Thank you for choosing Mix Dimmer D5
Mix Dimmer DS switch is a standard size smart dimmer switch that can quickly
turn a_ traditional switch into a smart one
It combines four types of interaction: buttons, touch screen, voice and mobile
app, while using Wi-Fi communication protocols. You can quickly control the
lights through the button, precisely control through the touchscreen, remotely
control through mobile app, voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant.
It is a collection of device control, voice intercom, weather display and
other applications of the wall smart switch.

Is there a neutral wire in the junction box?

Preparation Tools
Power tools are not recommended,
Installing this product involves handling high voltage wiring.
Each step of the enclosed instructions must be followed carefully. To avoid
fire, personal injury, or death, turn off your circuit breakers and follow the
proper safety precautions before proceeding.
UNSURE ABOUT HANDLING ELECTRICAL WIRING? CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
The product should be used indoors only and should not be installed in wet
environments such as bathrooms. Do not attempt to repair the product by
yourself, it should be repaired by an authorized professional.
Single Pole Installation

Turn off the power Tum off the circuit breaker, then turn the light on and off several times to verify that the power is off.

Remove Panel
Remove the wall switch screws and gently pull the switch out, but do not disconnect the wires. -
Take a Photo Take a picture showing the existing wire connections from the wall to the back of the switch. This will be useful if you need to reconnect your previous switch.

identify the Neutral and Ground wires In the junction box, the white wire fixed with the wire nut is Neutral wire. In the junction box, the green or bare copper wire is Ground wire.

Turn on the power

Identify the Line/Load wires Identify the wire with the electrical tester.
The Line wire is energized when the light is turned on or off, and the load wire is only energized when the light is turned on (usually Line and Load wires are Black and Red respectively)
Identify the wires need to operate with electricity, do not touch the bare metal with your body. -
Turn off the power

Remove the switch Remove the switch after labelling the wires.

Connect the wires Make sure the circuit breaker is power off.
Use wire connectors to connect the wires on the Mix Dimmer DS to the labeled wires coming from the wall in order.
1 Connect Neutral wires
2 Connect Ground wires
3 Connect Line wires
4 Connect Load wires -
Install the switch With light pressure, push you Mix Dimmer DS into the switch box.
The switch should sit flush against the wall—if not, pull the switch out and try rearranging the wires.
Please do NOT force the switch into the wall. -
Install the panel Secure the mount with screw and then fix the front panel to complete the installation.
Configure Mix Dimmer D5
*As software evolves, the latest user interfaces may differ slightly from what is described in this manual.
Follow the 3 steps to complete the device configuration for Mix Dimmer D5 .
Step 1: Download the App
Path 1: Search “ORVIBO Home” in the App Store or Google Play Store to download
the App. Path 2: Scan the QR cade with your mobile phone to download the App.
After download the App, register a new account and log in.
Step 2 :Turn on the circuit breaker to start the device. Step 3: Follow
the on-screen instructions to complete the configuration.

Click Start to set up

Select the type of light
•Dimmable: For Dimmer able type, the Minimum and Preference brightness could be set by sliding up or down. • Non-dimmable: -
Open the ORVIBO Home App, scan the QR code on the screen to complete the device network connection and account binding according to the instructions. Click the “+” on the right comer of the app’s home page and scan the QR
code to complete the network connection. -
Complete Configuration Basic Operations
Physical Button
Short Press: Tumn the light on/off
Long Press (5s): Turn microphone off/on Swipe left or right to switch control and settings pages for different devices.
Common Functions
Control Lights
The light can be turned on/off and the percentage of brightness can be
adjusted through touch screen, voice and App, and the physical button can only
turn on/off the light. * With ORIVBO smart switches, controlling other lights
on one MixDimmer D5 can be achieved. More instructions are on page 27.
- Voice control requires Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant
Mode Control
- Vocation Mode: Lights turn on/off randomly when you are away to keep your home safe.
- Automatic Mode: The light turns on automatically when the device detects that the room is dark, and turns off automatically when the room is bright.
- Customized Mode: The light brightness can be edited to suit your needs, e.g. 50% brightness for reading mode. There are two ways to customize:
• On MixDimmer D5:
Click”Add” to set different brightness, a total of 4 icons can be added to indicate the customized mode. • On App
Go to “Me’~”Device Management’~”All Devices’, select the device and go the—”Setting’~”Mode Manage’ -“Add Mode” to set the name of the icon, then MixDimmer DS switch will sync the information to match the settings.
Control Other Devices
Go to “Me”-“MixPad”—”Device”, click the“+” to choose the devices you want to display on the MixDimmer D5, then you can control those devices directly from the MixDimmer D5 .
*Only support Orvibo smart lights and switches.
Scene Control
Define different scenes based on your needs, so that you can control multiple
devices with one click, e.g. tum off all the lights when you leave home.
Go to ”’Smart’—”Scenes” and click “+”in the right corner to set the scene.
After finishing the setting in the app, the scene information will be
displayed on the screen of MixDimmer D5.
Voice intercom
Intercom function enables voice intercom with other rooms.
- Voice intercom function requires two MixDimmer D5 switches to be in the same WLAN.
Voice Broadcast
Broadcast function enables MixDimmer D5 switches in all rooms to broadcast
voice simultaneously.
Press and hold the button to turn on the broadcast, and release to stop the
broadcast.
- Voice broadcast function requires all MixDimmer D5 switches to be in the same WLAN.
Voice Control via Siri
Do not have an Alexa or Google Home device? tf you have an Apple mobile
device, you can enable Siri voice control to the scenes you created.
Log in to the ORVIBO Home App, go to “Me”, find “Siri Shortcuts’, and click
“Add to Siri” to customize voice control from Apple devices to home
appliances.

Siri only works with scene.
You can also enable Siri voice control when you create the crane Geri voice command citrate with “Have Siri”
Support Amazon Alexa and Google Home- Link ORVIBO to Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant Log in to the ORVIBO Home App, go to “Me”, find “Smart speaker service”, and click “Amazon Alexa” or “Google Home” for detailed instructions.

Set Up with Matter
You can integrate this device into any Matter ecosystem you prefer for
controlling by its App or setting up routines with other matter devices.
How to Set Up: A Matter-supported controller and smart home app of the same
ecosystem are required.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Open the smart home app and scan the access CR code provided in the initial settings or “Setting – Add to App – Matters App” on the screen of MixDimmer D5.
- Follow the instructions in the app to complete setup. Note: Setup processes may vary between different ecosystems
Failed to Set Up?
- Try to connect your phone to a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network with Internet access instead of a 5GHz network;
- Turn off, then turn on the power to restart the device:

Warranty Range And Duration
One year warranty applies to most ORVIBO products unless specified at the time
of purchase. Accessories included with the main device and batteries have a
warranty of six months when buying ORVIBO products, the product warranty
remains measured from the time it was bought by the original owner: Any other
promises made by dealers beyond the guarantee of ORVIBO, ORVIBO will not
assume any liability.
The following cases do not belong to free repair scope and ORVIBO will provide
paid services. Please note. Fill to provide warranty card and related sales
invoices. Cleaning of product and wear loss under normal circumstances such as
natural loss of casing, inserting components, aging and wear).
Any product failure or damage caused by installation, usage maintenance, and
storage that are not in accor-dance with usage instructions. Alter or tear up
barcode on products or warranty card without authorization.

Product serial number or type on warranty card does not match the product

flood lightning and so on. Product failure or damaged caused by any problem
other than product design, technology, manufacturing, quality and others.
Accessories are not included in free repair scope. This regulation shall come
into effect since the issuing date.
