Intended use

• The Nedis KAWK320EGS is an electric water kettle for boiling water.
• The product is intended for indoor use only.
• This product is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as kitchen areas.
• Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions

• WARNING
• Only use the product as described in this manual.
• Keep the product out of reach from children.
• This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Never fill the kettle over the “max”. Otherwise hot water can spill out of the kettle.
• Connect to a grounded outlet only.
• Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
• Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
• Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
• Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
• Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
• Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
• Only handle the product with dry hands. Handling with wet hands might cause an electric shock.
• Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
• Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling

Installing the product

1.  Remove all packaging.
2.  Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
3.  Fill the kettle to the max line and bring the water to a boil.
4.  Discard the water.
5.  Repeat 2 times to remove any dust or residue from the manufacturing process.

Boiling water

1. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.

2.  Press A1 to open A2.

3. Fill A4 with water.

   • Never fill the kettle over the “max”. Otherwise hot water can spatter out of the base.
   • Do not spill any water on the base.

4.  Close A2.

5.  Place A4 on A7.

6.  Connect Ae to a power outlet.

7.  Press Aq to switch on the product.
   A6 lights up.
   The kettle heats up until the water boils.

   • o not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
     A6 switches off.

8.  Ensure that the product is swithed off before removing it from its base.

   • Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.

Setting the water temperature

1. Press A9 to select the desired water temperature.
   One of the LEDs A8 lights up to indicate the selected temperature.

2. Press Aq.
   A6 lights up.
   The kettle heats the water to the desired temperature.
   A6 switches off.

Keeping water warm

1. Press A9 to select the desired water temperature.
2. One of the LEDs A8 lights up to indicate the selected temperature.
3. Press and hold Aq for 2 – 3 seconds.

A8 starts to flash and A6 lights up to indicate entering the keep warm function. When the water reaches the desired temperature, the kettle buzzes twice. After 30 minutes, the kettle will switch off.
