Safety instructions
WARNING
- Only use the product as described in this manual.
- Keep the product out of reach from children.
- This product may only be serviced by a qualified technician for maintenance to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- Never fill the kettle over the “max”. Otherwise hot water can spatter out of the base.
- Connect to a grounded outlet only.
- Unplug the product when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not unplug the charger by pulling on the cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
- Do not use the product if the surface is cracked.
- Do not use the product if a part is damaged or defective. Replace a damaged or defective device immediately.
- Do not touch the hot parts of the product directly.
- Do not let the power cable touch hot surfaces.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, naked flames or heat.
- Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
- Only handle the product with dry hands. Handling with wet hands might cause an electric shock.
- Never immerse the product in water or place it in a dishwasher.
- Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling
Installation
1. Remove all packaging.
2. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
3. Fill the kettle to the max line and bring the water to a boil.
4. Discard the water.
5. Repeat 3 times to remove any dust or residue from the manufacturing process.
Use
1. Place the product on a stable and flat surface.
2. Press A 6 to open A 1.
3. Fill A 4 with water.
- The jug kettle is fitted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off the jug kettle if it is operated without sufficient water.
- After overheating, allow the product to cool down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
- Never fill the kettle over the “max”. Otherwise hot water can spatter out of the base.
- Do not spill any water on the base.
4. Close A 1.
5. Place A 4 on A 5.
6. Connect A 9 to a power outlet.
7. Press A 8 to switch on the product.
- A 8 lights up.
- The kettle heats up until the water boils.
- Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
- A 8 switches off.
8. Ensure that the product is switched off before removing it from its base.
- Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.
Maintenance
- Let the product cool down before cleaning it.
- Do not immerse the product in water.
- Do not expose the electrical connections to water or moisture.
- Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
- Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.
