WELCOME TO LEXI
USER GUIDE – WORK WITHOUT LEXI HUB

Please select the ENVIRONMENT (NO HUB) mode at the menu of LEXI App by selecting
“Add Environment/Hub” -
Make sure your mobile’s WiFi is turned on and connected to 2.4G band and turned on the location.

Power on your Thermal Scanner. Then, press and hold the WiFi Button (A) for 3-5 seconds until you see the WiFi logo at the display flashing.

Select “ADD NEW DEVICE” at the LEXI App and follow the instruction to complete adding the device(s). Once it the pairing was succeed, the WiFi Logo will stop flashing.

Your device is added to the LEXI system successfully and ready to use.

USER GUIDE – WORK WITH LEXI HUB
- If you are using a LEXI Hub, make sure its powered on and connected to the internet. Also, make sure your LEXI Hub is ready to add device(s) and work properly with the LEXI App at your smart devices. ( Detail instruction at the User Manual of LEXI Hub)
- Make sure your mobile’s WiFi is turned on and connected to 2.4G band and turned on the location.
- Power on your Thermal Scanner. Then, press and hold the WiFi Button (A) for 3-5 seconds until you see the WiFi logo at the display flashing.

INTRODUCTION
LEXI Smart Thermal Scanner is suitable for use in schools, offices, buses,
supermarkets, subways and other environments.
There are two installation methods; they’re wall-mount or using bracket.
As It is a touchless Infra-red digital Thermal Scanner, it reduces the risk of
cross-infection. The humanized design has an over-temperature warning sound
generated from the device and LEXI App/mobile.
Simple to use and high accuracy.

FUNCTION AND INDICATION DESCRIPTION -
Wall Hanging hole at the back side of Thermal Scanner.

WiFi’ button (A)– Press for 3 seconds, the icon flashing for 60second. If WiFi connection success, the icon will stop flashing. If not, the icon will not show on the screen.

Select’ button (B)- For measurement of Celsius or Fahrenheit

Up’ button(C) – Check for saved temperature record

Down’ button (D)-Check for saved temperature record
Remark: Reset function — Press Button A and B the same time and hold for 5 seconds to reset the device when the device has abnormal conditions. -

MEASUREMENT METHOD
- Locate the forehead or palm close to the middle sensor with a distance at 2-3inches apart from the device for 2 second.
- The measurement of body temperature will display on the device and followed with a single beep sound if the temperature is at healthy condition.
- If the user’s body temperature is higher than 99.14°F (37.3°C), the warning sound (fast beeping) will be come out from the device and at the same time your mobile will also has the warning signal. The indication of display will become RED at the mobile and device.
SELECTION OF CELSIUS/FAHRENHEIT
- Short press the select Button B to switch the Celsius/Fahrenheit
- If you want to mute the sound of measurement, press the Select Button B and hold for 3sec for 3 seconds
WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS:
- Don’t use and storage at high temperatures and high humidity,
- Do not drop it by gravity, or knocking on the product will cause irreparable damage to the product.
- The product is for indoor use only. Do NOT be directly exposed to water, rain, sunlight, hot surface and outdoors.
- This product is not a toy designed to be played with by children.
- For safety reasons and under the terms of the warranty, none of the enclosed devices should be opened.
- Only use the adapter supplied (with rating at DC5V 1-2A), if using a different adapter can damage the product.
WARRANTY
LEXI provided one-year warranty is valid if the product is used in accordance
with the instructions and for its intended purpose. Claims will only be
accepted on submission of the original proof of purchase (invoice, sales slip
or receipt) stating the purchase date, the name of the dealer and a
description of the product with product ID labeled at the products. or
Instruction manual.
The LEXI’s warranty lapses if:
- Anything has been changed, crossed out, deleted or rendered illegible on the purchase docket or product description.
- The failure is caused by damage, faulty connections or abuse.
- A defect is caused by extreme circumstances not inherent to the product, for example, lightning, flooding, fire, incorrect use or negligence.
- The product has been opened or disassembled.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Ensure your device is within 60ft without an obstacle between either your LEXI Hub or your mobile phone (when being used without a Hub)
- Ensure your mobile phone has turned on both WiFi (2.4G band) and location services.
- Make sure the green light is not flashing. The flashing green light means the connection with WiFi is not success. Please re-connect the device with WiFi.
- Confirm device is paired with LEXI Hub or with your mobile phone
- You can un-pair the device by LEXI App when necessary.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Pay attention to the daily maintenance of the product, and clean the sensor
dust in time to obtain the best measurement accuracy.
Do not clean when the product is on and connected to mains power. To avoid
scratching, the product should only be cleaned with a soft dry cloth. Do not
use cleaning agents.
DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD PRODUCT
Your product is designed and manufactured with high-quality materials and
components, which can be recycled and reused. When
this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it means the
product is covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
Please find out for yourself about the local separate collection system for
electrical and electronic products. Please act according to your local rules
and do not dispose of your old products with your normal household waste. The
correct disposal of your old product will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health.
