme caution when removing the tray, racks or disposing of hot grease/liquids.
  • Do not put oversized foods or metal utensils in this oven as it may cause a fire or an electric shock.
  • DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
  • If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service agent or a qualified technician in order to avoid a hazard.
  • The use of accessories is not recommended by the manufacturer as they may cause injuries to persons.
  • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
  • Make sure all paper, cardboard and plastic have been removed before cooking food.

OPERATING THE PRODUCT

Before using for the first time:

  • Make sure that the oven is unplugged, and the time control is in the off position.
  • Wash all the accessories in hot, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
  • Thoroughly dry all accessories and re-assemble in the oven. Plug the oven into the outlet and the oven is ready to use.
  • After re-assembling the oven, we recommend that you run it at the max power for approx. 15 minutes to eliminate any packing residue that may remain after shipping. This will also remove all traces of odor that are initially present.

Please note: Initial start-up operation may result in smell and smoke. This is normal and harmless. It is due to the protective substance applied to the
heating elements in the factory.

Using your mini oven:

  • Please familiarize yourself with the following functions and accessories:
  • Temperature Control: 0°C-230°C. Turn the knob to your desired temperature.
  • Time Control: To activate the timer, turn the knob clockwise. The bell will ring at the end of the programmed time.
  • Bake Tray: For use in broiling and roasting meat, poultry, fish, and other food.
  • Crumb Tray: Allows you to pick up the crumbs.

CAUTION : Always use extreme care when removing bake tray. wire rack or a any hot container from a hot oven. Always use the rack handle, or an oven mitt when removing hot items from the oven.

HOW TO BROIL

Operation:
a) Insert the removable bake rack with food and bake tray.
b) Keep the glass door half-open.
c) Turn the heat selector knob to Broil .
d) Select the temperature.
e) Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time
f) When finished broiling, turn the timer to “OFF position to switch off the oven.

HOW TO TOAST

Operation:
a) Set the Temperature to highest.
b) Place the removable rack into the desired position
c) Turn the function control knob to Toast .
d) Place food to be toasted on the wire rack.
e) Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time.
f) When finished toasting. turn the timer to “OFF position to switch off the oven.
Note: Wire Rack should be positioned in the middle of the oven with the indentations pointing down.

HOW TO BAKE

Operation:
Please note that BAKE function only use bottom heating elements.
a) Place the removable rack into the desired position.
b) Insert the bake tray and close the oven door.
c) Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time.
d) Turn the heater selector knob to Bake .
e) Select the temperature.
f) When finished baking, turn the timer to “OFF position to switch off the oven.

Using your hotplates

Before using your cooker for the first time. be sure to:

  1. Read all of the instructions included in the manual.
  2. Make sure that the cooker is unplugged and the function controller is to the “OFF” position.
  3. Thoroughly dry all accessories and re-assemble in cooker, plug cooker into outlet and you are ready to use your new cooker.

Left Hotplate (1000W) Operation:

  • Place food to be cooked on the hot plate.
  • Turn the temperature controller knob to the desired setting.
  • When cooking is complete, turn the controller to “OFF”

Right Hotplate (600W)

  • Place food to be cooked on the hot plate.
  • Turn the temperature controller knob to the desired setting.
  • When cooking is complete, turn the controller to “OFF”

Positioning of the Wire Racks
Cookies — Use bottom and middle Support Guides.
Layer Cakes — Use bottom Support Guide only (bake one at a time).
Pies — Use bottom and middle Support Guides.

CLEANING

Your oven features a continuous clean coating that automatically cleans itself during normal operation. Any spattering that occurs while cooking that comers into contact with the continuous coating is oxidized while the oven is in operation.

  • Do not use steel wool scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or scrape the walls with a metal utensil as this may damage the coating.
  • If desired, wipe the walls with a damp sponge and mild detergent.
  • All accessories should be washed in hot soapy water or can be cleaned in a dishwasher. The door can be wiped with a damp sponge and wiped dry with a paper or cloth towel.
  • Do not immerse the product in water.
  • Switch off the device whenever you are not using it.
