Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using hand products.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or
knowledge, unless supervised and given appropriate instruction regarding the
correct use of the product by a person responsible for their safety. This
product is not a toy. Keep away from children and animals. Children and pets
should be supervised to ensure they are kept away from the work area. Do not
use the product for anything other than its intended use. Ensure the product
is placed on a suitable flat stable surface. Never set the product down on an
unprotected surface as this could potentially damage the surface.
WARNING: This product operates between the temperatures of 50ºC – 300ºC.
Temperatures above this can cause damage to the product Never insert fingers,
pencils or any other object into the fins whilst the fins are rotating. Keep
hair and loose clothing away from moving fins. Do not leave unattended whilst
in operation. Always carry the product by the handle provided. Take care not
to drop the product as this could damage the circuit board and fins.
WORKING POSITION
IMPORTANT: Ensure the position of the product is as far away from the flue pipe as possible. Do not place directly in front of the flue pipe.
OPERATION
Place the Thermostat onto the flue of the stove heater approximately 45cm
above the stove. The Stove Fan has an operating temperature between 50ºC-300ºC
NOTE: Ensure the thermostat stays within the parameters of 150ºC / 300ºF
to 300ºC / 600ºF. When the indicator is in the orange ‘Optimum Performance’
area, place the product onto the stove heater as shown above. The YELLOW area
indicates efficient operation and low heat being stored. The RED area is the
‘overheat’ indicator. This indicate the fan is too hot and damage to the Fan
may be caused.
