Installation
- Both memory card slots can be used at the same time.
- When connected to an AC power source by way of the USB-C charging port, 5W is dedicated to the docking station and connected USB peripherals. The remaining power is used to charge the connected USB-C device.
- See Optional Accessories section for suggested cables.
- When the unit is connected to the USB-C port on your computer and to a network via Cat5e/6 cabling, a network connection will automatically be established. If no connection is made, one can be established manually by going to your computer’s network settings page. For example, when using a Mac, navigate to the Network section found in System Preferences, click the ‘Assist Me’ button to get to the Network Setup Assistant, then follow the prompts to establish a connection.
- If additional power is required for your installation, the U442-DOCK11-S is compatible with user-supplied 5V DC power jacks equipped with a 3.5 x 1.35 x 9.5 mm output plug with a positive tip and negative sleeve.
- Connect the built-in USB-C cable to USB-C port on your laptop, tablet or other device.
- Use an HDMI cable to connect a monitor or display to the unit’s HDMI port.
- Connect USB peripherals to the unit’s USB-A hub ports.
- For an Ethernet connection, use Cat5e/6 UTP cable to connect to the unit’s RJ45 port.
- Insert Micro SD or SD/MMC cards into their corresponding slots to access external memory.
- Charge a device by connecting a USB-C charger to the unit’s USB-C port. The USB-C port can also be used to connect a USB-C peripheral device.

3-Year Limited Warranty
Tripp Lite warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of initial purchase.
Tripp Lite’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or
replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service
under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA)
number from Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center. Products
must be returned to Tripp Lite or an authorized Tripp Lite service center with
transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description
of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This
warranty does not apply to equipment, which has been damaged by accident,
negligence or misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, Tripp Lite MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Some states do not permit limitation or exclusion of implied warranties;
therefore, the aforesaid limitation(s) or exclusion(s) may not apply to the
purchaser.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, IN NO EVENT WILL Tripp Lite BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE
OF THIS PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

revenue, loss of equipment, loss of use of equipment, loss of software, loss
of data, costs of substitutes, claims by third parties, or otherwise. Any
changes or modifications to this equipment not expressly approved by Tripp
Lite could void the user’s authority to operate this equipment.
