GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Read, understand, and carefully follow all warnings, instructions, and procedures on the treadmill and in the user’s manual before using the treadmill. Keep these instructions.

Before starting any exercise program, consult your doctor. It is particularly important for people over the age of 35 years, people who have a history of health problems, or if you haven’t practiced sports for several years.

Set up and operate the treadmill on a solid level surface

Keep children away.

If you experience dizziness, nausea, chest pain, or any other abnormal symptom, stop exercising immediately and consult a doctor.

WARNING! Heart rate monitoring systems may be inaccurate. Over-exercise may result in serious injury or death. If you feel faint or in any pain, stop exercising immediately.

Care should be used when mounting or dismounting the treadmill.

After exercising, wait for the treadmill to stop completely before getting off. After use, remove the safety key from the console and store it in a place that is inaccessible to children.

If you want to get off urgently, grab the support rails and place your feet on the foot rails.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Your home’s electrical supply must be in a good state of repair and comply with current standards. This machine should be used with a 220 volt/16 amp circuit (minimum). Ensure that no other piece of equipment shares the same circuit.
- For your safety, your treadmill must be connected to a properly fitted plug with an earth connection that complies with current applicable regulations. If in doubt, get a qualified electrician to check that the treadmill is properly installed. Do not modify the plug supplied with your treadmill in any way.
- If you need an extension, only use one with an earth connector and a cable with three 2.5 mm2 wires, that is no more than 1.5 meters long.
- Do not use a power strip
- WARNING! Never use this machine with a damaged electrical cable or plug or if it has been in contact with water.
- Never leave the treadmill plugged in without supervision. Your treadmill must be stored indoors in a dry place, away from moisture and adequately ventilated, on a flat, level surface. Do not operate electrically powered treadmills in damp or wet locations.
- You must leave space around your treadmill of 200cm at the back and 100cm at the sides.
- Always position and store the power cable away from heavy traffic areas.
- To minimize noise and reduce the impact on the ground, use a floor protection mat
- It is the user’s responsibility to inspect and if necessary tighten all parts before using the product. Replace any worn or faulty parts immediately.
- The underside of the belt will have been lubricated during manufacturing. During transportation, some lubricant may have been transferred onto the top of the belt and the cardboard. If there is any lubricant on top of the belt, dean the belt using a cloth and non-abrasive cleaning product.
- Always stop the machine using the master switch.
- Immediately after each use and prior to any cleaning, assembly, or maintenance operation, turn off the master switch and disconnect the treadmill from the mains.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
-
If you are a beginner, start by training for several days at a low speed, without overexerting yourself, and taking rest pe- nods if necessary. Gradually increase the number or duration of sessions. During your workout, be sure to ventilate the room in which the treadmill is located.

Keep firearm-up: Gradual effort starting from 10 minutes: To maintain or rehabilitate, work out every day for at least 10 minutes. This type of exercise helps work the muscles and joints gently and can be used as a warm-up before more strenuous physical activity. To increase muscle tone in the legs, choose a greater incline and increase the duration of the exercise.

Aerobic exercise for weight loss: Moderate effort for 35 to 60 minutes: This type of training is an effective way of burning calories. The. re is no point in pushing yourself unduly; for the best results, the most important thing is the frequency of exercise (at least 3 times a week) and the duration of the session (35 to 60 minutes). Exercise at average intensity (moderate effort so you are not out of breath).
In order to lose weight, as well as take regular physical exercise, it’s essential to follow a balanced diet. -
Improve your stamina: Sustained effort for 20 to 40 minutes: This type of exercise helps strengthen the heart muscle and improves your respiratory health. Exercise at least 3 times a week at a steady pace (rapid breathing). As your training progresses, you will be able to maintain this effort for longer and at an improved pace.
Training at a faster pace (anaerobic and in the red zone) is reserved for athletes and requires special preparation. -
Cooldown: After each training session, walk slowly for a few minutes to bring your body gradually to rest. This cool-down phase helps your cardiovascular and respiratory systems, blood circulation and muscles return to normal. It also helps to eliminate side effects such as the accumulation of lactic acid which is one of the major causes of muscle pain (cramps and stiffness).

Stretching: y You are advised to perform stretching movements after each session in order to relax your muscles and recover more effectively.t
MAINTENANCE OF YOUR TREADMILL
It is essential to conduct regular maintenance checks in order to ensure optimum performance and long service life for your treadmill. Please read and abide by the instructions set out below. If the treadmill is not maintained in the manner stated, this could lead to excessive wear and tear and may also cause permanent damage. For all kinds of maintenance, disconnect all power before servicing the treadmill. If you have any questions, contact your Decathlon store or visit decathlon.com
MAINTENANCE after each use
Pull the plug out of the socket. Inspect all the external parts of the
treadmill and ensure they are properly fastened. Worn or damaged components
shall be replaced immediately or the treadmill removed from service until the
repair is made. Only manufacturer-supplier or approved components shall be
used to maintain and repair the treadmill.
Cleaning:
-
Dust and sweat can quickly damage your treadmill. It is recommended to carefully dean the latter after each use.

Turn off your treadmill and unplug it.
-
Apply a small amount of mild, all-purpose cleaning product to a cloth made of 100% cotton, and remove the dust and stains from the ramps, the upright
supports, the footrests, the body, and the motor cap. -
Do not use any cleaning product under the running belt.
-

cleaning products. -
Ensure that the running belt is properly centered and sufficiently taut. If it is, do not make any adjustments. If it needs adjusting, refer to the instructions below.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
- Lubricating the running belt:
- It is advisable to lubricate your treadmill in order to limit the amount of friction between the running belt and the deck. No lubrication is necessary if traces of silicone are present on the inner side of the running belt or on the deck (and the surface is damp and slightly greasy).
- Turn off your treadmill and unplug it.
- Lift the edges of the running belt and coat the inner surface with 5 to 10m1 of silicone.*
- Plug your treadmill in again.
- Make the belt rotate at a speed of 4 km/h (2.5 mph), with no one on it, for 10 to 20 seconds.
- Your treadmill is ready for use!
- *Please note that if you use too much silicone, you could harm the proper functioning of your treadmill (risk of skidding). For your purchases of lubricant, please contact your usual DECATHLON store or www.decathlon.com.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
- Change the running belt after every 500 hours of use or
- Inspect the motor and the conveyor belt after every 600
- Changing the rollers every 600 hours or 3600km of use.
- Change the running deck after every 700 hours of use or 3000 km hours of use or 3600 km 4200 km
TROUBLESHOOTING
The treadmill will not turn on:
- Check that the power cord is plugged into a wall socket in is properly grounded. If you need an extension lead, use the treadmill.
- Check the switch on the frame of the treadmill near the working condition (to check if the wall socket is working, plug in a lamp or other electrical device to check).
- Check that the power cord is plugged into a wall socket that only has a 3-core, 2,5 mm2 (14 gauge) cable that is no longer than 1.5 m (5 ft).

The treadmill turns off during use:
- Make sure the power cord is correctly plugged into the wall socket and the back of your treadmill.
- Remove and reinsert the console safety key.
The running belt slows down when walked on:

If you need an extension lead, use only a 3-core, 2,5 mm2 cable that is no longer than 1.5 m. Do not use a power strip.

If the running belt is too tight, the performance of the treadmill may decrease and the running belt may become
damaged. • Remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. -
Using the hex key, turn the running belt centering and tensioning screws anticlockwise a quarter turn. When the running belt is properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the running belt 2 to 3 cm above the deck. Ensure the running belt remains centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the safety key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes.
The treadmill makes a noise:
-
Rubbing noise: Check that the running belt is properly centered (the belt must not rub against the sides). Check that the running belt is properly tightened (the belt must not slip).
The running belt is no longer centered: -
Grinding noise: Check, and if necessary, tighten all the external parts of the running belt.
The running belt is no longer centered:
Locate the color indicators on the back of your treadmill.
If you see red, the belt needs to be re-centered. This helps protect the
running belt and avoids unexpected shutdowns.
Run your treadmill at 4km/h (2.5 mph) and stand at the back of the machine.
The belt is offset to the left: Turn the left adjustment screw clockwise
a half turn.
The belt is offset to the right: Turn the right adjustment screw
clockwise a half turn.
Leave your treadmill running until the belt repositions itself (1-2 minutes)
and repeat the operation if necessary. However, be careful not to overtighten
the belt.
The running belt stops while running
The running belt is a wearing part that becomes loose over time. Re-tighten it
as soon it begins to slip (sliding sensation, jerks in speed).
Turn the 2 adjustment screw clockwise a half turn.
Repeat the operation if necessary, but be careful not to overtighten the belt.
The belt is properly tightened if you can lift the edges 2 to 3 cm on each
side
ERROR CODES
El, E2, E4, E5, E6, E8, E10, El 1, E12, E13, E14, E15, E16: Contact the after- sales service (see the last page of your user manual ).
- E3 Check that none of the parts are impeding contact with the movement of the belt. If the problem persists, contact the after-sales service.
- E7 Have your electricity supply checked by a professional then contact the after-sales service.
- E9 Unfold your treadmill. If the problem persists, contact the after-sales service.
- E17 Turn off your treadmill and then turn it on again. If the problem persists, contact the after-sales service.
