Congratulations on purchasing this device. Please read the following
instructions carefully and follow them to prevent possible damages. We assume
no liability for damage caused by disregard of the instructions and improper

TECHNICAL DATA
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read the instruction manual carefully before using this device, especially the safety instructions, and keep the instruction manual for future use.
- Do not use the appliance if it is wet.
- Do not use the appliance with a helpless person, an infant or a person insensitive to heat.
- Only use the appliance with the removable controller SS02.
- Clean the heating pad as described in the manual. Power Supply
- Before connecting the heat pad to the power supply, check that it is switched off and that the mains voltage of your power supply corresponds to the voltage listed on the label.
- Keep mains cable and control unit away from heat, humidity and liquids. Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet or when you are standing in water.
- Only operate the heating pad with the corresponding switch unit.
- Do not attempt to touch a heat pad which has fallen into water. Pull the plug out of the socket immediately.
- To disconnect the heat pad, always pull the mains plug out of the mains socket. Never pull on the cable!
- Do not carry, pull or twist the heat pad using the mains cable.
- Make sure that the power socket and plug are easily accessible so you can unplug the mains quickly if necessary. Lay the power cord so that there is no danger of tripping over it. The cable must not be bent, trapped or twisted. For Special People
- The device complies with the guidelines on electromagnetic compatibility. If you wear a pacemaker, this could be affected. Consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this device.
- If you have any medical concerns, please discuss using the heat pad with your doctor before using it.
- Do not use the heat pad for small children, infi rm or sleeping persons or persons who are insensitive to heat.
- Do not leave the heat pad unattended, especially not if used near children.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not use the heat pad on parts of the body which are swollen, infl amed or injured.
- Consult your doctor, if you have pain in muscles or joints for a prolonged period of time.
Operation
- Only use the heat pad as intended and in accordance with the instruction manual.
- This heat pad is intended only for private use and not for commercial purposes or for use in hospitals.
- The heating pad is subject to aging. Check heat pad, mains cable and control unit carefully for damage before each use. A faulty unit must not be used.
- Do not use the appliance if it is damaged, if its power cord is damaged, if it is not in perfect working order, or if it has been dropped or fallen into water, to avoid potential hazards.
- Keep the unit out of rain and do not let it get wet. It must not be used out-of-doors.
- Never place the unit immediately next to a heater or radiator.
- Ensure that the unit does not come into contact with pointed or sharp objects and do not push pins into it.
- The heat pad must not be used if it has been folded, bent or crushed.
- Do not use the heat pad when wet and only use it in dry environments (not in the bathroom or similar environments).
- The control unit must not be placed on or under the heat pad during operation and it must not be covered.
- Do not sit on the heat pad, but place it like a cushion on the body part, as required.
- Do not leave the heat pad unattended. Always switch off the heat pad when not in use and pull the plug out of the socket. Never use a time switch.
- Do not fall asleep while the heat pad is switched on and the plug is inserted into the socket.
- Ensure that you follow the safety notes, as prolonged use at a high setting can result in burns to the skin. Check the skin areas under the heat pad regularly to prevent burns or blisters.
- Do not apply creams or salves onto the area to be treated before using the heat pad. This could lead to burns.
- If use of the heat pad is unpleasant or painful, discontinue using it immediately.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- You may only clean the heat pad. To avoid potential hazards, you must never attempt to repair it yourself.
- Before cleaning the unit, switch it off and unplug it from the mains. Never immerse the control unit in water or other fluids.
- Let the heat pad cool down completely before storing it. Store it in a place that is dry and free from dust, preferably in the original packaging, until you use it next.
- If a fault occurs, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Repairs must only be carried out by an authorized specialist dealer or other suitably qualified personnel.

Use
- You can use the heat pad to heat and relax any part of the body.
- Use of the heat pad promotes blood circulation through sore muscles and increases wellbeing.
- The heat pad reaches a pleasant temperature within a few minutes of switching on.
- The temperature can be adjusted as required.
Operation
- Insert the mains plug into the socket and switch on the heat pad. To do this move the switch on the control unit to position 1, 2 or 3, as required. The switch clicks into each position. When the appliance is switched on, the regulating level appears on the operating control display. The higher the regulating level, the higher the temperature.
- To switch off the unit, move the switch completely back to position 0. If the operating control display goes out, the device is switched off.
- Move the selector switch to position 1 or 2 before falling asleep or any continuous use. The heat pad will switch off automatically after approx. 90 minutes of continuous use.
- Unplug the unit from the mains outlet once you have finished using it.
Switch positions
- 0 The heat pad is switched off, the operating control display is off.
- 1 Lowest heat level, the operating control display shows “1”. Level 1 is recommended for continuous operation.
- Middle heat level, the operating control display shows “2”.
- Highest heat level, the operating control display shows “3”.
Automatic cutout
- The heat pad is equipped with an automatic cutout. This switches the unit off after 90 minutes of operation, independent of the heat level selected. Return the switch to position ”0”.
- However, to switch the heat pad back on, move the switch back to position ”0” and then move it to the heat level required.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down for at least ten minutes.
- The heating pad is equipped with a detachable cable. Disconnect the plug and remove the cable from the heating pad.
- You may wash the heating pad gently by hand. The best way to do this is to put the heating pad in a bath with lukewarm water and some mild detergent and then gently squeeze it out.
- Rinse the heating pad several times to remove all the detergent.
- To dry, stretch the pad out on a flat surface.
- Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out flat with nothing covering or resting on top of it.
- Only use the appliance once it is completely dry
