Installation instructions
- Measure the belly height of your cat. Mark this height on your door with an (X).
- Place the template on the desired location and align it to the door using the marked height (X). Trace the outline.
- Before cutting, drill a small hole in the area that you traced. Use this hole to cut along the marking using a coping saw or jig saw.
- Now insert the front frame (operating element) on the inside of the door (4a), centre it and attach it to the door using the supplied screws (4b). Cover the screws using the supplied plastic caps. Insert the tunnel extension into the operating element from the other side of the door and then attach via the supplied adhesive strips.
Tip : To help your cat get used to the Cat Flap, we recommend holding the
Flap open and enticing
your cat to go through using some food. Repeat this as often as necessary.
Note :
- keep the packaging for future reference!
- When there are small children in the household: please note the child lock to protect children from possible dangers.
- The Flap should be sealed completely if you are going to be away for an extended period of time, and if necessary, also place heavy objects in front of it.
- Before installation of the Cat Flap, make sure that your insurance coverage remains unaffected in case of a break-in.
- This product does not prevent undesired animals or persons, including small children, from entering through the front door.
Function
- In only : allows cats to enter the house. However, the way out is thus blocked.
- Out only : allows cats to exit to the outside. However, the way in is thus blocked.
- Open : Gives cats unlimited access into the house and to the outside.
- Closed : Blocks cats from entering and exiting the house. The door is closed.
