This document is the user manual and contains all the information for correct, efficient and safe use of the product.
This user manual is addressed to the end user. Read this information carefully before installing or using the product.

Product description
Intended use
The Nedis KAHB200CBK is a hand blender.
With the different speeds, this product can easily blend all kind of food.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
The product is intended for use in household environments for typical housekeeping functions that may also be used by non-expert users for typical housekeeping functions, such as: shops, offices other similar working environments, farm houses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments and/or in bed and breakfast type environments.
The product is intended for indoor use only.
This product is not intended for professional use.
Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

WARNING

- Only use the product as described in this document.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective product immediately.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cable or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Only clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
- Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.
- Be careful when handling the blades.
- The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
- Keep the product away from heat sources. Do not place the product on hot surfaces or near open flames.
- Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
- The use of accessories not recommended by the product manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Children may not use the product without supervision.
- Always check that the voltage of the product corresponds to the mains voltage.
- Do not use this product for chopping ice or hard and dry substances.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Installation
Check the contents of the package
Check that all parts are present and that no damage is visible on the parts. If parts are missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.
Use
Before first use
Before using the product for the first time, thoroughly clean all parts that come in contact with food.
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Clean all parts that come in contact with food before use.

The blender accessory is intended to be used for blending fluids, mixing soft ingredients or mashing cooked ingredients.
1. Put the ingredients in a plastic or metal bowl.
- Do not overfill, fill to maximum 50% to prevent overflowing.
- Cut large foods into smaller pieces before processing.
- To prevent skin burns the ingredients must not be hotter than 80 °C.
2. Push blender A5 onto motor unit A4.
3. Twist A5 clockwise to lock it in place.
4. Connect the product to a power outlet.
5. Hold the product at A4.
6. Immerse the blade head A7 in the ingredients.
7. Use the speed control (0-5) A1 to set the speed.
- The speed can also be adjusted while the product is switched on.
8. Press and hold the power switch A2 to switch on the product.
9. Move the product up and down in circles to blend the ingredients.
10. Release A2 after 30 seconds of continuous use.
- Use the product max. 2 times in a row. After 2 consecutive uses, allow the product to cool down to room temperature to avoid overheating.
11. Press and hold the turbo button A3 to temporarily set the speed to maximum (5).

To blend in flour/dry ingredients and liquids for butters and cookie dough; to stir nuts, chips raisins into heavy cookie dough like oatmeal and chocolate chip.

To whip cream, beat egg whites, mash potatoes and other vegetables like turnips and squash.
Press and hold the turbo button A3 to temporarily set the speed to maximum (5).
Disassembling the product
Disconnect the product from the power source before service and when replacing parts.
Be careful when handling the blades.
Twist A5 anti-clockwise to unlock it from A4.
Maintenance
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
- Do not clean the inside of the product.
- Do not attempt to repair the product. If the product does not operate correctly, replace it with a new product.
- Cleaning the product
- Clean the product after every use.
- Disconnect the product before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Only clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Before cleaning and maintenance, switch off the product and disconnect the power.
