SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

| This manual contains safety and operating instructions. Please read it carefully before using the device for the first time and keep it for future reference. Read and understand the following safety instructions before use. Any modification or updates that are not specified in the instruction’s manual should not be undertaken. The manufacturer is not liable for any injury or damage due to noncompliance with the instructions featured in this manual. If there is any issue or uncertainty, please consult a qualified individual to operate the equipment correctly. This device must only be used for start-up and/or supply and/or vacuuming within the limits indicated on the device and in the manual. The operator must observe the safety precautions. In case of improper or unsafe use, the manufacturer cannot be held liable.
This device may be used by children from age 8 and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not use the device as a plaything. Cleaning and servicing tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.
Do not use for charging non-rechargeable batteries
Do not use any charger other than the one supplied with the machine to charge the batteries.
Do not use the device if the charging cable appears to be damaged or assembled incorrectly in order to avoid any risk of short circuiting the battery (NOMAD POWER charger). Never charge a frozen or damaged battery.
Do not cover the device
Do not place the device near a fire or subject it to heat or to longterm temperatures exceeding 50°C
Risk of explosion or acid splash if the clamps are short-circuited or if the 12 V booster is connected to a 24 V vehicle.
The automatic mode of operation and usage restrictions are explained below in these operating instructions.

| A battery being charged can emit explosive gas.

  • Avoid flames and sparks. Do not smoke.
  • Protect the electrical contacts of the battery against short-circuiting

Acid projection hazard!

  • Wear safety goggles and protective gloves

  • If your eyes or skin come into contact with battery acid, rinse the affected part of the body with plenty of water and seek immediate medical assistance.

Connexion / déconnexion :
|

  • Disconnect the power supply before connecting/disconnecting the device to/from the battery. • The terminal of the battery that is not connected to the car frame must be connected first. The other connection must be made on the car frame, far from the battery and the fuel line. The battery charger must be connected to the power supply network. • After the start-up operation, disconnect the booster. First remove the chassis connection and then the battery connection, in the order shown.

  • Warning! Always remove the power plug from the wall socket before carrying out any work on the device.
  • Under no circumstances should solvents or other aggressive cleaning agents be used.

Disposal

  • The battery must be removed from the device before the latter is discarded.
  • The battery must be dropped off at a suitable recycling facility

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Thanks to its high-performance lithium-ion battery, the NOMAD POWER VAC 350 performs 3 functions: · Instant start of vehicles equipped with a 12V battery (6 cells of 2V), such as Go-karts, motorcycles, cars, vans, etc.

  • Hand-held vacuum cleaner with a suction power (vacuum) greater than 4700 Pa.
  • Power supply via its USB port (5 V – 2 A). Most mobile phones, smart phones, portable gaming devices, MP3/MP4 players can be charged with the supplied USB C-type cable.

| Extreme outside temperatures or mechanical problems on the vehicle (poor starter, no fuel or engine problems) can limit the booster’s capacity.

INTERNAL BATTERY CHARGING

  1. Plug the USB cable (12) to a charger with a USB output (not supplied)
  2. Plug the USB-C end of the cable to the input port (4) of the NOMAD POWER start the charge

USE AS A BOOSTER

Emergency start function for petrol or diesel vehicles equipped with a 12 V battery.
To start a vehicle, proceed as follows:

1| | The NOMAD POWER must be at least 50% charged to make a start attempt. A full charge of the booster is recommended. Press the On/Off button (1) for a long time (> 3 s) to find out the charge status of your booster thanks to the charge indicators (3).

2| | Connect the smart start cable (9) to the connector (6) of the NOMAD POWER. The red and green LEDs (10) flash alternately
3| | 1- Connect the red clamp to the (+) of the battery.
2- Connect the black clamp as far as possible from a fuel hose or fitting and as close as possible to the starter ground. The power relay opens and closes while waiting to start-up. A sound is audible at every opening and closing.
4| | Start the vehicle
– If the vehicle does not start, wait 30 seconds between each start attempt.
– If the vehicle does not start after two attempts, the «forced start» function can be used.
5| | Press and hold the button (11), located on top of the smart start cable, for 3 seconds to initiate a forced start. The light on the starter cable turns steady green. Perform a start up within 30 seconds.
6| | After starting, disconnect the smart start cable (9) from its connector (6) and remove the 2 clamps from the vehicle’s battery terminals within 30 seconds.
Leave the vehicle running.
8| | After the start-up, if the internal battery is less than 80%, recharge the NOMAD POWER.
Wait at least 30 minutes after starting the vehicle to charge the NOMAD POWER.

If the starting fails or the NOMAD POWER fails, see the table below:

**Vacuum cleaner indicators

**

The vacuum cleaner is in working order The green light (1) is always on.

When the operating condition of the vacuum cleaner is abnormal, such as when a foreign object is blocked or when the motor is broken, etc., the vaccum cleaner will not work properly| The red indicator (1) flashes 3 times and then turn off automatically. To solve this problem, remove foreign bodies and restart the vacuum cleaner. If the light continues to flash 3 times and goes out automatically, contact us to confirm whether the motor is broken or not.
When the power is too low.| The red light (1) flashes 3 times and then goes out, it must be charged before it can be used normally.

Washable filters
The suction unit of the NOMAD POWER VAC 350 consists of 2 filters (7 ̶ 8) and a foam. The 2 filters are washable with water.

USE AS A POWER SUPPLY
  1. Plug your cable to the NOMAD POWER USB port 5V 2A (5) .
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to an electrical device with a USB Type-C input: mobile phone or tablet. The NOMAD POWER launches the charge automatically.

WARRANTY

The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:

  • Transit damage.
  • Normal wear of parts (eg. : cables, clamps, etc..).
  • Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
  • Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).

In case of failure, return the unit to your distributor together with:
– The proof of purchase (receipt etc …)
– A description of the fault reported
