  • 5in1: BT handsfree + FM transmitter + double USB fast charger + music player + battery voltmeter
  • Listen to music and make phone calls on the car radio
  • Telephone conversation without touching the phone
  • Answer or reject incoming calls, dial the call number
  • Scroll to the next track, remote control the music player
  • Double USB fast charger: 3,4A max
  • Measures the vehicle battery voltage
  • You can check the condition of the car battery
  • Can be used in 12/24 V vehicles

INSTALLATION

  1. Connect the device to the 12/24V cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle so that the display is clearly visible. After insertion, do not try to turn the plug in the socket! If necessary, pull it out and turn it to the correct position, then plug it in again until it stops.
  2. Turn on the car radio, and then search for an FM frequency where you cannot hear a radio program, only a steady whisper. Use manual fine-tuning instead of automatic tuning! Record this “blank” frequency on a storage location, such as the last one. You will need to select this serial number on the car sound system later if you want to listen to the BT-FM transmitter.
  3. Set the same frequency on the unit as follows. Hold pressed the (~2 sec) circular CH button, then within ~3 seconds – during the flashing of the current frequency – use the scroll buttons to search for the desired value. Noise from the speakers is eliminated. After a few seconds, it automatically exits the setting mode and the selected value is stored.
  4. The display briefly shows the voltage of the vehicle battery after plugging in the device, followed by BT caption and the current frequency.
  5. BT indication flashes on the display until it is connected to the phone. After that, the frequency display is continuous.
  6. Unplug the device to turn it off.

WIRELESS BT CONNECTION

The device can be paired with other equipment which is communicating by BT protocol within a range of 10 meters. After that, music which is played by mobile phone. You can hear the phone conversation amplified on the car speakers. When the BT indicator flashes, search for nearby BT devices, including this unit, as described in the instruction manual of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices to each other, after which the BT indication disappears and the frequency is visible on the display.

  • Next time, the two devices will recognize each other and connect automatically.
  • A BT-FM transmitter can be paired with one BT device at the same time.
  • If the phone asks for a password, enter “0000” or “1234”
  • The current range depends on the other device and the environmental conditions.
  • The compatibility of the BT function and the product depends on the mobile phone, so its operation cannot be guaranteed in all cases.

WIRELESS MUSIC PLAYBACK

If you start the music player on the paired phone, you can listen to the songs in good quality through the car radio speakers. You can control the phone from the device by briefly pressing the buttons. Use the up / down buttons to scroll forward-backward the tracks, and hold the button pressed to control the volume. You can follow the current volume level on the display. Use the circular CH button to pause or resume playback.

  • It is not recommended to set the rotary knob to a maximum volume higher than 4/5 (V00… V30). A too high a level can cause distorted sounding, while a low-level results in more noise. The correct setting depends on the car radio and the quality of the audio, its recorded volume, and the compression program used to create it. The volume is also affected by the car radio settings.
  • To manage tracks properly, you usually need to create a playlist in the music player application. Otherwise, the scroll buttons may work differently.

RECEIVING AND MAKING TELEPHONE CALLS
The ringtone sounds when you receive a call. This can be heard from the car speakers when the car radio is tuned to a previously recorded frequency – for example, because you are listening to music from your phone. If you are listening to a radio program while the phone is ringing, switch the radio to the previously selected storage location, the pre-recorded frequency.
The incoming call is indicated by the message CALL on the display. You can answer the incoming call by briefly pressing the CH button. You can hang up the conversation by pressing the button again. Double-pressing the button calls back the last phone number. You can hear your partner through the car speakers. If music does not resume when you have finished talking, press the play/pause (CH) button.

Make a call: make a call with your phone and listen to it through the car speakers, hang it up with the BT-FM transmitter’s CH button. Call back: double-pressing the CH button dials the last number in the call list (depending on the phone settings, it may be necessary to operate the phone, e.g. if there are 2 SIM cards)
Answer incoming call: press the CH button and you can answer the incoming call without touching the phone Hang up call: during the call, press the CH button Reject incoming call: while the phone is ringing, press the CH button long (~3 sec)

  • When you return to range or after you turn it on, it will automatically reconnect to a previously paired and properly connected device if it is turned on nearby.
  •  The volume and sound quality are affected by adjusting the volume and tone of the external source. It is recommended that you install an equalizer app on your mobile device and customize the sound to your taste.
  • The nominal range is 10 meters, ideally, in an open space, in the absence of foreign objects or persons, for non-moving devices. This is affected by the characteristics of the connected devices and the environment (e.g. walls, human bodies, other electrical devices…).
  • If you move away from the connected device, the connection will be lost. When you return to your vicinity again, it will automatically reconnect. If music playback does not resume, press the play (CH) button. If you have a connection problem, turn the earphone or BT on your phone on and off
  • Abnormal operation or noise may be caused by nearby radiofrequency devices, this does not indicate a malfunction of the device.
  • In some cases, the BT function may be limited due to the unique features of your phone.
  • If your phone has special applications (such as voice control), your device may respond differently to the instructions.

MUSIC PLAYBACK (FROM USB/MICROSD DEVICE)

Carefully insert a USB (to the right side socket) or a microSD device that contains songs, and playback will start automatically. Use the CH button to play/pause and the scroll buttons to select the desired track. You can adjust the volume by pressing and holding the scroll buttons.

  • When you receive a call while playing music, it automatically switches to phone mode.
  • When you insert a memory unit, playback starts from the first song. If you have listened to it before, playback from the last track selected will resume even if you turn off the power and remove the device.
  • The individual characteristics of the mass storage device may cause a malfunction, this does not indicate the malfunction of the device.

USB CHARGER OUTPUTS

Two external devices can be charged at the same time, providing altogether 3,4 Ampere high-speed fast charging. The maxim available charging current is divided between the two sockets according to the needs of the connected devices. If the charging cable (not supplied) has a lower load capacity, the charging time will increase!

BUILT-IN BATTERY VOLTAGE METER

After plugging in, the display will first show the voltage of the cigarette lighter socket. Shows the vehicle battery voltage (e.g. 12.0 Volts) with the engine stopped. Based on this, the battery charge level and the degree of wear can be estimated. Ideally, this value is above 12 V. If the vehicle’s generator or electrical system is defective, or the battery is old, the value will be lower. In a cold or unused car for a long time, the voltage may drop faster, making it impossible to start the vehicle. In this case, it is advisable to start the engine from time to time for 15-20 minutes to prevent complete discharge.
Start the engine and the instrument should show a value around 14,4 V. At significantly lower values, the generator will not charge the battery properly, and higher values may overcharge. If you switch on the consumers (radio, lighting, wipers, heating…), the voltage value may change only slightly. An old, worn-out battery cannot be charged properly.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

Keep the cigarette lighter, the USB sockets, and plugs clean and dry for perfect contact. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use cleaning products. Do not spill liquid on or inside the device. It does not require special maintenance, in case of abnormalities turn it off and contact a specialist.
