MPM MZP-01 Steam Ironing Device
GUIDELINES FOR SAFE USE
-
Read the Instruction manual carefully before first use.
-
Insert the device’s power plug to an earthed power socket.
-
Pay special attention if there are children around! Do not let anyone touch the
device during steam ironing. -
Do not immerse the device, cable or plug in water or other liquids!
-
Do not leave a device connected to power supply unattended.
-
Do not hang the cable on sharp edges and do not let it touch hot surfaces.
-
Regularly check if the power cable is not damaged.
-
Do not use a damaged device, this also applies to damaged cable or plug, have
the device fixed shop. -
Always disconnect the plug when not using the device.
-
Before starting cleaning and before attaching or removing accessories from the
device, unplug the cable plug from socket and wait for the device to cool down completely. -
Disconnect the device from power supply when filling the tank with water or
draining water. -
Never touch the heating heel of an operating device.
-
Pour only water to the tank. It is recommended to use distilled water to avoid
scaling on the internal elements of the device. -
Fill the device with water only, do not add any chemicals as such agents might
damage the device. -
Do not touch the hot metal parts, hot water nor steam to avoid scalding.

Use the device only according to its purpose.
-
The device is designed for household use only.
-
Using the device outdoors is prohibited.
-
Do not open the water tank during steam ironing.
-
Place the device on stable surface when not in use.
-
Do not use the device if it fell, has visible damage or if water is leaking from the
device. -
This device may be used by children at the age at least 8 and persons with reduced physical and cognitive capabilitie, or persons inexperienced with the use of the device or without proper knowledge, only under supervision or instruction on the safe use of the device including the possible risks. Children without supervision shall not clean nor maintain the device.

Store the device and power cable out of reach of children under 8.

Do not let children play with the device or accessories.
After completing ironing drain any water left in the device.
Under no circumstances press clothes or materials actually worn by people or
animals. -
Never direct steam to people or animals.

Do not remove the power plug from a socket by pulling.
-
Do not try to insert plug into socket using wet hands.
-
Do not wind the power cable around the device until it cools down.
-
Do not place the device near electrically or gas powered stoves, burners, ovens etc. The equipment was not designed for operation with external remote time-lag
switchers or a separate remote adjustment system -
If the device has a base for putting away, make sure the surface on which the
base was placed is stable. -
Before starting the device check if the available supply voltage conforms with
specification on the device’s nameplate -
For the safety of children, do not leave packaging elements freely (plastic bags,
boxes, polystyrene etc.)
WARNING Do not let children play with foil. Danger of suffocation. -
Place the device at least 20 cm from wall and other heat or steam sensitive materials.

Ensure a proper empty space is available on all sides of the device for air circulation.
-
Do not fill water above the MAX marking because it may result in leak.
-
Be careful during use of the device due to generation of water vapour.
-
Do not let the cable touch hot surfaces.
-
Do not used the device without water. This may damage the device.
-
Do not use the device for cleaning electrical equipment nor wiring.
-
Do not touch hot surfaces. Before installing or removing accessories, turn the device off and wait for cooling down.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Take out the device from the box and remove all protective cardboard elements and foil.
- Unwind and straighten the cable before use.
NOTICE SMOKE MAY COME OUT OF device DURING FIRST USE. THIS SHALL STOP AFTER A SHORT WHILE.
PREPARING FOR USE
FILLING WATER TANK

Make sure the device is unplugged from the mains.

Press the two buttons (6) to release the water tank, and remove water tank (7).
-
Open the water tank inlet cover (7a).
-
Fill the tank with water to the maximum level. Check the water level by putting the tank in an upright position.
NOTICE! Do not fill the tank above the MAX line. For best results and to prevent scaling, use fresh demineralized or distilled water. Do not use decalcified water produced using chemical methods nor any other liquids. -
Close the water tank inlet cover (7a).

Insert the water tank back into the device.
ATTACHING ACCESSORIES
- To attach brushes, unplug the device from mains and wait for the device to cool down.
- Firmly hold the device with one hand, and use the other hand to attach the brush so the notches in the brush align with grooves in the device’s working section, you will hear a click when the brush locks. To remove a brush, hold the device and pull handle in the bottom part of the attachment.
NOTICE! Always unplug the steamer before attaching or removing a brush
attachment. Be careful — steam heel may still be hot!
The brushes improve steam penetration of thick and heavy fabrics thus ensuring
better re-sults. The brush attachments are designed for use with steam.
USING THE DEVICE

Insert power cable’s plug (8) into an earthed electrical socket. The indicator lamp (4) starts blinking.

Steamer will start heating up and be ready after approx. 30 seconds. This is signaled by indicator lamp (4) lit continuously.

When the device becomes ready for use, press steam activation button (5). Before starting ironing, direct the steam away from the garment for a few seconds because the initial stream may contain drops of water.

Do not release the steam button during steam ironing (5). It may be blocked using a lock in the button
(see fig. 1). -
If you are not using a brush accessory during steam ironing, keep the steamer’s heel at a distance of 5 cm from the fabric.

Move the steam heel towards the garment during ironing. At the same time pull the garment’s sides to straighten it.
NOTICE! Do not direct the steam directly on metal accessories. Be careful when ironing around metal accessories. -
After completion of steam, ironing release the steam button (5). To make the ironing of garment elements easier, hang them on the coathanger. In the case of a shirts button, the first button at the collar makes the straightening of the fabric easier.
NOTICE! Do not hold the garment with a naked hand during steam ironing. Do not place steam heel on the power cable after use.
Small wet points may appear during steam ironing. A garment may become
slightly moist because of steam.
Leave the garment after ironing to dry before putting it on or putting it
away.
NOTICE! The steamer is designed for use in an upright position. Avoid
steam ironing in a horizontal position and do not place the steamer upside
down.
NOTICE! The water pump makes a silent buzzing sound during work after
pressing the steam button. The sound of the operating pump increases when
there is no water in the tank. Refill the water tank.
The steamer has an automatic switch-off function. It is activated when the
device is inactive for a long while. The activation of this function is
signalled by the blinking of the indicator (4).
NOTICE! The steamer produces water vapor at an extremely high
temperature! The danger of scalding. Do not direct steam on people or animals!
AFTER IRONING
- Switch off the device using a power switch (5).
- Unplug the power cable’s (8) plug from the electrical socket.
- Empty the water tank (7).
- Store the device in a safe location, in an upright position and wait for the steamer to cool down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
NOTICE! Never immerse the device in water and do not rinse it in tap water.

Wipe off any sediment from the steam heel (2) using a moist cloth and a liquid cleaning agent free of abrasive elements.
NOTICE! To protect the heel surface from unscratched, do not place the device near any metal objects. Do not use scratchpads, vinegar nor any other chemical agents for cleaning the steamer. -
Wipe the device housing with a moist cloth.

Rinse the water tank (7) regularly and empty it after rinsing.
STORAGE
- Switch off the device using the power switch (5) and unplug the power cable from the main socket.
- Empty the water tank (7).
- Wait for the steamer to cool down. Carefully wind the power cable around the device.
- Always store the device in an upright position on a stable surface.
- Do not place the device near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Always make sure that steam openings are clean and free from impurities.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Problem Possible solution
The steamer does not heat up| Check main plug is inserted correctly. Check power supply.
Check power button.
The steamer does not produce steam| Check the water level and the water tank inlet cover is properly covered. Press the steam activation button harder.
Hold the steamer in an upright position.
Water spills from the water tank| Make sure water is not over the MAXIMUM level. Make sure water tank inlet cover is properly closed.
Always use the steamer in an upright position as per the operating instructions.
The steamer is producing a loud humming or pumping sound| Check water level;
if there is no water or it is low, refill the water tank.
The steamer does not seem to be removing creases easily| Hold the steamer in
an upright position and stretch the fabric downward to ensure the best
results.
Unsure when to use the fabric brush| Use when steaming is to directly touch
the fabric.
When steaming delicate fabric, such as silk to reduce the risk of water dripping onto the garment while steaming.
Avoiding discoloring of metal accessories on the garment| Do not directly hover the garment steamer over the metal accessories. Use caution and steam around the metal accessories.

Poland Marking on the product indicates that after the service life of the
product expires, it should not be disposed of with another type of municipal
waste. Used equipment may have a negative impact on the environment
and health of people due to potentially containing hazardous substances,
mixtures, and components. Mixing electric waste with other types of waste or
disassembling those in an unprofessional manner may cause
a release of substances that are hazardous to the environment and health. Used
equipment should be handed over to a point for the collection of electric
waste. In order to obtain detailed information regarding the electric waste
collection points, the user should contact the municipal point of electric
waste collection or the user equipment processing department.
