INSTRUCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH USE SAFETY

Before use thoroughly read the operation manual.

  • Extreme care is required in case of children’s presence in the vicinity of the appliance!
  • Do not use your appliance for any other purpose except of its assignment.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other fluids.
  • Do not leave the appliance without supervision in the course of its operation.
  • Always pull out the plug from the socket unless the appliance is used or before its cleaned.
  • Do not use the appliance in case of its damage, also if its cord or plug is damaged – in such case the appliance should be handed over to an authorized service shop for repair.
  • Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  • Do not hang the cord on any sharp edges and prevent any contact with hot surfaces.
  • Never fill the jar above the maximum level nor under the minimum level – boiling water splashes are possible in case of an overfilled kettle
  • Before the kettle is placed on the base, make sure it is switched off.
  • The kettle lid must be closed in the course of water boiling.
  • Use the kettle with its associated base exclusively.
  • Do not stand the appliance in the vicinity of electric and gas cookers, burners, ovens etc.
  • Use the kettle for water boiling only.
  • Do not touch the enclosure surfaces in the course of water boiling, this surface may be hot
  • Use the kettle with its associated filter only.
  • The appliance should be connected to the socket with a grounding pin
  • The device is intended for domestic use only.
  • This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance (including the accessories).
  • This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children (including the accessories).
  • Do not remove the plug from the mains by pulling by the cord.
  • If water gets into any electric elements inside the kettle or onto the base, carefully dry these elements before plugging the kettle to the mains.
  •  Do not operate the kettle when empty.
  • The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system
  • Do not plug the power cord with wet hands.
  • Allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the packaging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).

WARNING! Never let children play with plastic film or bags.

The kettle has double-walls which guarantees a long period of high temperature.

BEFORE USE

  1. The kettle should be placed upright of flat, stable, and dry surfaces.
  2. Prior to the first use, fill the kettle with water to max level, boil it, then empty and rinse with fresh water. Repeat it few times to remove production dust, etc.
  3. The kettle will turn off automatically after the water boils. However, it may be turned off by the user at any time by moving the “on/off” switch ❺ to the off position, if necessary.
  4. After the water has been boiled or the kettle has been switched off, wait several seconds before switching it on again.
  5. The empty kettle will be automatically turned off by its overheating protection system. In such case the kettle should be allowed to cool for 15 minutes before its refilling

HOW TO USE THE KETTLE

  1. Remove the kettle from its base before filling it with water ❻.
  2. Open the kettle’s cover pushing the ❸ button, pour water to a desired level (however, not less than 0,5 l and do not exceed the level of 1,7 l).
  3. Pushing the button close the cover ❷ accurately.
  4. Place the kettle on the base ❻.
  5. Switch the kettle by means of the switch ❺. When the water comes to a boil the kettle will turn off automatically.

IMPORTANT NOTE! The kettle may be used with its base delivered in the scope of the purchased model. Do not ever open the kettle lid in the course of water boiling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE! The kettle should be regularly descaled in accordance with the instructions included below. Always unplug the cord of the power base before cleaning and allow the jar to cool down.

  1. Fill the jar with water mixed with vinegar or lemon juice (citric acid) or a special descaling agent available in the shops selling the household equipment.
  2. Let the mixture soak in the kettle for an hour and boil the water thereafter.
  3. Empty the kettle and rinse the inside thoroughly with cold.
  4. Repeat this action up to three times, if necessary.
  5. In order to eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil and remove water several times.
  6. Wipe the jar inside and outside with a cloth.
  7. Failure to descale your kettle may result in its damage.

WARNING! Never immerse the device or the base in water or other liquids. This may result in electric shock or fire.
CAUTION! Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents. Clean the housing with a damp cloth and wipe dry

Marking on the product indicates that after the service life of the product expires, it should not be disposed of with other types of municipal waste. Used equipment may have a negative impact on the environment and health of people due to potentially containing hazardous substances, mixtures and components. Mixing electric waste with other types of waste or disassembling those in an unprofessional manner may cause a release of substances that are hazardous to the environment and health. Used equipment should be handed over to a point for collection of electric waste. In order to obtain detailed information regarding the electric waste collection points, the user should contact the municipal point of electric waste collection or the used equipment processing department.
