SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Before commissioning this kettle please read the instruction manual carefully.
- Please keep the instructions, the warranty card, the sales receipt and,if possible, the gift box with the inner packaging.
- Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use.Pull on the plug,not on the cable.
- Test the electrical kettle and cable regularly for damage.If there is any damage, please do not use it.
- If the supply cord is damaged,it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not repair the device by yourself,but rather consult an authorized expert.
- Keep the electrical kettle and the cable away from heat, direct sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and such like.
- Only use original accessories.
- If the kettle is overfilled,when boiling up the water, it may be ejected.
- Do not use the electrical kettle outdoors.
- Never place the electrical kettle in water or other liquid,or come into contact with such.Do not use the electrical kettle with wet hands.
- Should the electrical kettle become moist or wet, remove the mains plug from thesocket immediately.
- In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliances,never leave the children unsupervised with the electrical kettle. Place your kettle in a position that children can not reach.Take care that the cable does not hang down.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Special Instructions
- The kettle must be placed on a stable, flat and dry surface.
- Before first use fill the kettle up to the maximum level,boil the water, pour it out and rinse the kettle. Repeat the procedure several times to remove manufacturing deposits, etc.
- The kettle turns off automatically when the water has boiled.If necessary you may turn it off using ON/OFF button (10).
- After the water has boiled or the kettle has been switched off, wait several seconds before switching it on again.
- If you switch the kettle on without water, the overheat protection will automatically shut the appliance off. Leave the kettle to cool down for about 15 minutes before refilling.

Notes on Device and Button Functions
- Min / Max capacity is 0.5 L / 1.0 L.
- Temperature control from 40°C to 100°C – each press is 1°C. Long-press each press is 5°C.
- Keep warm from 40°C to 95°C.
- Press [+] and [-] button at the same time to switch Fahrenheit mode and Celsius mode.
USE AND OPERATION
Heat Water
- Before filling with water, remove the kettle from the base (4).
- Open the lid and fill the kettle with water up to the desired level (between 0.5 and 1.0 L).
- After plugging the base to the power outlet, the display turns on for a moment, all buttons are lit and the appliance beeps twice which means that the base is connected to the power source and the kettle is placed on the base.
- Close the lid and place the kettle on the power base (4), the appliance beeps once, the display turns on and the ON/OFF button stars to flash blue. Below the horizontal line on the display you will see the current water temperature which will be visible for about 5 seconds.
- If you do not perform any actions, the kettle turns off automatically.
- Press the ON/OFF button (10) without setting other functions. The kettle turns on and beeps, the ON/OFF button will be lit red. The kettle boils water up to 100°C, then switches off automatically and beeps three times.
- If you just want to heat up the water, use the boiling temperature buttons [+] or [-]. Press once to change the temperature. The temperature setting will be shown on the display. You may select between the predefined temperature settings: from 40°C up to 100°C each 1°C. After reaching the desired temperature of water, the kettle switches off and beeps three times.
Keep Warm Function
If you want to select the keep-warm function, press the Keep warm function button (7), the keep-warm symbol will be shown on the display. In this mode press the button [+] or [-] to set the desired temperature.The temperature adjustment (increase and decrease) step is 1°C. The available range of temperature setting 40–95°C. In order to switch off the keep-warm function, press the keep-warm button (7) again or ON/OFF button (10) to switch off the kettle. Otherwise the water temperature will be maintained at a per-set level. If no action is taken for 30 minutes in the keep-warm mode, the kettle will switch off. Press the ON/OFF button (10) again to turn on the kettle (the kettle beeps once).
Important Notes on Use
- The kettle may be used only with the base attached.
- Do not open the lid when boiling water.
CARE AND CLEANING
Note: Before your cleaning, please unplug the electrical kettle and make sure
it has been cooled down. Never immerse any part of the cable, plug, power cord
base or
kettle in water or any other liquid.
Exterior of the Kettle
- Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a piece of damp cloth and then dry it with a piece of dry cloth.
- Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents as these may damage the finish of your kettle.
Descaling the Kettle
Over using a period of time, lime scale would be built up inside of your kettle. To remove lime scale:
Method 1
- Half fill the kettle with water and add the juice of a lemon.
- Boil up the water and allow it to stand for 15 minutes before discarding.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 several time, please using cold water only.
Method 2 (for stubborn deposits)
- Fill the kettle with water and vinegar or juice (citric acid) or use a special descaling agent available in household stores.
- Leave the kettle for 1 hour, then boil the water.
- Empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly with cold water.
- If necessary repeat the procedure 1-3 times.
- To eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil fresh water several times and pour it out.
- Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the kettle with a cloth.
Note: Do not use wire brush or any other abrasive objects. Do not clean the kettle with strong detergents.
