Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before using the screwdriver, make sure to read and understand the user manual.
  2. Ensure that the charger is disconnected from the power supply when not in use to prevent any risk of electric shock.
  3. Do not touch the uninsulated portion of the output connector or uninsulated battery terminal to avoid electric shock.
  4. It is important to save and refer to the instructions frequently, and also share them with others who may use the screwdriver.
  5. When loaning the screwdriver to someone, provide them with the user manual as well.
  6. Avoid exposing the charger to wet or damp conditions.
  7. Only use attachments that are recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
  8. Ensure that the charger plug has the same number, size, and shape as the plug on the charger.
  9. Check that the extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition before using it with the charger.
  10. Do not operate the charger with a damaged cord or plug.
  11. Use safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating the screwdriver to protect your eyes from possible injury.
  12. Familiarity with the product should not make you careless. Always exercise caution while using the screwdriver.
  13. The screwdriver can be used for driving small screws (1-2), driving screws into soft material (3-4), and driving screws into soft and hard materials (5-7).
  14. Follow the instructions provided in the user manual for proper operation and adjustment of torque.
  15. Make sure to charge the battery for 10-12 hours before initial use.

SPECIAL SAFETY RULES

  • Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where the fastener may contact hidden wiring. Cutting accessory contacting a «live» wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool «live» and could give the operator an electric shock.

CHARGER SAFETY

  • Do not expose charger to wet or damp conditions.
  • Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the batter y charger manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injuries to person.
  • To reduce risk of damage to charger body and cord, p ull b y charger plug rather than cord when disconnecting charger.
  • Make sure cord is located so that it will not be stepped on, tr ipped o ver, or otherwise subjected to damage and stress.
  • An e xtension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessar y. Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shoc k. If extension cord must be used, make sure:
    • That pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, size and shape as those of plug on charger.
    • That extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition.
  • Do not operate charger with a damaged cord or plug. If damaged, have it replaced immediately by a qualified serviceman.
  • Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified serviceman.
  • Do not disassemble charger ; tak e it to a qualified serviceman when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassemb ly ma y result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
  • To reduce risk of electr ic shoc k, unplug the charger from outlet before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.
  • Disconnect charger from power supply when not in use.
  • Risk of electric shock. Do not touch uninsulated portion of output connector or uninsulated battery terminal.
  • Save these instr uctions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others who ma y use this unit. If y ou loan someone this unit, loan them these instructions also.

OPERATION

APPLICATIONS

You may use this product for the purposes listed below:

  • Driving screws with screwdriver bits
  • Light-duty drilling

TO CHARGE (Fig. 2)
When charging the screwdriver, a red charge light will illuminate the handle of the screwdriver. This red charge light will go off when the screwdriver is fully charged.

  • Insert charger plug into input jack making sure it is properly connected.
  • Charger can be used with a normal household voltage of 230 V, 50Hz, AC only.
  • Connect the charger to the power supply.
  • After normal usage, a minimum of 10-12 hours of charging time is required to fully recharge the screwdriver.
  • Do not place the charger in an area of extreme heat or cold. It will work best at normal room temperature.
  • Remove the product from the charger once it is fully charged and ready for use.

WARNING
Battery products are always in operating condition. Therefore, the switch should always be locked when not in use or carrying at your side.

ADJUSTABLE TORQUE CLUTCH
This screwdriver is equipped with an adjustable torque clutch for driving different types of screws into different materials. The proper setting depends on the type of material and the size of the screw you are using.

ADJUSTING TORQUE (Fig. 3)
There are twelve torque indicator settings located on the front of the screwdriver.

  • Rotate the adjustment ring to the desired setting, aligning the number on the adjustment ring with the arrow on the housing.
  1. For driving small screws
  2. For driving screws into soft material.
  3. For driving screws into soft and hard materials
  4. For driving screws into hardwood
  5. For driving large screws For full power applications

DIRECTION OF ROTATION SELECTOR (FORWARD/REVERSE/CENTER LOCK) (Fig. 4)
The direction of bit rotation is reversible and is controlled by a selector located above the switch trigger. With the screwdriver held in normal operating position, the direction of rotation selector should be positioned to the left of the switch trigger f or f orward motion. The direction is reversed when the selector is to the right of the switch trigger. Setting the switch trigger in the OFF (center lock) position helps reduce the possibility of accidental starting when not in use. To stop the screwdriver, release the switch trigger and allow the collet to come to a complete stop.

QUICK CHANGE CHUCK (Fig. 5)
A quick change chuck mounted on the screwdriver is easy for inserting or removing the bits. To insert a bit, insert the bit into the collet till lock. To remove a bit, simply pull the sleeve of collet forward.

SPINDLE LOCK
The screwdriver spindle is locked when the On/Off switch is not pressed. This enables screws to be screwed in, even when the battery is empty.

GRIP ZONE
A soft grip reduces the danger of slipping and thereby improves the grip on the tool and handling. At the same time, the r ubber coating achieves a vibration-reducing effect.

LED WORK LIGHT (Fig. 6)
The screwdriver has a built-in LED work light. This feature is convenient when working in close or tight areas where additional light is needed. Whenever the switch trigger is depressed, the LED worklight will illuminate.
NOTE: During normal operation, if the LED work light will not illuminate, charge the screwdriver.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.

WARNING
Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during product operation or when blowing dust. If the operation is dusty, also wear a dust mask.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

WARNING
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal injury.

Do not open the battery yourself. There is a danger of short circuit. Only the parts shown on the parts list are intended to be repaired or replaced by the customer. All other parts should be replaced at an Authorized Service Center.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Recycle raw materials instead of disposing of as waste. The machine, accessories, and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
