Calibration:

  1. Obtain,or prepare pH calibration standards,of 9.18,6.86 and 4.01pH by following the instryctions on the included calibration packets and Calibration Guide in this manual.
  2. Turn on meter.
  3. Immerse the electrode into the pH 6.86 standard. Temperature should be 25℃(77℉).
  4. Press the “CAL”(calibration) button for 5 seconds and release.
    -Display will start flashing “6.86”.
-Wait until the display stops flashing. The meter is now calibrated to a pH of 6.86. Proceed to nest steps to calibrate to a pH of 4.01 and 9.18. It’s important to calibrate to at least 2 different set-points. Rinse the electrode with purified water and blot dry with a paper towel in between each calibration step.
  5. To calibrate to 4.01 pH immerse the electrode in pH 4.01 standard.
-Press “CAL” button for 5 seconds. The display will begin flashing “6.86”. Immediately press “CAL” button while it’s still flashing to cycle to “4.01”.
    -Display will start flashing “4.01”.
-Wait until display stops flashing. The meter is now calibrated to a pH of 6.86 and 4.01. Rinse and dry the electrode with purified water as before.
  6. To calibrate at 9.18 pH, immerse the electrode in pH 9.18 standard and follow the calibration steps for a pH of 4.01.But cycle through this value until “9.18” is flashing (i.e., skip the 4.01 step.). -Display will start flashing “9.18”. -Wait until display stops flashing. The meter is now calibrated to a pH of 6.86,4.01 and 9.18.
