FALCON RIDGE KAW-3010TRANS-FC01 3010 Trans Full Cab Enclosure

2515 Bypass Rd. Flemingsburg, KY 41041 606-845-7439
Instructions for Installation and Care of 3010 Trans Full Cab Enclosure KAW- 3010TRANS-FC01
Notice: Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames. Cab is Flammable.

  1. Be sure to read these instructions thoroughly before unrolling and installing the Falcon Ridge 3010 Trans Full Cab Enclosure. The installation is best done when the temperature is 65 degrees F. or warmer.

  2. Carefully unroll the Cab Enclosure on a large flat surface that is clean and free of dirt, preferably on grass lawn.

  3. Check over the parts included in the carton with the parts list shown below:

    • Velcro Hook strips: 8 each 8” long “ “ 1 each 16” long “ “ 1 each 43” long “ “ 12 each 3” long “ “ 2 each 11” long (1”wide)
    • Snap studs 11 each (1 extra)
    • Cab Enclosure 1 each
  4. The Cab enclosure will be in 4 separate pieces when removed from the boxes, windshield/top, 2 side door panels, and a rear window. To begin, loosely drape the windshield/top over the top of the Mule roll cage. Note the correct position for the 16” latch strip on the brush guard at the front of the Mule. Clean the area with Isopropyl alcohol, let dry and apply the Velcro hook strip. Then attach the Cab to the strip around the brush guard.

  5. Working your way to the rear of the roll cage, fit the Cab into position. You will now need to wrap the bars with the 6” adhesive hook strips directly above the air intake vents on either side of the roll cage. Firmly grasp the rear corners of the windshield/top and pull them down to the Velcro. Once you have brought the two pieces of Velcro together you will first wrap one side of the double-sided Velcro around the bar and then wrap the other side around to overlap itself creating a strong and secure hold. At this point you may need to adjust the nose piece and either loosen or tighten it before moving forward. Next locate the double-sided Velcro strips positioned in the middle of the top and repeat the same process. Be certain to clean the surfaces before applying the adhesive loop strips!

  1. Position and install the eight (4 per side) 8” adhesive hook strips on the left and right sides of the roll cage on either side of the front window. Be certain to clean the surfaces before applying the adhesive loop strips! First, apply all four strips on one side of the roll cage then pull the window tightly toward the other side to minimize waviness or wrinkles in the front window.

  2. Once the windshield/top is secure move to the rear and zip on the rear window across the top. Take note and mark where the bottom of the rear window meets with the divider screen and place the 43” adhesive Velcro hook strip here. Next wrap the roll cage on either side below the air intake vents and fasten the double-sided Velcro strips.

  3. Once the windshield/top and rear window are in place and secured take the side door panels and zip them on starting with the top main zipper and then attach it to the rear window along the back. There are 3 double-sided Velcro strips that attach to the roll cage, take note of there positions and wrap the bars with 6” Velcro hook strips at the appropriate locations. The only other Velcro strips left are 8” long and 1” wide pieces at the rear of the door panels and will attach to the bed of the Mule as shown in the photo below.

  1. Mark the desired locations for the stud snaps on the front fenders. You will use 5 per side. Then install the stud snaps to the Mule using only a #2 Phillips screwdriver.
  2. To open and stow the front doors, move the zipper fully rearward then begin to form a vertical roll with the door by rolling it inward from the front edge toward the rear of the door. Secure in place using the two hook and loop straps provided. Try to form a roll approximately 2” in diameter to assure that the door will not stick out very far while stowed.

Cleaning and Storage Recommendations

  1. Before removing the Falcon Ridge Cab for storage, make sure it is very clean in order to prevent scratching of the window panels. Clean with a soft rag (I recommend a Flannel or Micro Fiber Cloth) or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water solution. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag! Let the Cab dry thoroughly before attempting to roll for storage.
  2. It is important that the Cab be rolled up for storage rather than folding. Folding will cause damage to the windows!!! Carefully roll up the Cab similar to the way it was when it was packed at the factory On a large, clean and flat surface, fold the doors over the rear panel first, then, interleave the top and windshield on top of the doors. Begin rolling the Cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Put the rolled Cab back into the carton for storage at a normal room temperature. It is best not to expose the Cab to either extreme hot or cold temperatures when storing.
  3. A special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge that will greatly increase the service life of the Cab Enclosure. In addition, if additional hook and loop sets are needed, they can also be ordered.
