Product Description

ORVIBO Smart Wi-Fi Dual Relay Switch is a smart 2-channel module relay that converts two traditional single-pole in wall light switches into smart switches, which can be controlled remotely on your smart phone app from anywhere seperately or in group. You can create the automation for the two switches by setting the timer schedules, dust-to-dawn, smart scene independently, or together with compatible ORVIBO smart home products. Via the dual relay switch, your current two switches can work with Alexa, Google Home and Siri voice. The dual relay switch is for indoor use only. Neutral wire is required. It works with single-pole light switches, does not work with 3-way switches or dimmer switches.

  • The device must be installed and used in compliance with NEC Please read the instructions carefully and completely before installation. The installation process of this product involves strong electricity. It must be installed by professionally qualifhied electricians in accordance with the electrical specifications and product instructions. Failure to comply with the product instructions may endanger your life.

  • Be sure to install when the circuit breaker is off
    WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK OR FIRE

  • This product is for indoor use only, please do not leave the product exposed after installation to prevent the risk of electric shock

  • Pay attention to moisture, do not spill water or other liquids on thisproduct

  • There is a strong current on the signal line. When connecting the signal line, make sure that the circuit breaker is turned off. Do not expose the metal of the unconnected signal line.

  • Don’t try to repair this product by yourself, it should be repaired by authorized professionals.

  • ACheck the load type table before installation

Load type / Maximum load

  • Incandescent lamp/halogen lamp (resistive load): 300W

Product Installation

  1. Remove the Wallplate

    • Turn off the circuit breaker, unscrew and remove the wallplate from the switches.

  2.  Label Wires in the Junction Box

    •  Turn on the circuit breaker
    •  Use an electrical tester to identify the load, ground and neutral wires.
    • Turn off the circuit breaker
    • Mark the load, neutral, ground and other lines from the junction box
    •  Disconnect and remove the two single-pole switches completely. ADo not touch the wire or metal with hand.
  3. Connect with the Light Switches

    • Switch 1
      Wire the signal line set S1A and S1B (White) from the relay switch to a single-pole switch according to the wiring diagram below.

    • Switch 2
      Wire the other signal line set s2A and S28 (black) from the relay switch to the second single-pole switch according to the wiring diagram below.ORVIBO

    • Wire the signal line set S1A and S1B(White) from the relay switch to a single-pole switch according to the wiring diagram below,

    •  Install and tighten the wire connector on Load 2.

  4. Connect with the Junction Box

    • Make sure the circuit breaker is powered off.
    • Connect load wire L1 from the relay switch to a load wire in the junction box;
    • Connect load wire L2 from the relay switch to another load wire in the box;
    •  Connect line wire L from the relay switch to line wire in the junction box;
    •  Connect neutral wireN from the relay switch to the netural wire in the box
    • Put the relay switch into the junction box, attach the antenna to the box or the side of the box. Keep antenna away from metal parts to avoid signal interruption.
  5. Put the switch into the junction box, install the wall plate. Turn on the circuit breaker

Device Network Configuration

After the installation, you need add the relay switch to your smart home network so that you can control your light fixtures via your mobile phone app, via Alexa, Google Home and Siri. Follow the 3 configuration steps below:
Download the App

  • Go to your APP store or Google Play
  • Search “ORVIBO Home”or
  • Scan the QR code with your mobile phone;
  • Download the app
  • Register a new account or login if you have already an account

Set the Device to Configuration Mode

  • Go to the Home page of the App
  • Tap on “+ at the upper right corner
  • Select the Smart Dual Relay Switch under “Switch & Outlet” tab
  • Turn on the circuit breaker
  • When the light blinks slowly, check then hit”Add now
    *if the light doesnt blink, you need repeatedlly turn on off the light switches for 6 times within 10 seconds, wait for the light to blink slowly

Add the Device to Smart Home
Connect the device to 2.4Ghz WiFi Make sure the WiFi name shown in the form is 2.4Ghz not 5Ghz, otherwise, choose the 2.4Ghz WiFi in the dropdown menu

Utilize the App Feature

Set timing
In the mobile app, touch the switch icon to turn on off the switch; To set the timer, tap on the “..”on the switch from your mobile.

Set countdown

You can edit the schedule by setting the time, sunrise, sunset and device actions

Create Scenes

Smart scene control allows you to control multiple devices together at one touch, via a voice command or by a scene timer Go to the scene page Tap “+” to create a new scene Folow the 4 steps:

  1.  Name the new scene
  2. Add Execution Task where you can choose your devices, then tap ” back to step 3
  3. Set action on each device
  4. Set the time delay different from each other, save to finish Swipe any scene to left, you can edit or set up timer on the scene

Voice Control Via Siri

Do not have an Alexa or Google Home device? If you have an Apple mobile device, you can enable Siri voice control to the scenes you created. Go to “Me”, find Siri. Click “Add to Siri” to Customize your voice control from your Apple devices to home Appliances. *Siri only works with scene You can also enable Siri voice Control when you create the scene. Siri voice command starts with “Hey, Siri..”

Support Alexa and Google Home
Tap “Me on the bottom menu of your app, then you can acess Amazon Alexa and Google Home from the “Services” tab. Follow the Alexa or Google Home guide to discover and add your Orvibo devices or the scenes you created by their names, then create routine to set up the voice control, or group with other smart devices in your Alexa or Google Home app
Family Management
Tap Family Management on your “Me page, you can invite your family member and assign permission to them.

Trouble Shooting

Reset to Configuration Mode

During the network configuration, if the light doesn’t blink slowly after tuning on the cirCuit breaker; or re-configuration is needed, you can follow the guide below to reset the device to confhguration mode. You can reset after the installation completed Quickly turn on turn of the light repeatedly for 6 times within 10 seconds, till the light flashes slowly for 5 times, indicating the device is reset successfully and ready to be configured..

Wall-switch Type Change
If the wall switch status does not correspond to the actual light status, check your switch type and change it to the right switch type.

  1. Turn on one of the lights of the Smart Wi-Fi Relay Switch in the APP
  2. Select the panel type to switch on the lamp setting page. There are 2 panel types. Rocker, Toggle Switch, or Push Button Switch.

Delete Switch
If there is only one switch in the switch box, or you don’t want to control the second switch, you can block or delete another unused switch in ORVIBO Home” Method 1. After the device is successfully added, disable the unwired switch or the second switch you do not want to control in the settings

Method 2: In the APP, delete the unused lights in the setting page.

When both lights are disabled/ de leted, the device will be deleted. If you need to retrieve the disabled/deleted lights, you need to rebind the device

Warranty Range And Duration

One year warranty applies to most ORVIB0 products unless specified at the time of purchase. Accessories included with the main device and batteries have a waranty of six months when buying ORVIBO products, the product warranty remains measured from the time it was bought by the original owner. Any other promises made by dealers beyond the guarantee of ORVIBO, ORVIBO will not assume any liability. The following cases do not belong to free repair scope and ORVIBO will provide paid services. Please note. Fill to provide warranty card and related sales invoices. Cleaning of product and wear loss under normal circumstances (such as natural loss of casing, inserting components, aging and wear). Any product failure or damage caused by installation, usage maintenance, and storage that are not in accordance with usage instructions. Alter or tear up barcode on products or warranty card without authorization. For those beyond change or warranty period. Product serial number or type on waranty card does not match the product itself. Without getting the permission of ORVIBO, change its inherent structure circuit privately, or dismantling or modifying without authorization. Product damage caused by accident, human abuse/misuse, such as output short circuit, high-voltage input, overload work, high temperature, water inflow, mechanical damage, broken serious oxidation or rusty and etc. Damage caused by transportation loading and unloading on the way of retum for repair. Product failure or damage caused by force majeure such as earthquake, fire, flood lightning and so on. Product failure or damaged caused by any problem other than product design, technology, manufacturing, quality and others. Accessories are not included in free repair scope. This regulation shall come into effect since the issuing date. ORVIBO will keep the final interpretation right and revise.
