SAFETY FEATURES
This Radiator is fitted with an overheat protection switch (thermal cut-
out) which will power off the appliance automatically in case of overheating.
Should this occur, unplug the appliance and allow to cool fully for
approximately 30 minutes.
Follow the operation instructions to restart the appliance after removing the
source of the overheating (poor ventilation, item covering the Radiator etc.).
The Radiator should function normally. Should the problem persist, please
contact DOMU Brands Customer Services.
To avoid damage and to regulate the temperature, this Radiator is fitted with
a thermostatic safety device. The safety device will activate and cut out
the power to the Radiator once a certain temperature is reached. The Radiator
will start again once the temperature has lowered.
The Radiator is also fitted with a tip switch which will cut off the power to
the Radiator if it is knocked over. Should this happen, disconnect at the
mains and allow to cool fully before attempting to move the Radiator. Inspect
the Radiator for damage. If – and only if – the Radiator is free from damage,
plug back into the mains. The Radiator should function normally.
OPERATION
CAUTION: Before using the Radiator, make sure that it is on a flat and
stable surface. Damage may occur if it is placed on an incline or decline.
NOTE: When the Heater is switched on you will hear a crackling/popping
sound, this is completely normal and not a fault , it is the oil settling. Set
all the controls to the off position and insert the plug into a socket outlet,
ensuring the plug fits firmly.
IMPORTANT: The TIMER switch must be set to the `I’ position for NON
Timer operation.
Rotate the Thermostat Knob (1) clockwise to MAX position and switch the
Radiator on.
Once your room reaches the desired temperature, slowly rotate the Thermostat
Knob anticlockwise until the pilot light goes out. It can now be left at this
setting. As soon as the room temperature has dropped below the set
temperature, the unit will switch it self on automatically until the set
temperature has been reached again. In this way, the room temperature remains
constant with the most economical use of electricity. If you want to change
the room temperature setting, rotate the Thermostat Knob clockwise to raise
the temperature, or anticlockwise to lower it. This Radiator is fitted with an
overheat protection system that shuts off the Radiator should parts of the
Radiator become excessively hot. To completely shut the Radiator off, turn all
the controls to the off position and remove plug from the socket outlet.
CONTROLS
USING THE TIMER
1. Slide the switch to the position shown. You will now be able to set the
Timer Dial (3).
NOTE: Do not unplug the Radiator once you have set the Timer Dial as this
can cause the clock to stop.
IMPORTANT: The switch must be set to the `I’ position for normal
operation. (NON TIMED)|
---|---
2. To set the time of day, turn the Timer Dial clockwise (indicated by the
direction arrow) until the marker arrow corresponds to the time of day.
NOTE: The Dial will only rotate clockwise, if you accidently pass the time
required you will need to rotate the timer again.|
3. Using your finger or a tip of a pen/pencil, push segments in as required.
Each segment is 15 mins. You can select as many or as little heating periods
as desired within the 24 hour period.|
CLEANING & CARE
CAUTION: Switch off the Radiator and disconnect the plug from the power
socket. Wait for the Radiator to cool completely before cleaning.

lint-free cloth rinsed in hot soapy water only.
CAUTION: Do not use any harsh detergent or abrasive cleaners.
