CAUTIONS
- Please insert the micro SD card in the right direction to avoid damage to the card or the device. If the device shows an error message, please format the micro SD card from the device menu. Please reset the device or change the micro SD card if a similar error continues. Note: All files will be deleted when formatting the micro SD cards. Please backup the important files before formatting takes place. When the reset function is selected, the settings will return to the default setting.
- Blaupunkt does not warrant the performance of the device if with the use of other Micro SD cards other than Blaupunkt Micro SD cards.
- New Micro SD card must be formatted for first use.
- Ensure the bracket is installed correctly & firmly on the windscreen to avoid damage to the device and for a better recording angle.
- Please do not use the product in a wet environment as the device is not waterproofed/water-resistant.
- Please do not record or take pictures facing sunlight.
- To obtain a clear image, please clean the windscreen and device lens regularly. Avoid using devices in dusty environments.
- Handle the device with care and avoid a direct impact on the device. Avoid using devices in high electromagnetic environments.
- The operating temperature of the device is -10°C — 60°C, and the storage temperature is -30°C — 80°C. Continuous exposure to sunlight, especially when locked in the cabin where the temperature exceeds 80°C may result to devise malfunction, color change, housing, and image distortion.

- If the power discharge protection is set to ION; motion detection will work as park recording mode. If the car battery voltage is lesser than the setting value of the cut-off voltage, the device will stop recording even at park recording mode.

Pair DVR and Smartphone
The range of distance between the DVR (with Wireless Control dongle) and
smartphone is approximately 10 meters (33ft) in an open field environment.

Note: Older files will be overwritten when the memory card is full and requires new storage space. Files will be overwritten according to file arrangement DRIVE/EVENT/PARK/PHOTO. Backup recordings regularly to prevent important files from being overwritten.
A) Extract Video from Micro SD
PC Viewer
- Go to www.blaupunkt.com/ase to download the PC viewer
- Remove microSD card from DVR
- Insert the microSD card into the PC (a card reader may be required)
- Open downloaded PC Viewer
- Select “File Search”, then select “FA” drive 6. Select videos by marking the check box on the right next to the scroll bar
- Select”Extract File”, then preferred saving folders to download the recordings.
- Refer to the preferred folders to playback the downloaded recordings.
App
- Go to App Store/ Play Store and search “Blaupunkt DVR BP10” to download the Wireless Control App
- Ensure the microSD card remains inside the DVR and that DVR is turned on
- Enter the downloaded APP to begin connecting to the DVR WiFi
- Select the “BP10.1…” to connect
- Enter the default password “12345678” for a first-time connection
- Return to the APP, and select “DVR FILE” to search for the preferred file to download
- Select the “Download” icon on the right, then select the preferred camera recording to download the files.
- Select”DOWN FILE” to playback the downloaded recordings.

B) Retrieve Password
- Installing the PC Viewer on PC
- Remove MicroSD card from DVR
- Insert MicroSD card to PC
- Search file name”menu.cfg”
- Open the file for DVR software version: BP10.1A.FH V2.3.5 (8 alphanumerics)

Power Cable Hardwiring
Use the hardwire power cable.- BATT (+): Connect the wire cable to the permanent power fuse box. (Ex.: Hazard light, dome light, tail light, etc)
- ACC (+): Connect the wire cable to the fuse that receives power through ignition. (Ex.: Cig lighter, audio system)
- GND: Connect the cable to the vehicle chassis or vehicle bolts.
