Installation

Note: Make sure all devices you are connecting are powered off prior to installation.

  1. Connect the VGA port on the source to the unit’s VGA input port using a VGA video cable.
  2. Connect the RCA stereo ports* on the audio source to the unit’s RCA stereo input ports using an RCA stereo cable.
  3. Connect the HDMI output port on the unit to the HDMI port on your display using an HDMI cable.
  4. Connect the power supply to the unit and plug it into a Tripp Lite Surge Protector, Power Distribution Unit (PDU), or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). The LED on the input side will illuminate red to indicate that power is being received.
  5. Power on the connected devices.
  6. By default, the unit displays 720p video on the monitor. To toggle to 1080p, press the 720p/1080p button on the HDMI-side of the unit. The LED on the output side will illuminate red to indicate the video setting is at 720p. Once the setting is changed to 1080p, the LED will turn off.

Warranty and Product Registration

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of initial purchase. Tripp Lite’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center. Products must be returned to Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident, negligence or misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
