This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Product description
The Nedis HTPL20FWT / HTPL20FBK is a panel convection heater that allows the user to control the surrounding temperature.
Intended use
The product is intended for indoor use only.
This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.
It can be used in wet and damp environments.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Safety instructions
WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Disconnect the product from the electrical outlet and other equipment if problems occur.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Do not use the product in rooms where flammable liquids or gases are used or stored.
- Avoid direct sunlight.
- Do not place near other heat sources.
- Connect to a grounded socket only.
- Do not place the heater directly under a wall socket.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Do not subject the product to water jets.
- Do not cover the product when in use.
- Do not insert any objects into the product.
- Do not use solvents to clean the product.
- Do not extend the power cord.
- Do not use the product on a mobile socket.
- Do not pull the power cord to shut down the heater, always use the on/off switch.
- In case of failure, shut down the heater, unplug the power cord and have it serviced by a qualified technician.
Installation
Check that all parts from the parts list are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Determine whether you want the heater to be movable with wheels or to be mounted on the wall.
Movable with wheels
- Turn the heater upside down.
- Take a foot A 7 and 2 screws A 8.
- Use a screw driver to mount the foot to the heater.
- Repeat for the other foot.
- Turn the heater upright and plug the power cord in a grounded wall socket.
Wall mounted heater
WARNING
- Mount the product at least 150 mm from the floor and at least 500 mm from the ceiling.
- Do not mount the product directly under a wall socket.
- Check whether the wall can hold the weight of the product.
- Use anchors suitable for your type of wall only.
1. Drill 3 holes, as indicated.
The vertical measurement of 275 mm can deviate per product. Always check measurements before drilling.
2. Insert the anchors A 6.
3. Insert the screws A 5, let them protrude 6mm from the wall.
4. Hang the heater on the wall.
5. Plug the power cord in a wall socket.
Use
The product will switch off automatically when overheating.
Setting date and time
1. Turn on the power switch A 4.
2.Press A 10 to turn on the heater.
3.Press A 11 to turn on the display.
4.Press A 14 to open the date and time setting.
5.Press A 14 for 3 seconds to change the time.
6.Press A 12 or A y to change the hour.
7.Press A 14 for 3 seconds.
8.Press A 12 or A y to change the minutes.
9.Press A 11 to confirm the time and exit or wait for 5 seconds.
Setting the operating mode
ECO mode
|
Power is maximized at 1000 W, resulting in slower heating.

Comfortable mode
|
Power is maximized at 2000 W, resulting in faster heating.
Anti-frost mode
|
Activate heater when temperature drops below 5 °C. The heater returns to standby mode when the temperature has reached 9 °C.
Window open mode
|
Set heater to standby mode when the temperature drops by 5 °C within 10 minutes.
Press A 11 to switch between Eco Mode, Comfortable Mode or Anti-Frost Mode.
Press A 11 for 3 seconds to activate the Window Open Mode.
Setting the temperature manually
Press A 12 or A 15 to change the temperature.
Programming the heater
The heater can be programmed to switch on and off automatically at set times. Up to 6 intervals with different temperatures can be set per day.

To program the heater:
1. Press A 13 for 3 seconds.
2. Press A 14.
3. Press A 12 or A 14 to change the day (1 – 7: Monday – Sunday).
4. Press A 14 to select 1 of the 6 possible intervals for this day. Use keys A 12 and A15.
5. Press A 14 to set the start time (hour). The heating symbol A 34 lights up on the display. Use keys A 12 and A 15. The heating interval display A g graphically represents the on and off times.
6. Press A 14 to set the start time (minutes, steps of 10).
7. Press A 14 to set the stop time (hour).
8. Press A 14 to set the stop time (minutes, steps of 10).
9. Press A 14to set the temperature.
10. Repeat for a second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth interval if desired.
11. Repeat for every weekday.
Stored settings will be lost after a power cut.
Using the child lock
When activated, the child lock prevents operations on the control panel.
To activate the child lock, press A 12 and A 15 simultaneously for 3 seconds. The child lock symbol on the display A 25 lights up.
To deactivate the child lock, press A 12 and A 15 again simultaneously for 3 seconds. The child lock symbol on the display disappears.
Using the remote
The remote control can only be used when the heater is not running in programmed mode.
1. Open the lid on the backside of the remote and install 2 AA batteries.

Maintenance
- Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power. Let the product cool down for 10 minutes.
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Wait until residue moist is fully dry before reconnecting the power.
- Disconnect the power when the heater is not used for a longer period of time. Cover the heater to avoid accumulation of dust in the vents. Store in a dry place.

Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
