The chest freezer must be disconnected from mains power before attempting the installation of accessories.

Refrigerant and cyclopentane foaming material used for the appliance are flammable. Therefore, when the appliance is scrapped, it shall be kept away from any fire source and be recovered by a special recovering company with corresponding qualification other than be disposed by combustion, so as to prevent damage to the environment or any other harm.

For doors or lids fitted with locks, the keys must be kept out of reach of children and not in the vicinity of the chest freezer appliance, in order to prevent children from being locked inside.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload refrigerating appliances.

To avoid contamination of food, please observe the following instructions:
- Opening the door for long periods of time can cause a significant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
- Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days. (Note 1)
- Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the chest freezer, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food.
- Two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing or making ice-cream and making ice cubes. (Note 2)
- One-star , two-star and three-star compartments are not suitable for freezing fresh food. (Note 3)
– For appliances without a 4-star compartment: this refrigerating appliance is not suitable for freezing foodstuffs. (Note 4)
- If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods of time, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

Before you dispose of your old chest freezer or refrigerator:
- Remove the door or lid so that children cannot hide or get trapped inside your old appliance.
- Leave any shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.
- Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or brain damage.
IMPORTANT:
Flammable gas and refrigerant used. It is the consumer’s responsibility to
comply with Federal and Local regulations when disposing of this product.
Refrigerants must be evacuated by a licensed, EPA-certified refrigerant
technician in accordance with established procedures.
ELECTRICITY-RELATED WARNINGS
- Do not pull the power cord when pulling the power plug of the chest freezer. Please firmly grasp the plug and pull out from the socket.
- Do not damage the power cord under any condition. To ensure safe use, do not use when the power cord is damaged or the plug is worn.
- Worn or damaged power cord Must be replaced by the manufacturer or his service center.
- The power plug should be firmly in contact with the socket; otherwise fire may be caused. Please ensure that the appliance is properly grounded.
- Please turn off the valve of leaking gas and open the doors and windows in case of leakage of gas and other flammable substances. Do not unplug the chest freezer and other electrical appliances considering that spark may cause a fire.
- To ensure safety, it is not recommended that to place regulators, rice cookers, microwave ovens and other appliances on top of the chest freezer, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance.
WARNINGS RELATED TO PLACING ITEMS
- Do not place flammable, explosive, volatile and highly corrosive items in the chest freezer to prevent damages to the product or fire accidents.
- Do not place flammable items near the chest freezer to avoid fires.
- This product is a household chest freezer and is only suitable for storing food. According to national standards, household chest freezers shall not be used for other purposes, such as storage of blood, drugs or biological products.
- Do not place items such as bottled or sealed fluid container such as bottled beer and beverages in the chest freezer to prevent bursts and other losses.
WARNINGS FOR USE
- Do not arbitrarily disassemble or reconstruct the chest freezer, nor damage the refrigerant circuit; maintenance of the appliance must be conducted by a specialist.
- A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its maintenance department or related professionals in order to avoid danger.
- The gaps between chest freezer lid and body are small. Do not to place your hands in these areas to prevent squeezing your fingers. Please be gentle when open the chest freezer door to avoid articles falling out.
- Do not pick up food or containers with wet hands in the freezing chamber when the chest freezer is running, especially metal containers in order to avoid frostbit.
- Do not allow children to enter or climb in the chest freezer to prevent that they are sealed in the chest freezer or injured by the falling chest freezer.
- Do not spray or wash the chest freezer; do not place the chest freezer in moist places easy to be splashed with water not to affect the electrical insulation properties of the chest freezer.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the chest freezer considering that objects may fall when opening the door and injuries might be caused.
- Please pull out the plug in case of power failure or cleaning. Do not connect the chest freezer to mains power supply within five minutes to prevent damages to the compressor due to successive starts.
ENERGY WARNINGS
1. The chest freezer may not operate consistently when set for an
extended period of time below the cold end of the temperature range for which
the chest freezer is designed.
2. Sparkling beverages shall not be stored in a chest freezer or a lower
temperature compartment. Certain drinks (such as ice water) shall not be too
cold for drinking.
3. Do not exceed the storage time recommended by the food manufacturers
for any kind of food and particularly for commercially quick-frozen food in
food-freezer and frozen food storage compartments or cabinets
4. Prevent an undue rise in temperature of frozen food while defrosting
the refrigerating appliance, such as wrapping the frozen food in several
layers of newspaper.
5. A rise in temperature of frozen food during manual defrosting,
maintenance or cleaning can shorten the storage life.
DISPOSAL
The chest freezer’s refrigerant and cyclopentane foam materials are combustible materials and discarded chest freezers should be isolated from fire sources and are not to be burned. Please hand the chest freezer to a qualified professional recycling company for processing to avoid damages to the environment or other hazards.
Please remove the door of the chest freezer. Shelves should be properly placed to avoid accidents of children entering and playing in the chest freezer.

This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household waste. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They take this product in for environmental safe recycling.
2. PROPER USE OF CHEST FREEZER
2.1 PLACEMENT

Before using the chest freezer, remove all packaging materials including bottom pads, foam pads and tape inside the chest freezer, tear off the protective film on the door and the chest freezer body.

Keep away from heat and avoid direct sunlight. Do not place the chest freezer in moist or wet places to prevent rust or reduction of the insulating effect.

The chest freezer should be placed in a well-ventilated indoor place; the ground must be flat, and sturdy.

The space on top of the chest freezer shall be greater than 70cm, and the chest freezer should be placed against a wall with a distance of more than 20cm to facilitate heat dissipation.
2.2 ENERGY SAVING TIPS
- The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
- Let hot foods cool down to room temperature before placing it in the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Food that freezes too slowly may lose quality, or spoil.
- Be sure to wrap food properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
- Appliance storage bins should not be lined with tin foil, wax paper, or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
- Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
2.3 CHANGING THE LIGHT (OPTIONAL)
- Any replacement or maintenance of the LED lamps is intended to be made by the manufacturer, its service agent or similar qualified persons.
The light source in this product is only to be replaced by qualified engineers.
- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out bulb replacement, hold to remove the light bulb cover.
- Dismantle the old bulb by unscrewing it counter-clockwise. Replace with a new bulb (max 15W) by screwing it in clockwise, and make sure it is fixed in the bulb holder tightly.
- Reassemble the light cover and re-connect your chest freezer to power supply.

2.4 START TO USE
- The chest freezer should stay for two hours before connecting power.
- The chest freezer should run 2 to 3 hours before loading fresh or frozen food; the chest freezer should run for more than 4 hours in summer in advance considering that the ambient temperature is high.

- The low temperature of chest freezer may keep food fresh for a long time and it is mainly used to store frozen food and making ice.
- The chest freezer is suitable for storing meat, fish, shrimps, pastries and other food not to be consumed in the short term. Do not store fluids in bottled or closed containers such as bottled beer, beverages, etc.
- Please note that food should be consumed within the shelf life.
- Freezing capacity value is marked on the rating label. The freezing speed of the product is related to the amount of food stored and the ambient temperature. If you place too much normal temperature food in one time, you need to adjust the chest freezer to the maximum setting and power on 24 hours in advance. Large size food should be divided into small size for storage, otherwise it cannot be frozen completely and might cause go bad.
IMPORTANT:
After long-term use, there may be a certain degree of wear of the hinges.
This will cause a noise when opening/closing the door and reduce the service
life of hinge. It is recommended to grease the hinges regularly to effectively
eliminate noise and extend the service life of hinges.
The weight of the objects in the basket should not exceed 5kg.
If the product is packaged in thin film, there may be condensation on the surface of the box and the film when the temperature and humidity of the transportation environment changes rapidly.
This is a normal physical phenomenon and does not affect the use of the product.
2.6 TEMPERATURE CONTROL
- Connect the chest freezer to mains power, the “POWER” indicator will light up (green light).
- Turn the thermostat knob clockwise for the temperature inside the chest freezer to decrease.
- “COOLING” means cooling zone, “FREEZING” means the freezing zone.
- “Recommended setting” see marked position
- The coldest gear can quickly freeze food in a short period of time. If a large amount of food is frozen at the same time, it is recommended to adjust to the coldest setting 12 hours in advance before adding the food. After the food is quickly frozen, please adjust the gear back to the normal range.

3. MAINTENANCE OF CHEST FREEZER
Your chest freezer is designed for year-round use and requires minimal cleaning and maintenance. To keep your chest freezer running efficiently and odor-free, we recommend that you clean the chest freezer regularly.
3.1 CLEANING
- Dust behind the chest freezer and on the ground should be cleaned to improve the cooling effect and energy saving.
- Check the door gasket regularly to make sure there is no debris. Clean the door gasket with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent.
- The interior of the chest freezer should be cleaned regularly to avoid bad odors.
- Please turn off the power before cleaning, remove all food, baskets, containers, etc.
- Use a soft cloth or sponge to clean the inside of the chest freezer with two tablespoons of baking soda and a quart of warm water. Then rinse with water and wipe clean. After cleaning, open the door and let it dry naturally before turning on the power.
- For areas that are difficult to clean in the chest freezer (such as gaps or corners), it is recommended to wipe them regularly with a soft rag, soft brush, etc. and when necessary, use some auxiliary tools (such as thin sticks) to ensure no contaminant or bacteria accumulation in these areas.
- Do not use soap, detergent, scouring powder, spray cleaner, etc., as these may cause odors in the interior of the chest freezer or contaminate the food.
- Clean the baskets with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or diluted detergent. Dry with a soft cloth or dry naturally.
- Wipe the outer surface of the chest freezer with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water, detergent, etc., and then wipe dry.
- Do not use hard brushes, scouring pads, wire brushes, abrasives (such as toothpaste), organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items, which may damage the chest freezer surface and interior. Boiling water and organic solvents such as benzene may deform or damage plastic parts.
- Do not rinse directly with water or other liquids during cleaning to avoid short circuit or affect electrical insulation after immersion.
Unplug the chest freezer for defrosting and cleaning.
3.2 DEFROSTING
The chest freezer should be manually defrosted.
- Unplug the chest freezer and open the chest freezer door, remove food and baskets before defrosting. Open the drain hole (and place a container at the outlet). Indoor frost will naturally melt, wipe the defrost water with a dry, soft cloth. When the frost softens, an ice scraper might be used to accelerate the deicing process.
- Please remove the food and put in a cool place when defrosting.
Other mechanical devices or other means should not be used to accelerate defrosting, except those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
3.3 NON-USE
- Power failure: In case of power failure, even if it is in summer, food inside the appliance can be kept for several hours; during the power failure, the times of opening the doors must be reduced, and no more fresh food should be placed into the appliance.
- Long-time nonuse: Unplug the chest freezer left unused for a long time for cleaning. Keep the door open to avoid bad odors.
- Moving: Do not turn the chest freezer upright or shake it. The carrying angle should not be greater than 45°. Do not hold door and hinges when moving this unit.
Continuous operation is recommended when the chest freezer is started. Do not stop the chest freezer under normal circumstances so as not to affect the chest freezer’s service life.
4. TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following simple issues can be handled by the user. Please call the after- sale service department if the issues are not solved.
Malfunction| Check whether the chest freezer is plugged in and connected to
power. Low voltage. Check whether the temperature control knob is set
properly. Power failure or tripping circuit.

Odor| Odorous food should be closely wrapped. Check if the food is rotten.
Check if the interior must be cleaned.
Long-term operation of the compressor| It is normal that the chest freezer
operates for a longer time in summer when the ambient temperature is higher.
Do not place too much food in the chest freezer at one time. Do not place food
in the chest freezer before is has cooled down. Frequent opening of chest
freezer door. Thick layer of frost (defrosting is needed).
Light does not work| Check if the chest freezer is connected to mains power or
the light is damaged.
Door cannot be properly closed| The chest freezer door is obstructed by food
packages. Too much food. Unbalanced chest freezer.
Loud noises| Check if the floor is flat, whether the placement of chest
freezer is stable. Check if the chest freezer accessories are properly placed.
Difficulty in door opening| After refrigeration, there will be pressure
difference between the inside and outside of the chest freezer that results in
difficulty to open the door. This is a normal physical phenomenon.
Hot sidewalls| The chest freezer housing may emit heat during operation
especially in summer. This is caused by the radiation of the condenser, and it
is a normal phenomenon.
Surface condensation| Condensation: This phenomenon will be detected on the
exterior surface and door seals of the chest freezer when the ambient humidity
is high. This is a normal phenomenon, and the condensation can be wiped away
with a dry towel.
Airflow sound Buzz Clatter| Refrigerants circulating in the pipes will produce
sound and grunts which is normal and does not affect the cooling.
Buzz will be generated by running compressor especially when starting up or shutting down.
The solenoid valve or electric switch valve will clatter which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect operation.
