Instructions

Please read the user manual carefully before use.

For professional live streaming or recording, we suggest use OBS studio software,so
please download the OBS through the following link: http://obsproject.com
(This guide is set under OBS studio and Window 10 system for example.} -
Signal source devices are required to support HDMI, please use HDMI 2.0 cable.

Please connect the devices as the diagram guided. For example:
Capture videos on Camera/DSLR
Capture videos on Phone/Computer/Notebook/Tablet PC
Capture videos on game console
Operation instructions for OBS Studio software.

Download the OBS through the following link and completed its installation: http://obsproject.com

video output resolution setting:
-
Go to file>settings>video, set the resolution of your video:
- If the input resolution is higher than 1080p, set the video output to 1920×1080 FPS 60, or below it.
- If the input resolution is below 1080p, set the resolution the same with your signal source device.

Go to file >settings>output, set the recording path and click (The recorded video will be
auto kept here.) -
Create video capture device
add “video Capture Device” from sources and complete creating. -
Choose the device: USB 2.0 capture device (or USB 3.0 capture device), and it will auto capture the signal on source devices at default mode.
Adjustment
To ensure a smoother video and audio experience, you may continue setting:

Create audio capture device
add “audio input capture” from sources, choose USB 3.0 capture and complete creating. Properties for ‘Audio Input Capture -
Back to sources and double-click video capture device, and go to setting: You may custom the resolution and FPS here just for better preview on OBS.

Set resolution/FPS Type: Custom

Set the resolution:1920×1080

Set the FPS: 60
-
Set the Video Format: select “Any” (you may also choose)

Set the Audio Output Mode: output desktop audio (DirectSound)

Finally click “OK”.
Please make sure your computer audio turned on. -
If you didn’t hear anything, please go to setting:
And choose audio monitoring setting: Monitor Only (mute output) -
Also please go to file>setting>audio, choose sample rate 48 Hz
Start recording or streaming
- Go to choose start recording, and stop recording as you like. Find your videos in recording path file you set.
- Before starting streaming, you need to connect your stream account first.
Go to File> Settings>Stream, connect with your stream account. Go to start Streaming:
Solve the failure of capture

Make sure all connections are correct first (See the diagram in part 2):
- HDMI input connected with signal source device
- HDMI output connected with display monitor
- USB port connected with computer/notebook

Make sure your signal source device support HDMI and is powered on when capturing.
(Only the capture device occurred in the device can it be correctly connected.) -
Recapture it again:
set the resolution of OBS, go to file>setting>video, choose a lower resolution (set the
resolution the same or lower than your input signal resolution) and click ok. -
Restart your input signal device and recreate the video capture device.

FAQs
Q:CanI use it for my phone?
A: Phones are required to support HDMI, so DP Alt mode is required.
Q: Does it work with Nintendo switch? Is there any issue?
A: Yes, it works and performs well with Nintendo switch. Please note: 1.
please restart the switch
if you recapture the video. 2. please avoid the switch sleep when you record
or stream.
Q: Do this come with audio port for mic ?
A: No. You will have to run audio through PC or a mixer.
Q:Ican only capture video, but cannot capture audio?
A: step 1: please reset the audio as we guided in part 3.3
Step 2: please make sure your device and pc audio is turned on.
Step 3: please go to set on you PC:
Go to Control Panel> Device Manager, make sure your audio has the audio
capture device below. Step 4: Go to sound setting of your pc as below: Choose
your input device as capture and continue to set on sound control panel:
Go to properties of your capture: choose to set levels to 100 and sample rate
as 16bit,
48000Hz
Q: does it support other capture software?
A: Yes, we do the test on OBS, Potplayer, etc, it works.
Q: Why it is splash screen or no image?
A: We suggest use standard HDMI12.0 cable.
Q:Why is my output picture quality so poor?
A: When the input signal is 4K@30Hz, resolution of HDMI loop-out and record
output are 1080p60 max.
The final output signal depends on the input source, so if the input signal is
720p, you can only capture and record 720p60 max. And only do you set the
resolution the same or below 720p can you get the capture.
