INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before normal use of the appliance, the accumulator must be charged. The run time after charging depends on the appliance load, and is approximately 80-100 minutes. Use the appliance with the connected power USB cable other USB charger or mobile power.
Charging
- Please confirm the voltage of the external electric device is 5 V / 500 mA (at least) before charging it.
- Fully charge the appliance before using it for the first time or after no use over a long period of time.
- Continuous charging will reduce the accumulator service life.
- Make sure the appliance is off.
- Put the provided charge micro-USB cable into the charging slot of the unit, and connect the other charger compatible AC wall adapter or mobile power.
- It takes approximately 90 minutes to fully charge the appliance.
- Do not exceed the aforementioned time of charging! The operation of charging of the accumulator is indicated by the “red” flashing indicator A8.
- After charging will turn „green“ when the battery is fully charged. Unplug the adaptor from the wall socket first and only then unplug the connector from the appliance.
Optimize the accumulator service life
- Do not charge for more than 90 minuts.
- Do not leave the USB cable permanently plugged in the appliance.
- The foot file can be operated from the outlet with the USB cable charger connected (the accumulator must be recharged partially) or only from the charged battery.
- The indicator A8 will turn „red“ when the accumulator is indicated in low. A1 button
- when you press and hold the button (for approx. 2 s) = the foot file will switch on, low speed,
- when pressed shortly for the second time = high speed,
- when pressed shortly for the third time = low speed,
- when you press and hold the button (for approx. 2 s) = the foot file will switch off.
Use
Wash and dry your skin well before using the appliance. By pressing the A1 button the foot file will switch on at a low speed. If you wish to increase the speed, press the A1 button for a short time again (the indicator light A7 will come on). Put the rotating roller to the skin you want to treat. Move the head around by slow motions (forward and back, from one side to another), or by circular moves, without excessive pressure, until the callused skin is removed. We recommend switching off the appliance in regular intervals during the skin treatment to check visually or by touch, if the desired skin fineness has been achieved. After you achieve the softness you wish, immediately switch off the appliance pressing and holding switch A1 (about 2 seconds). Wash the treated skin, dry well and apply any „suitable“ hydration cream.
Recommendation
- We recommend a shorter time of application to start with, because even when the appliance is correctly used, skin of some individuals may show a hypersensitive reaction (e.g. becoming red or steamed up). Therefore you should limit the application time and continuously check the skin reaction.
- If the „callus“ is too big or too hard, you have to treat it repeatedly, at certain intervals.
- Put the appliance head on your skin, slightly press down, and gradually increase the pressure; however you should always feel comfortable.
- If you feel the roller touches healthy skin, or the callus has been completely removed, stop using the appliance.
ATTENTION
- Do not exert excessive force on the appliance. If you increase the pressure on the appliance, the roller rotation speed will decline or it may completely stop for safety reasons. Blocking the roller might cause damage to the appliance. If the appliance blocks, recharge it.
- Do not use on the same skin area for more than 2–3 seconds.
- If you feel pain, irritation or have other uncomfortable feelings, stop using the appliance.
Head replacement
The roller gradually becomes blunt by using, therefore it is necessary to
replace it after some time. Switch off the appliance, press the arrestment
button A3 and remove head B by pulling it out gently. Mount a new head (with
correct orientation) in place (click will be heard). Replace the head once it
is no longer possible to clean it properly, if it is worn out or damaged.
Spare heads are available at network stores, (ETA234890100 – fine,
ETA234890200 – medium, ETA234890300 – coarse).
MAINTENANCE
Clean the appliance after every use! Wipe the appliance surface and power
adapter (only when disconnected) with a soft moistened cloth.
Do not use abrasive and aggressive cleaning agents! Remove the skin residues
from the roller by brush. The appliance head B may be rinsed in clear running
water. You may use appropriate disinfection agents, where desired. However
always follow the instructions provided on the packaging of the
cleaning/disinfecting agents. After cleaning, let the appliance dry well. The
travel case D is for storing the appliance and attachments.
A guarantee of 24 months does not apply to a decrease in the accumulator’s
effective capacity caused by its use or age. Effective capacity gradually
decreases depending on the method of use of the accumulator.
Expert service must do the large maintenance or to intervene into inside parts
of the appliance! Non-observance of the instructions of the manufacturer
cancels the right for guarantee repair!
ENVIRONMENT
If the dimensions allow, there are labels of materials used for the production of packing, components and accessories as well as their recycling on all parts. The symbols specified on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. (i.e. let the pedicure set run until its motor stops). Screw out all bolt and
open the pedicure set. Gradually disconnect and remove the batterie.
