Welcome
Thank you for choosing Miracle-Ear® hearing aids to accompany you through
everyday life. Like anything new, it may take you a little time to become
familiar with them. This guide, along with support from your hearing care
professional, will help you understand the advantages and greater quality of
life your hearing aids offer. To receive the most benefit from your hearing
aids, it is recommended that you wear them every day, all day. This will help
you get adjusted to them.
The hearing aid may not look exactly like the guiding illustrations in these
instructions. We reserve the right to make any changes we consider necessary.
CAUTION It is important to read this user manual and the safety manual
thoroughly and completely. Follow the safety information to avoid damage or
injury.
Before using your hearing aids for the first time, fully charge them. Follow
the instructions in the charger’s user manual.

Your hearing aids
This user manual describes optional features that your hearing aids may or may
not have. Ask your hearing care professional to indicate the features that are
valid for your hearing aids.
Hearing aid type Your hearing aids are a RIC (Receiver-in-Canal) model. The
receiver is placed within the ear canal and connected to the hearing aid via a
receiver cable. The hearing aids are not intended for children under the age
of 3 years or persons with a developmental age of under 3 years. A power cell
(lithium-ion rechargeable battery) is permanently built into your hearing aid.
This enables easy charging with MECHARGETM start or the optional MECHARGETM
fullpower or MECHARGETM powerdry charger. The wireless functionality enables
advanced audiological features and synchronization between your two hearing
aids.

Your hearing aids feature Bluetooth® low energy* technology allowing for easy
data exchange with your smartphone, and for seamless audio streaming with your
iPhone** and for some Android smartphones that support Audio Streaming for
Hearing Aids (ASHA).
Getting to know your hearing aids
It is recommended to familiarize yourself with your new hearing aids. With the
hearing aids in your hand try using the controls and note their location on
the hearing aid. This will make it easier for you to feel and press the
controls while wearing the hearing aids.
If you have problems pressing the controls of your hearing aids while wearing
them, you can ask your hearing care professional whether a remote control or a
smartphone app to control your hearing aids is available.

Controls
With the rocker switch you can, for example, switch hearing programs. The
hearing care professional has programmed your desired functions to the rocker
switch.

You can also use a remote control to change hearing programs and adjust the volume of your hearing aids. With our smartphone app you have even more control options.

Features The tinnitus therapy feature generates a sound to distract you from
your tinnitus.
Daily use
To assure comfortable and easy use of your hearing aids they are equipped with
an onboard control element. In addition we offer an app for Android as well as
iPhones which makes handling your hearing aids even easier. Contact your
hearing care professional for downloading and installing the smartphone app.
Inserting and removing the hearing aids Your hearing aids have been fine-tuned
for your right and left ear. Colored markers indicate the side:
red marker = right ear blue marker = left ear
Inserting a hearing aid: X For Sleeves, take care that the bend of the Sleeve
is
in line with the bend of the receiver cable. See illustrations on next page.

Correct: Incorrect:
X Hold the receiver cable at the bend closer to the
ear piece.
X Carefully push the ear piece in
the ear canal .
X Twist it slightly until it sits well.
Open and close your mouth to avoid accumulation of air in the ear canal.
X Lift the hearing aid and slide it over the top of your ear .

CAUTION Risk of injury! X Always wear the receiver cable with an ear
piece. X Make sure that the ear piece is completely
attached. CAUTION Risk of injury! X Insert the ear piece carefully and not too
deeply into the ear.
It may be helpful to insert the right hearing aid
with the right hand and the left hearing aid with the left hand.
If you have problems inserting the ear piece,
use the other hand to gently pull your earlobe downwards. This opens the ear
canal and eases insertion of the ear piece.

The optional retention strand helps to securely retain the ear piece in your
ear. To attach the optional retention strand:
X Align the end of the retention strand with the flat end of the receiver.
To position the retention strand:
X Bend the retention strand and position it carefully into the bottom of the
bowl of your ear (refer to the picture).
X Then press the retention strand towards the receiver until it clicks into place.
Removing a hearing aid:
X Lift the hearing aid and slide
it over the top of your ear .
X If your hearing aid is
equipped with a custom
shell or a mold, remove it
by pulling the small removal
cord toward the back of your
head.
X For all other ear pieces: Grip the receiver in the ear canal with two fingers and pull it carefully out .
Do not pull the receiver cable.

CAUTION Risk of injury! X In very rare cases the ear piece could remain
in your ear when removing the hearing aid. If this happens, have the ear piece
removed by a medical professional. Clean and dry your hearing aids after
usage. Read more in section “Maintenance and care”. Turning on and off You
have the following options to turn your hearing aids on or off.
Via charger: X Turning on: Take the hearing aids out of the charger.
The startup melody is played in your hearing aids. The default volume and
hearing program are set. X Turning off: Place the hearing aids in the charger.
Note that the charger must be connected to the power supply. For details refer
to the charger’s user manual.

Via rocker switch: X Turning on: Press and hold the
lower part of the rocker switch until the startup melody starts to play.
Release the rocker switch while the melody is playing. The default volume and
hearing program are set. X Turning off: Press and hold upper or lower part of
the rocker switch for several seconds. A power down melody is played.
Switching to standby mode Via remote control or smartphone app, you can switch
your hearing aids to standby mode. This mutes the hearing aids. When you leave
standby mode, the previously used volume and hearing program are set.
Note:
In standby mode, the hearing aids are not turned off
completely. They draw some power. Therefore we recommend to use standby mode
only for a short period of time.

If you want to leave standby mode, but the remote
control or app is not at hand: Turn your hearing aids off and on again (via
rocker switch or by shortly placing them in the charger until one or more
orange LEDs light up). In this case, the default volume and hearing program
are set.
Adjusting the volume
Your hearing aids automatically adjust the volume to the listening situation.
X If you prefer manual volume adjustment, press the upper part of the rocker
switch to increase the volume or press the lower part to decrease the volume.
Refer to section “Controls” for the setting of your rocker switch.
An optional signal can indicate the volume change. Once the maximum or minimum
volume has been reached, you may hear an optional signal tone.
Changing the hearing program
Depending on the listening situation, your hearing aids automatically adjust
their sound based on the environment or surroundings.
Your hearing aids may also have several hearing programs which allow you to
change the sound, if needed. An optional signal tone can indicate the program
change.
X To change the hearing program, press the rocker switch briefly.
Refer to section “Controls” for the setting of the rocker switch. Refer to
section “Hearing programs” for a list of your hearing programs.
The default volume is applied.
Further adjustments (optional)
You can also use the hearing aid controls to change other features, for
example, the level of the tinnitus therapy signal.
Refer to section “Controls” for the setting of your controls.

Charging You have the choice between three charger options:

X Place your hearing aids in the charger.
X Follow the instructions in the charger’s user manual. You can also find
useful tips for charging in the charger’s user manual.
Low power indication You will hear an alert signal when wearing your hearing
aids to indicate the power cell is running

low. The signal will be repeated every 20 minutes. Depending on the usage of
your hearing aids, you have approximately 1.5 hours to charge your hearing
aids before they stop working. Note that the power cell runtime is reduced if
too many features are used simultaneously.
Charging tips You may have some questions on how to best charge your hearing
aids. Read the questions and answers below. If you have more questions, your
hearing care professional will help you.
” How often do I need to charge the hearing aids? We recommend charging the
hearing aids daily, even if the power cell is not empty. Charge them overnight
so you can be sure to start your day with fully-charged hearing aids.
” How long does charging take? A full charging cycle takes approximately 4
hours (+/10 mins). After 30 minutes, it is possible to use your hearing aids
for up to 6 hours. Charging times may vary due to the use of the hearing aids
and the age of the power cell.

” What happens if I forgot to charge? Your hearing aids will automatically
switch-off when the power cell is empty. Charge the hearing aids as soon as
possible. Hearing aids which have not been charged for over 6 months may be
damaged due to an unrecoverable deep-discharge of the power cell. Deep-
discharged power cells cannot be charged anymore and have to be replaced.

Special listening situations
On the phone When you are on the phone, hold the telephone receiver slightly
above your ear. The hearing aid and telephone receiver have to be aligned.
Turn the receiver slightly so that the ear is not completely covered.
Telephone program You may prefer a certain volume when using the phone. Ask
your hearing care professional to configure a telephone program. X Switch to
the telephone program whenever you are
on the phone. If a telephone program is configured for your hearing aids, it
is listed in section “Hearing programs”.
Audio streaming with iPhone Your hearing aids are Made for iPhone hearing
aids. This means you can get phone calls and listen to music from your iPhone
directly into your hearing aids. For more information about compatible iOS
devices, pairing, audio streaming and other useful functions, contact your
hearing care professional.

Audio streaming with Android phone
If your mobile phone supports Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA), you can
get phone calls and listen to music from your mobile phone directly into your
hearing aids.

streaming and other useful functions, contact your hearing care professional.
Bluetooth®
Your hearing aid is equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology to enable
audio streaming from mobile phones or other compatible devices.
In an airplane, the use of Bluetooth functionality may be restricted,
especially during take-off and landing. If this is the case, you can switch
off Bluetooth wireless technology in your hearing aids via the smartphone app.
Audio induction loops Some telephones and public places like theaters offer
the audio signal (music and speech) via an audio induction loop. With this
system, your hearing aids can directly receive the desired signal without
distracting noise in the environment. You can usually recognize audio
induction loop systems by certain signs.
Whenever you are in a place with an audio induction loop: X Switch to the
telecoil program.
If a telecoil program is configured for your hearing aids, it is listed in
section “Hearing programs”.

Maintenance and care
To prevent damage it is important that you take care of your hearing aids and
follow a few basic rules, which will soon become a part of your daily routine.
Hearing aids Cleaning Your hearing aids have a protective coating. However, if
not cleaned regularly you may damage the hearing aids or cause personal
injury. X Clean your hearing aids daily with a soft, dry tissue. X Never use
running water or immerse the
hearing aids in water. X Never apply pressure while cleaning.
X Do not use alcoholic solvent on the charging contacts.
X To avoid corrosion, use a soft and dry tissue to wipe off sweat or liquid
from the charging contacts or hearing aids before inserting them in the
charger.
X Ask your hearing care professional for recommended cleaning products,
special care sets, or more information on how to keep your hearing aids in
good condition.

Drying
You can use conventional products to dry your hearing aids. Ask your hearing
care professional for recommended drying products and for individual
instructions on when to dry your hearing aids.
Storage
Short-term storage (up to several days): Turn off your
hearing aids via the rocker switch or place them in the powered charger.
The charger must be connected to the power supply. If the charger is not
connected to power supply and you place your hearing aids in the charger, the
hearing aids are not turned off.
Note that when you turn off the hearing aids via a remote control or
smartphone app, the hearing aids are not turned off completely. They are in
standby-mode and still draw some power.
Long-term storage (weeks, months, …): First, fully
charge your hearing aids. Turn them off via the rocker switch before storing
them. We recommend using drying products while storing the hearing aids.
At 6 month intervals you will have to charge the hearing aids to avoid an
unrecoverable deep-discharge of the power cell. Deep-discharged power cells
cannot be charged anymore and they have to be replaced. We recommend
recharging more frequently than 6 month intervals.

conditions”.

Ear pieces
Cleaning Cerumen (ear wax) may accumulate on the ear pieces. This may affect
sound quality. Clean the ear pieces daily. For all types of ear pieces: X
Clean the
ear piece right after removal with a soft and dry tissue. This prevents that
cerumen becomes dry and hard.
Exchanging Exchange standard ear pieces approximately every three months.
Replace them sooner if you notice cracks or other changes. The procedure for
exchanging standard ear pieces depends on the type of ear piece. In section
“Components and names”, your hearing care professional has marked your type of
ear piece.

X To remove the old Eartip or Sleeve, follow the illustration below. Be
careful not to pull the receiver cable.
X Take particular care that the new Eartip or Sleeve covers the retention
rings of the receiver fully.
X Check the firm fit of the new Eartip or Sleeve.

Professional maintenance
Your hearing care professional can perform a thorough professional cleaning
and maintenance.
Custom-made ear pieces and wax filters should be exchanged as needed by your
hearing care professional.
Ask your hearing care professional for your individual recommendation of
maintenance intervals and for support.
Important safety information
WARNING A lithium-ion rechargeable battery is permanently built into your
hearing aid. Incorrect use of the hearing aid can cause the lithium-ion
rechargeable battery to burst. Risk of injury, fire or explosion! X Follow the
safety instructions for lithium-ion
rechargeable battery in this section.
WARNING Risk of electric shock! X Connect the charger only with a USB power
supply which complies with IEC60950-1 and/ or IEC62368-1.

WARNING
X Observe the operating conditions.
X Pay special attention to protect your hearing aid from extreme heat (e.g.
fire, microwave oven, induction oven or other high induction fields) and
sunlight.
X Charge your hearing aids only with an approved charger. Ask your hearing
care professional for support.
X Do not disassemble the hearing aid.
X Do not use the hearing aid in explosive atmospheres.
X Do not use hearing aids that are deformed or obviously damaged.
X Do not use the hearing aid when its performance after charging reduces
considerably. Return the hearing aid to your hearing care professional.
X Do not dispose of the hearing aid in fire or water.
WARNING
X Replacement and repair have to be performed by a professional. Therefore:
X Do not repair or replace the lithium-ion rechargeable battery yourself.
X In the unlikely event of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery bursting or
exploding, keep all combustible materials away.
In any of the above cases, return your hearing aid to the hearing care
professional. For more safety information, refer to the safety manual supplied
with the hearing aid.

You can use the smartphone app for convenient remote control of your hearing
aids. The app also allows you to deactivate signal tones, to create individual
sound profiles and many more functions.

Troubleshooting for hearing aid
Problem and possible solutions Sound is weak.
Increase the volume. Charge the hearing aid. Clean or exchange the ear piece.
Hearing aid emits whistling sounds.
Reinsert the ear piece until it fits securely. Decrease the volume. Clean or
exchange the ear piece.
Sound is distorted.

Hearing aid emits signal tones.

Hearing aid does not work.
Turn the hearing aid on. Charge the hearing aid. Observe also the status

Los audífonos
En este manual del operador se describen características opcionales que sus
audífonos pueden tener o no tener. Solicite al especialista en audición que le
indique qué características son válidas para sus audífonos.
Tipo de audífono Sus audífonos son un modelo con auricular en el canal (RIC,
por sus siglas en inglés). El auricular se coloca dentro del canal auditivo y
se conecta al instrumento por medio de un cable del auricular. Estos audífonos
no se han diseñado para niños menores de 3 años ni para personas cuya edad de
desarrollo esté por debajo de los 3 años. El audífono lleva integrada una pila
fija (recargable de iones de litio). Esto permite cargarlo fácilmente con
MECHARGETM start o el MECHARGETM fullpower o MECHARGETM powerdry n Charger
opcional. La funcionalidad inalámbrica proporciona características
audiológicas avanzadas entre los dos audífonos.

Los audífonos incluyen la tecnología Bluetooth® Low Energy* que permite
intercambiar datos de manera sencilla con su smartphone y transmitir audio sin
problemas con su iPhone** y algunos smartphones Android que son compatibles

La importancia de conocer el audífono

Uso diario
Para garantizar un uso cómodo y fácil de sus audífonos, estos cuentan con un
elemento de control integrado. Además, ofrecemos una aplicación para iPhone y
Android que facilita aún más el manejo de sus dispositivos. Póngase en
contacto con su especialista en audición si desea descargar e instalar la
aplicación para smartphones.
Inserción y extracción de los audífonos Los audífonos se han ajustado para el
oído derecho e izquierdo. Las marcas de color indican el lado:
Marca roja = Oído derecho Marca azul = oído izquierdo
Inserción del audífono: X En el caso de Sleeves, asegúrese de que la curva
del Sleeve esté alineada con la curva del cable del auricular. Consulte las
ilustraciones de la siguiente página.

Puede resultarle útil insertar el audífono
derecho con la mano derecha y el audífono izquierdo con la mano izquierda.
Si tiene problemas para insertar el molde, tire
suavemente del lóbulo de la oreja hacia abajo con la otra mano. Esto abre el
canal auditivo y facilita la inserción del molde. El filamento de sujeción
opcional ayuda a retener de forma segura el molde en el oído. Para acoplar el
filamento de sujeción opcional: X Alinee el extremo del filamento de sujeción
con el extremo plano del auricular.
X A continuación, presione el filamento de sujeción hacia el auricular hasta
que se encaje con un clic en su sitio.

X Doble el filamento de sujeción y colóquelo con cuidado en la parte inferior

ATENCIÓN Peligro de lesiones. X En casos muy raros, el molde podría
permanecer en el oído al retirar el audífono. En este caso, pida que un
profesional médico se lo extraiga. Limpie y seque los audífonos después de
utilizarlos. Obtenga más información en la sección “Mantenimiento y cuidados”.
Conexión y desconexión Dispone de las siguientes opciones para conectar y
desconectar los audífonos. Mediante cargador: X Conexión: Saque los
instrumentos del cargador.
Se reproduce la melodía de inicio en los audífonos. Se restablecen el volumen
y el programa de audición predeterminados. X Desconexión: Coloque los
audífonos en el cargador. Tenga en cuenta que el cargador debe estar conectado
a la fuente de alimentación. Para obtener más información, consulte el manual
del operador del cargador.

Con el conmutador: X Conexión: Mantenga pulsada la
parte inferior del conmutador hasta que la melodía de inicio comience a
reproducirse. Suelte el conmutador mientras se reproduce la melodía.
Se restablecen el volumen y el programa de audición predeterminados. X
Desconexión: Mantenga pulsada la parte superior o inferior del conmutador
durante varios segundos. Se reproducirá una melodía de apagado.
Cambio al modo de reposo
Puede poner los audífonos en modo de espera (standby) con un control remoto o
la aplicación para smartphone. De este modo se silencian los audífonos. Cuando
se sale del modo de espera, se recuperan el volumen y el programa de audición
utilizados anteriormente.
Nota:
En el modo de espera, los audífonos no están
apagados completamente. Siguen consumiendo algo de energía.
Por este motivo, se recomienda utilizar el modo de espera solo durante
períodos breves.

Si desea salir del modo de espera, pero no
tiene a mano el control remoto o la aplicación: Apague y vuelva a encender los
audífonos (utilice el conmutador o colóquelos brevemente en el cargador hasta
que se enciendan una o más luces LED naranjas). En ese caso, se restablecen el
volumen y el programa de audición predeterminados.
Regulación del volumen
Los audífonos ajustan automáticamente el volumen a la situación auditiva.
X Si prefiere el ajuste manual del volumen, pulse la parte superior del
conmutador para aumentar el volumen o la parte inferior para disminuirlo.
Consulte la configuración del conmutador en la sección “Controles”.
Una señal opcional puede indicar el cambio de volumen. Cuando se haya
alcanzado el volumen máximo o mínimo, es posible que oiga un tono de aviso
opcional.
Cambio del programa de audición
Según la situación de escucha, los audífonos ajustan automáticamente el
sonido.
Es posible que sus audífonos también tengan varios programas de audición que
permitan cambiar el sonido si es necesario. Un tono de aviso opcional puede
indicar el cambio de programa.
X Para cambiar el programa de audición, presione brevemente el conmutador.
Consulte la configuración del conmutador en la sección “Controles”. Para
obtener una lista de los programas de audición, consulte la sección “Programas
de audición”.
Se ha aplicado el volumen predeterminado.
Más ajustes (opcional)
También puede usar los controles del audífono para cambiar otras
características, por ejemplo, el nivel de la señal de la terapia de tinnitus.

Indicación de nivel bajo de batería Se oirá una señal de aviso para indicar
que la batería se está agotando. Se repetirá la señal cada 20 minutos. Según
el nivel de uso de los audífonos, tiene aproximadamente 1,5 horas para cargar
los audífonos antes de que dejen de funcionar. Tenga en cuenta que el tiempo
de ejecución de la batería se reduce si se utilizan demasiadas funciones al
mismo tiempo.
Consejos para la carga Es posible que tenga algunas preguntas acerca de la
mejor manera de cargar los audífonos. Lea las preguntas y respuestas que se
proporcionan a continuación. Si tiene otras preguntas, su especialista en
audición puede ayudarlo.
” ¿Con qué frecuencia debo cargar los audífonos? Se recomienda cargar los
audífonos a diario, incluso si la batería no está agotada. Cárguelos por la
noche para asegurarse de comenzar el día con los audífonos completamente
cargados.
” ¿Cuánto tardan en cargarse? Un ciclo de carga completo dura aproximadamente
4 horas (+/- 10 min).

Después de 30 minutos, los audífonos se pueden utilizar durante un máximo de
seis horas. Los tiempos de carga pueden variar en función del nivel de uso de
los audífonos y de la antigüedad de la batería.
” ¿Qué ocurre si olvidé cargarlos? Los audífonos se apagarán automáticamente
cuando la batería esté agotada. Cargue los audífonos lo antes posible. Los
audífonos que no se han cargado en más de 6 meses pueden estar dañados debido
a una descarga completa no recuperable de la batería. Las baterías que se han
descargado completamente no pueden volver a cargarse y deben sustituirse.

Situaciones de escucha especiales
Al teléfono
Cuando esté al teléfono, sostenga el receptor del teléfono un poco por encima
de la oreja. El audífono y el receptor del teléfono deben estar alineados.
Gire el receptor ligeramente hacia fuera, de modo que la oreja no quede
totalmente cubierta.
Programa de teléfono Al utilizar el teléfono puede ser necesario un volumen
determinado. Pregunte a su especialista en audición para configurar un
programa de teléfono.
X Cambie al programa de teléfono siempre que esté al teléfono. Si se ha
configurado un programa de teléfono para los audífonos, aparece en la lista de
la sección “Programas de audición”.
Transmisión de audio con iPhone
Sus audífonos son un modelo de audífonos Made for iPhone. Esto significa que
puede atender llamadas telefónicas y escuchar música de su iPhone directamente
con los audífonos.

Transmisión de audio con teléfonos Android
Si su teléfono es compatible con Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA),
puede atender llamadas telefónicas y escuchar música de su teléfono móvil
directamente con los audífonos.

emparejamiento, transmisión de audio y otras funciones útiles, póngase en

Bluetooth®
Su audífono está equipado con tecnología inalámbrica Bluetooth para permitir
la transmisión de audio desde teléfonos móviles u otros dispositivos
compatibles.
En un avión, se puede restringir el uso de la funcionalidad Bluetooth,
especialmente durante el despegue y el aterrizaje. Si este es el caso, puede
desactivar la tecnología inalámbrica Bluetooth en sus audífonos a través de la
aplicación para teléfonos inteligentes.
Bucles de inducción de audio
Algunos teléfonos y lugares públicos como los teatros ofrecen la señal de
audio (música y voz) a través de un bucle de inducción de audio. Con este
sistema, los audífonos pueden recibir directamente la señal deseada, sin ruido
ambiental molesto.
Normalmente los sistemas de bucle de inducción de audio se reconocen por
ciertas señales.
Cuando se encuentre en un lugar donde haya bucles de inducción de audio:
X Cambiar a programa de bobina telefónica.
Si se ha configurado un programa de bobina telefónica para los audífonos,
aparece en la lista de la sección “Programas de audición”.

Mantenimiento y cuidados
Para evitar daños, es importante cuidar los audífonos y seguir unas reglas
básicas que pronto se convertirán en parte de su rutina diaria.
Audífonos
Limpieza Los audífonos tienen una capa protectora. No obstante, si no se
limpian periódicamente, pueden producirse daños en los audífonos o daños
personales.
X Limpie los audífonos a diario con un paño suave y seco.
X No utilice nunca agua corriente ni sumerja los dispositivos en agua.
X No aplique nunca presión durante la limpieza.
X No utilice disolvente alcohólico sobre los contactos de carga.
X Para evitar la corrosión, use un paño suave y seco para retirar el sudor o
cualquier líquido de los contactos de carga o audífonos antes de introducirlos
en el cargador.
X Pregunte a su especialista en audición sobre los productos de limpieza
recomendados y los kits de mantenimiento, o pídale más información sobre cómo
mantener los audífonos en buen estado.

Secado
Puede utilizar productos convencionales para secar los audífonos. Pregunte a
su especialista en audición sobre los productos de secado recomendados y sobre
instrucciones específicas acerca de cuándo secar los audífonos.
Almacenamiento
Almacenamiento a corto plazo (hasta varios
días): Apague los audífonos con el conmutador o colóquelos en el cargador con
tensión.
El cargador debe estar conectado a la fuente de alimentación. Si el cargador
no está conectado a la fuente de alimentación y coloca los audífonos en el
cargador, estos no se apagarán.
Tenga en cuenta que si apaga los audífonos con un control remoto o por medio
de la aplicación para smartphones, los audífonos no se apagarán completamente.
Entrarán en modo de espera y seguirán consumiendo algo de energía.
Almacenamiento a largo plazo (semanas, meses,
etc.): En primer lugar, cargue completamente los audífonos. Apáguelos con el
conmutador antes de guardarlos. Se recomienda el uso de productos de secado
durante el almacenamiento de los audífonos.
Deberá cargar los audífonos cada 6 meses a fin de evitar una descarga completa
irrecuperable de la batería. Las baterías que se han descargado completamente
no pueden volver a cargarse y

deben sustituirse. Recomendamos realizar la recarga con más frecuencia que
cada 6 meses.
Respete las condiciones de almacenamiento de la sección “Condiciones de
funcionamiento, transporte y almacenamiento”.
Moldes
Limpieza Puede acumularse cerumen (cera del oído) en los moldes. Esto puede
afectar a la calidad del sonido. Limpie los moldes a diario.
Para todos los tipos de moldes: X Limpie el molde
con un paño suave y seco justo después de extraerlo.
De este modo se evita que el cerumen se seque y se endurezca.
Sustitución Sustituya los moldes estándar aproximadamente cada tres meses.
Sustitúyalos más pronto si observa grietas u otros cambios. El procedimiento
para sustituir los moldes estándar depende del tipo de molde. En la sección
“Componentes y nombres”, su especialista en audición ha marcado el tipo de
molde. 28
X Para retirar el antiguo Eartip o Sleeve, siga las instrucciones que se
ilustran a continuación. Tenga cuidado de no tirar del cable del auricular.
X Asegúrese especialmente de que el nuevo Eartip o Sleeve cubra por completo
los anillos de sujeción del auricular.
X Compruebe que el nuevo Eartip o Sleeve encaje firmemente.

Mantenimiento profesional
El especialista en audición puede realizar una limpieza y un mantenimiento
exhaustivos y profesionales.
Los moldes a medida y los filtros de cera deben sustituirse según sea
necesario por un especialista en audición.
Solicite a su especialista en audición una recomendación personalizada de los
intervalos de mantenimiento y asistencia.
