Operation

It is recommended to always use the USB-C multi-port adapter with your computer’s power adapter connected to the USB-C PD charging port. This will provide power to the multi-port adapter while also providing power to charge your computer.
Connect the USB-C multi-port adapter to your computer by plugging the USB-C male connector into a USB-C port on your computer.
Connect your computer’s power adapter to the USB-C PD charging port. Supports up to 100W (20V 5A) power pass through.
Connect a monitor, TV, or projector to the HDMI port.
Connect USB devices to the two USB 3.0 ports. Supported devices include keyboards, mice, USB flash drives, portable HDDs, USB speakers or printers. The maximum data transfer rate is 5Gbps.
You can also use the two USB 3.0 ports to charge your phone or other USB devices. The maximum power output of each port is 5V 900mA. When both ports are used the maximum power output is 5V 1.5A. To charge a phone or a large external HDD that consumes a large amount of power, the computer’s power adapter must be connected to the USB-C PD charging port.
Connect an RJ45 network cable to the RJ45 Gigabit LAN port. This will connect your computer to a wired network. The green LED indicates the connection to a network. The yellow LED indicates network activity.

Trouble Shooting

If you are using the USB-C multi-port adapter to charge your phone or connect a large external HDD or other USB devices that consume a large amount of power, you must connect your computer’s power adapter.
If you are experiencing these connection problems, unplug and replug the USB-C multi-port adapter.
If your computer’s power adapter is disconnected, all device connections will be lost for a few seconds before reconnecting. During this time, data can be lost. Do not disconnect the power while transferring data to avoid data loss or corruption.
During operation, the USB-C multi-port adapter may become hot. This is normal and should not be cause for concern. To minimize heat, please use the adapter on a desk or table in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using soft pillows or blankets to avoid blocking the ventilation.
For a stable connection, do not connect multiple devices that consume large amounts of power. The adapter will only support one external HDD and charge only one phone.
