Drive safely with this speakerphone! Take your favourite music with you and listen to it on the common car radio without any installation and transformation! BT mode and MP3 player make the tracks audible through the original car audio system, which are stored on the inserted microSD device. FM modulator is ideal to extend the functions of car radios – which have unique design, so therefore not replaceable -, factory-built in to dashboard.

POWER SUPPLY, INSTALLATION

The device gets power from the 12 (24)-Volt cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle.

  1. Connect the device to the cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle. After the unit is inserted, do not try to rotate the plug in the socket! If the unit doesn’t stand to hand, pull it out and rotate to the correct position and then plug it into the outlet again. Connect the device –possibly – to the upper socket of the charger. You can use the bottom socket for telephone charging at the same time. Cumulated load ability is maximum 5V / 1,5A. Pay attention to the parameters of the device to be charged!
  2. Connect the unit – possibly – to the upper slot of the charger. The lower slot can be used for telephone charging at the same time. The cummulated maximum loadability is 5 V / 1,5 A. Take into consideration the parameters of the device to be charged!
  3. Switch on the car radio, and seek for a frequency where you do not hear a radio program, but only buzzing sounds. Apply the manual fine-tuning, not the automatic! Store this “empty” frequency to a memory-place. Later you have to recall the number of this place on the car radio, when you would like to use the FM modulator.
  4. Set this frequency on the FM modulator FM (9.), +/- (5., 7.), then you can start to use the appliance. After pushing the FM button, the display will be flashing, stepping can be made then. After pushing the stepping button, the display will be flashing, stepping can be made then..

LOCATION
With the help of the magnetic holder you can fix the equipment on dashboard. Clean the surface before sticking the holder. Locate it so as not to expose the unit to direct sunshine, and to handle it comfortably during driving. Arrow on the holder has to be directed upside.

USING BT FUNCTION

The device can be paired with other equipment which is communicating by BT protocol, within maximum 10 meters operation range. Following that, music which is played on mobile phone, tablet, notebook or other similar device, can be heard through the speakerphone. In case of telephone conversation, it is available to make it hands-free without touching the phone. After connecting it to the car, the LED below the display will be flashing in blue. Search for BT devices nearby, including this one, as shown in the instruction manual of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices to each other. In case of successful pairing the blue flashing will be slower. Following that, the phone conversation or the music played on the phone is audible through the speakers of the car.

  • One FM modulator can be paired with one BT appliance at the same time.
  • Actual operation range depends on the other device and environmental conditions.

Starting calls: start calls with your phone, you can listen to it through the speakers of the car.
Answering incoming calls: press button (6.) briefly and you can answer calls without touching the phone / with longer press, you can finish the conversation.
Rejecting calls: hold pressing button (6.) by an incoming call to reject it. Dialing: by a double pressing of a button (6.) you can redial the last called number.

START PLAYING
A., In case of active BT connection, you can listen to songs that are stored on the phone, through the speakers of the car. You can switch between play and pause functions with the button (2.). After longer pressing, the volume will be adjustable with +/- buttons and V00…V30 will be readable on the display, while after short pressing the tracks can be stepped back and forth. (Software of some telephones doesn’t support this function.)
B., Insert a microSD (1.) data source. The device detects it and playing will start automatically. Actual frequency the track number time will be displayed. When the device is used again, the last played program will be played on the last chosen frequency, even if the signal source and/or the modulator have been removed from the socket of the vehicle in the meantime. You can switch between play and pause functions with a button (2.), and step between songs with +/- buttons.

VOLUME CONTROL
Because of the difference between the encoding of car radios and MP3 files, volume adjustment of the broadcasted programmes through the FM modulator may needed. In ideal case same volume could be audible when listening to tracks through the modulator and other radio programs. Hold pressing of +/- (5., 7.) volume control buttons and the actual volume can be followed on the display: VOL 00…30.

  • The too high a volume level can cause distorted sound, while the lower level can cause bigger noise! Correct setting depends on the car radio, and the quality of the soundtracks and their modulation, as well as on the used compressing program.
