IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

Read this user manual thoroughly before first use and save it for future reference. Pay attention to the warnings on the product and in the user manual. It contains important information for your safety as well as proper use and maintenance of the product.

Use the product only for its intended purpose. Use only with recommended accessories and components supplied with the product. Improper use or wrong operation may lead to hazards.

Never leave the product unsupervised or unattended while it is switched ON.

Do not place heavy objects on top of the product.
WARNING! Electric Shock Hazard. Do not immerse the milk frother or the power base in water or any other liquids. Never place the milk frother under running water to clean. Do not place the product in the dishwasher. -
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard or the product must be disposed of.

The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the product.

Avoid damages to the power cord. Do not allow the power cord to kink or come in contact with sharp corners.

Keep this product including power cord and plug away from all heat sources, i.e. ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing devices/objects.

When unplugging from the power socket do not pull on the cord.

Disconnect the product from mains power
- when the product is not being used;
- in case of malfunction,
- before attaching/detaching accessories,
- before cleaning and storing the product.

Use the product only in dry locations indoors, never use it outdoors.

Place the product on a stable, level, and slip resistant surface.

Protect the product from extreme heat and cold, direct sunlight and dust.

In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the product to fire (fireplace, grill, candles, cigarettes etc.) or water (water drops, water splashes, vases, tubes, ponds, etc.).

Keep a sufficient safety clearance around the product. Hot milk can cause severe scalding.

Do not move or transport the product during use or while there is hot milk in the thermos can. Spraying hot milk poses a risk of burning.

Operate the product only when it is filled with milk.

Close the lid when frothing or heating.

The use of accessories and components not recommended by the manufacturer may result in injuries or damages and voids the warranty.

This product is not suitable for commercial use. It is designed for household use only.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the product and the power cord out of reach of young children.
- This appliance is intended to be used indoors household use and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments, farmhouses, by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments, bed and breakfast type environments.
- DO NOT fill with milk over the maximum level capacity.
- DO NOT use the milk frother to heat oil, or to melt butter.
- DO NOT place any container inside the milk frother –milk must be removed from the packaging, container, can, etc. before placing into the carafe.
- Do not use to warm milk for a baby.
- Use the product only with the base provided.
- The product must not be immersed in water for cleaning.
- Switch OFF the appliance and disconnect from mains supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- Be careful when hot liquid is poured from the milk frother, as it can eject out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
- Clean the product and any accessories thoroughly after each use. Refer to CLEANING AND CARE section.

UNPACKING
- Remove all packaging materials and dispose it responsibly.
- Check for transport damage and ensure all parts have been delivered. If parts are missing or the appliance has been damaged, contact the Customer Service Centre.
- Important! This product is suitable for heating and frothing milk only. Any other use may result in damage to product or may cause injuries.
Risk of suffocation!
Keep packaging materials out of reach of young children.
BEFORE FIRST USE
DO NOT immerse the power base and Jug in water or any other liquid! DO NOT place any part of the appliance in the dishwasher!
- Inspect the cord and plug for damage. DO NOT use the appliance if an appliance or its cord has been damaged or are not working properly.
- Clean the appliance and accessories thoroughly before use. Refer to the “Cleaning and Care” section for instructions.
- Place the milk frother on a dry, flat, level surface.
- Choose the appropriate whisk and insert it firmly onto the bracket at the base of the jug.
- Fully unwind the power cord, and the milk frother is now ready for use.
OPERATION INSTRUCITONS
FROTHING MILK
- Connect the power cord plug to a suitable power outlet.
- Fill with cold milk (5 – 10°C) between the “MAX ” and “MIN” markings.
- Put the lid firmly onto the jug.
- Place the milk frother on the power base.
- Press the ON/OFF button, the appliance is now at standby mode, then press the desired Frothing function button to start the frothing process.
- The frothing will automatically turn off after 1~ 3 minutes depending on the volume of milk you fill.
- Remove the milk frother from the power base. Open the lid and pour out the foam.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
Note:
Allow at least 5 minutes time between two continuous cycles, this is to allow
the milk frother to cool down before next use. If the milk frother is still
hot, the over-heat overprotection circuit will activate preventing it from
further use. If this happens allow the appliance to cool down, for
approximately 15 to 20 minutes, before turning it ON again.
HEATING MILK
- Connect the power plug to a suitable power outlet.
- Fill with cold milk (5°C – 10°C). The milk level must be between “MAX marks.
- Put the lid firmly onto the jug.
- Place the milk frother on the base.
- Press the ON/OFF button, the appliance is now at standby mode, then press the Heat Milk button to start warming milk.
- The milk frother will automatically turn off when the temperature of milk reaches approx. 65°C.
- Remove the milk frother from the base. Open the lid and pour out the milk.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
DRY-BOIL PROTECTION
The appliance will automatically switch off when there is no milk or
insufficient milk in the jug. ALWAYS ensure MIN level of milk was filled
before operation. If dry-boil protection had operated, allow the appliance to
cool down before turning it ON again.
CLEANING AND CARE
IMPORTANT! To avoid build-up milk stains, clean immediately after use.
- Unplug the power base from the electrical power outlet and allow the milk frother to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp soft cloth or sponge. Rinse the inside of the jug and whisk with water.
- If necessary, put on the whisk attachment. Fill in clean water to MAX. level, then add a couple drops of mild liquid soap. Turn ON the milk frother and allow the soapy water to clean the jug. When it is OFF, discard the soap water. Pour fresh clean water into the jug, rinse it until soapy water is completely removed. Dry it thoroughly with a cloth.
- Make sure that all electrical connectors and sockets are kept dry.
- Rinse lid and whisk in clean water and dry thoroughly.
- Never use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents, hard brushes, metal or sharp objects to clean. Solvents are hazardous to health and harm the product’s plastic parts; abrasive cleaning agents and cleaning accessories may scratch the product’s surfaces.
STORAGE
- Unplug the milk frother and allow it to cool.
- Store in the box in a cool and dry place.
- Never store the appliance while it is still connected to mains power.
- Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance.
- Do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the appliance as it may cause the cord to fray and break.

product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period
stated above, from the date of purchase, provided that the product is used in
accordance with accompanying recommendations or instructions where provided.
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Kmart will provide you with your choice of a refund, repair or exchange (where
possible) for this product if it becomes defective within the warranty period.
Kmart will bear the reasonable expense of claiming the warranty. This warranty
will no longer apply where the defect is a result of alteration, accident,
misuse, abuse or neglect. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase and

995 (New Zealand) or alternatively, via Customer Help at Kmart.com.au for any
difficulties with your product. Warranty claims and claims for expense
incurred in returning this product can be addressed to our Customer Service
Centre at 690 Springvale Rd, Mulgrave Vic 3170. Our goods come with guarantees
that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to
a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the
failure does not amount to a major failure. For New Zealand customers, this
warranty is in addition to statutory rights observed under New Zealand
legislation.
