How to Charge the Power Bank

Using a Wall Charger
Using the supplied micro USB cable, connect the IN port on the power bank to a standard USB wall charger (not supplied)

Using a Computer
Using the supplied micro USB cable, connect the IN port on the power bank to the USB port of a laptop or computer. When charging from a computer, the charging speed will be slower than charging from a wall charger or car cigarette socket.

Using a Car Cigarette Lighter Socket
Using the supplied car charging cable, connect the NB port on the power bank to a cigarette lighter socket or auxiliary power port on a car.When charging via the NB port using the car charger, the power bank may not fully charge to 100%. It may stop charging at 98% or 99% which is normal operation when charging via the NB port and should not be cause for concern.

During charging, the Lightning Bolt charging symbol will be displayed on the LCD display screen, the charging input power will be displayed (W) and the battery capacity percentage will start to increase. Once the power bank is fully charged, the LCD display screen will switch itself off automatically

Please Note
Charging via the car cigarette lighter socket is the fastest way to charge the power bank.

How to Charge a Laptop or Notebook

  • Determine the voltage of your laptop. You can get this from the user manual or from the label on the original AC power adapter Press and hold the power button for three seconds to enter the voltage selection mode
  •  The voltage indicator on the LCD display screen will flash
  •  When it starts flashing, release the power button
  •  Repeatedly press the power button to cycle through the output voltages until you reach the voltage of your laptop
  •  Available voltage outputs are 12V / 16.5V / 19V / 20V / 24V
  • The last selected output voltage will remain selected even when the power bank is turned off until you re-select a new output voltage Choose the appropriate power tip that fits your laptop from the table in this manual
  •  Connect the tip to one end of the included DC power cable
  •  Connect this end to the power socket of your laptop
  •  Connect the other end of the cable to the NB port on the power bank
  •  Press the power button to start charging your laptop.

How to Charge a Smartphone or Tablet

  •  Using your phone, tablet or other USB devices’ charging cable, connect to either of the two USB ports.
  •  Press the power button to start charging
  •  When your phone or tablet is fully charged, the power bank will automatically turn itself off
  •  For an iPhone, iPad, standard smartphone, tablet or other USB device, use either standard 5V/2.1A USB 1 port or the QC2.0 USB 2 port
  •  For a Quick Charge compatible device such as a Samsung Galaxy S8, S7 or S6, use the QC2.0 USB 2 port
  •  When the QC2.0 port is charging in Quick Charge mode, the USB 1 port will be disabled

Abnormal Charging Code
If the power bank experiences an abnormal charging condition, the power output will be automatically cut off. The LCD display screen will show one of the following abnormal codes below:

  • OV: Over Voltage Protection
  • OC: Over Current Protection
  • UV: Under Voltage Protection
  • OT: Over Temperature Protection

To reset the power bank, press the power button

  • Do not charge the power bank and your device at the same time. It may cause the power bank to overheat.Store power bank in a cool and dry place. Do not store in hot or humid environments e.g. In a car or directly in the sun.
  •  Power bank usage by children should be supervised.
  •  Do not put your power bank in a handbag, backpack or other bag where small metal objects can cause a short circuit.
  •  Do not dispose of power bank in heat or fire.
  • All Comsol power banks have safety power cut off features to stop overcharging & overheating. However, we recommend disconnecting the power bank once it is fully charged and removing all cables.When charging a device, the power bank may feel warm, this is a normal operating condition & should not be cause for concern.In normal conditions, battery performance will decline over several years.
  • Operating temperature should be between 10˚c to 45˚c.
